Charleston Luxury Big Family Hideaway

If you are looking for an at home feel then you will love our 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home that also includes a beautiful loft space that can be used as a work space as well as a huge media room where the kids can hangout or the adults can hide away. Huge yard with a screened in lanai in which you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee as the sun comes up. All rooms are furnished with TV's that include Roku, firestick and local cable. (It is suggested you bring your own towels as I purchased 60 over the last 2 years, and I’m now down to 4.) Beautiful and quiet neighborhood with Wannamaker trail just blocks away and plenty of popular eateries such as Popeyes, Taco bell, KFC, Starbucks, and Chipotle just minutes away. Check out our local Farmer & Artisan market just an 8 minute drive from the house or perhaps some family time at Royal lanes family entertainment. Home is just 18 minutes from the Charleston airport, 15 minutes from North Charleston and 30 minutes from downtown Charleston where you can grab a meal at Hannibal's Kitchen, Leon's, Rodney Scott's BBQ there is no shortage of options. Come make our home your home.

It was cute

We enjoyed our stay , it was very homey and we felt safe in the neighborhood. House had everything we needed. There is a little park around the corner and a fenced back yard. Close to restaurants and everything you could need . Would definitely stay again.

This home is absolutely beautiful! It has everything you need, is very comfortable and relaxing. We are so happy and blessed to have called it our home away from home! The location is great, too (there are plenty of amenities close to it)!

Clean and plenty of room

There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The place was clean and well stocked with pans and utensils for us to cook breakfast each morning and close enough to go out and see the Charleston area. We felt safe in a nice neighborhood.

Goose Creek get together.

This property was just as it was described. It was roomy, bright and beautiful. I appreciated that it was so thoughtfully furnished as well. I would recommend this house for certain. It was in a great location in a quiet neighborhood and the beds were very comfortable!

Worked out great for our needs

We took our parents for a little get away to Charleston. The house worked out great. It was nice having the master bedroom on the first floor with two other bedrooms (and a small media room) upstairs. The location seemed to be in a good spot and not in the hustle and bustle of Charleston.

Loved it

We loved staying at this house. Just one thing maybe 2 ply toilet paper. lol It was clean and served the purpose of the holiday stay. You might want to clean the carpet in the master bedroom and put a tv in the upstairs bedroom other than that it was great!

Let's start off by saying the location was fine. The neighborhood was quite and next door neighbor was friendly. The house was a nice house. It does need some cosmetic work. Now the not so good part. Once we went inside went upstairs it was smelled like urine. upstsmelled

Convenient but minimal

The place was a bit run down. Termite damage in areas, dirty walls, a hole in one of the bedroom walls, peeling floor finish, severely stained carpet and paint was sprayed on walls with overspray on adjacent areas looked sloppy and dirty. Burnt out light bulbs in several areas. There were no extras like shampoo, paper towels or staples. Overall we managed but I would no t rwcommend it.

Respectfully and luckily my cleaners have been having to work with very little time between guest because of how much the house is being booked. Great home away from home

This vacation home was beautiful as described. Very homey, quiet nice neighborhood & friendly neighbors. The only discrepancy I had was it reads that its a six bedroom home and it was set up as a 3bdrm. A few spots needed to be cleaned. You should fix or repair the electrical issues in the dining area/kitchen but other than that it was a great stay. I loved it. I would recommend to friends and family for future stays. I would even rent it again myself thanks so much

Lovely home, but…

The house was perfect for us but 2 of us got sick. There appears to be mold in 2 of the bathrooms and wall by front door is cracking. Looks like they previously had water damage.

WEEK IF Wedding Prep

House was nice, good communication with owner.The only thing the book he has there has no info as far as trash when it goes out the can was full ofdiscarded linensand pillows when we arrived an was left in front of garage we had to haul our trash off due to this.,there was no info to set up for Tv's it really needs to be updated with more basic info.Overall was a nice house and would rent again.

Family vacation

Worst rental we’ve ever stayed in!!! We arrived to a house with no power. It took two attempts to reach the host. Power would not be restored until the next day. Tyree promised to refund cost of one day. I had to contact Vrbo to receive the promised payment., 10 days later. Severely stained carpet in main bedroom. Holes in the walls, cigarette stains on the bathroom vanity. Kitchen poorly stocked.

**Disappointment**I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the house was not clean, and I immediately noticed an ant infestation. There were also holes in the walls that detracted from the overall appearance of the place. To make matters worse, there were 1 towel and no washcloths provided, which is a basic expectation for any rental. The listing incorrectly stated that there were 3 futons in the common areas, but there weren’t any futons at all in the house. Additionally, several fixtures were missing light bulbs, which made the space feel dim and neglected. I found cigarettes in the ashtray on the patio, and the grill was dirty, showing a lack of maintenance. The grass hadn't been cut, and the shrubbery was growing into the walkway, making it difficult to navigate.I reached out to the owner to express my concerns, but his response was dismissive: “Looks like I have been robbed; I can’t help that.” This attitude was incredibly frustrating and did not reflect the level of service one would expect.This home has great potential, but it truly needs attention and a new manager to improve the overall experience for future guests. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made.

Potential, But Needs Work

Kitchen was clean and reasonably equipped. Although there were no dish towels, or a scrubby for the dishes.Dinningroom was nice and great for family meals. Downstairs living area furniture was comfortable with plenty of seating. There were 7 remotes in the livong room and not one of them controlled the TV. 5 TVs and not one of them had a working remote. The walls throughout were scuffed up and need to be washed and painted. The carpet in in the bedrooms needed a deep shampoo. The upstairs bathroom light and fan did not work. We did reachout and host told us where the light bulbs were. We changed the bulb and the light worked. The tubs did not drain well. The light switches throughout were very difficult to figureout and some the switch had be balanced on the middle to turn the lights off. Lastly the cleaning lady showed up and walked in unannounced an hour before checkout. Stated that she gotba text to be there at 10:00 am. This house has potential to be really nice. The host nee andpr and needed to be washed and painted.
