My son and i stayed with the dog. The fenced in yard was great for them to run around. The location was close to everything and quiet. We enjoyed our time here!

We loved Jim’s cottage! It had everything we needed and more. Jim was incredibly responsive and the location was in close proximity to everything we wanted to see in Charleston! 10/10 would stay here again.

Great place

The house is very clean and well kept with a great yard! It is pretty close to every area of town. We really appreciate the snacks and wine the host left for us! We will definitely stay here again!

Location great to access any/everything Charleston

Home was decorated for the holidays, very clean. Host goes above and beyond to provide supplies guests might need. Was a bit rowdy outside for New Year’s Eve. We enjoyed our stay!

clean house and cozy

The house was very well decorated, very clean and comfy beds! Super kind the owner had some drinks and snacks set out for us upon arrival which was great not having to rush to the store. Owner is very quick to respond and always very helpful. Outdoor area is so cute and enjoyed while staying here.

Very Comfortable Cottage

Cute, comfy, and amazingly well stocked. If you plan on cooking during your stay, youll find all you need in terms of pots, pans, pantry stock and dishware. The beds are comfy, instructions are clear, and the cottage was well cleaned. Both front and backyard are fenced and securely contained our dog. The owner was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay!

Great family stay in North Charleston

Place was great. Quiet neighborhood except for the occasional commercial airliner or military jets from nearby AFB. Communication with the owner was stellar and there are many instructions throughout the house. Backyard is cozy and perfect for just hanging out but beware for garden spiders/orb weaver/banana spiders all over. No real threats to us. Honestly felt at home.

We got to site see a lot of historical locations. The location of the house made it possible to travel all over Charleston. Very convenient. Adorable set up of the house.

As Cayce mentioned the backyard is great, lots of flowers that bloom during the seasons, the butterflies, bees pollinating the flowers, and the birds splashing in the birdbath

Charming house & host

Could not have been better-kind and super-thoughtful host, comfortable home, lovely neighborhood. Totally peaceful except when planes fly overhead, but even that seemed like no big deal in the relaxing atmosphere of the back garden. Exactly the break from stress we needed! Highly recommended!

As Heather mentioned their are Planes that on occasion (depending on the flight pattern) fly over head, their is a airport that is just 3 miles away so some times their are quite low, Charleston Airforce base uses the airport as well, so you may notice both Commercial and military planes, Most planes are not heard while inside the house.

Had a water leak in the bathroom and couldn’t rent it so we had to find a hotel that takes dogs. I was so stressed out. They did reimburse me for my rental and paid for half the hotel.

What a delightful stay!

A friend and I came into town for a graduation and stayed at this property and it was absolutely delightful. The host was communicative and prompt, the property was clean and well stocked. I particularly enjoyed the back yard, which had a lovely covered sitting area. The property is also close to everything. It is extremely easy access to I-26 and only 10 minutes into the heart of Charleston. There is also a great brewery just around the corner and many wonderful restaurants only a few minutes away.

I'm guessing Clifford wasn't aware of the surprise freeze we had the week before his arrival, which burned most of the plants in the flower beds. There is work to be done, getting the flower beds cleaned up and re planted with some spring/summer color.

Place was very clean & nice. Jim responded quickly & was very helpful. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. I know some have been concerned about the area. We did not have any issues & felt safe. Was easy to get to places we wanted to go.

Good first experience

The house and property were so inviting! The owner was quick to respond to questions and the house was stocked with anything a traveller might need. We were there for a family reunion in town and this property was more than adequate for us. We were there over July 4th and the neighbors set off fireworks in the street until after midnight but that would have happened at home as well, so not a big deal. Overall, as a first experience with VRBO it was very good

Girls trip to Charleston

We loved the place. The location (neighborhood) looks sketchy but it was actually very quiet. The house was perfect for what we needed. I will say that the AC in both smaller bedrooms was not working very well. It got pretty toasty. But everything else was great.
