Lovely Gite set in a wonderful garden

Review of Gite Les Magnolias in Friville-Escarbotin What a really lovely property! It’s situated in what appears to be a private park in the village of Friville-Escarbotin. Access to it is via a motorized gate which the proprietor will arrange to be open when you arrive and then you are given a remote-control ‘key’. The gite can comfortably sleep any number between two and six people via two upstairs bedrooms and a fold-up sofa downstairs. All amenities and facilities are provided; and I do mean all. These range from an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, TV and DVD player, cutlery, glasses, cups and pots and pans. Since it is in a secluded area of the village, the property is quiet so it’s very restful. There is a table outside where we managed to eat the majority of the meals we cooked. We thoroughly enjoys evenings in the jacuzzi which was really relaxing after a long day exploring . Friville-Escarbotin is ideal as a base for touring around and depending on your interests it is close to World War One battlefield sites, nature reserves and places of scenic beauty. During our week there, we visited Le Treport, Mers les Bains, Ault, St Valery, Le Crotoy and Abbeville. We can thoroughly recommend this property and we hope to come back soon.

Un havre de paix dans une nature incroyable. Des arbres magnifiques dès l arrivée. Et un intérieur propre et bien conçu. Avec tout le confort. Bonne literie. Prendre en compte que les chambres sont a l étage. Les toilettes et salle de bain sont au rez de chaussée.. très propre avec une douche avec jeys hydromassant. Top. Un accueil sympathique.

Ein niedliches Haus auf einem riesigen, parkähnlichen Grundstück, auf dem man sich frei bewegen darf. Es gibt eine große Obstwiese, auf der man sich an den Früchten bedienen darf - sehr nett! Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, Geschirrspüler, sogar Waschmaschine sind vorhanden. Es könnte ein paar mehr Tassen und einheitliche Gläser geben, und scharfe Messer.... Das Sofa dürfte gerne größer sein, insbesondere wenn man mit mehr als zwei Personen reist. Die Vermieterin ist wirklich sehr sehr lieb, spricht auch ein bisschen Englisch, so kann man auf jeden Fall kommunizieren. Mit dem Auto ist man in 15 Minuten in den Küstenorten, uns hat Mers-les-Bains sehr gut gefallen. Märkte und Supermärkte sind auch in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Der Pizzaautomat am Beginn des Dorfes ist durchaus einen Besuch wert.

Wir hatten tolle zwei Wochen. Das Ferienhaus hatte aus unserer Sicht alles, was man braucht. Im Ort gibt es mehrere Supermärkte zur Selbstversorgung. Das Meer ist in ca. 14 Minuten zu erreichen, wo man baden und lange Spaziergänge unternehmen kann. Wir waren mit Kindern und Hund dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern in dem Ferienhäuschen, das hat gut gepasst. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, v.a. die Küche, es lässt sich prima dort kochen. Leider hat das WLAN während unseres Aufenthalts nicht funktioniert, was wohl am Betreiber lag. Die Lüftung des Badezimmers ist recht lau, was den Menschen stören könnte, der gegebenenfalls auf der Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer übernachtet. Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen.

Excellent séjour en baie de Somme. Gîte particulièrement bien situé pour visiter les sites remarquables, tous à 20 ou 40 min maximum de route (Parc du Marquenterre, Rue, Le Crotoy, Saint Valéry, abbaye de Valloire, Ault…). Hôtesse très accueillante et gîte impeccable.

Les grand parents et leurs petites filles ont été très sympathiques : pour les grands parents avec qui ils a été très facile d'échanger pour les petites filles "adorables " qui ont pris du plaisir aux balançoires et tobogan. Nous accueillerions à nouveau avec plaisir .

Hébergement situé à 15min de plusieurs endroits très chouettes à visiter, proche d'un petit centre dans lequel on trouve boucherie, boulangerie. Le lieu est calme et le jardin est joli. L'intérieur est propre et bien équipé ! A bientôt sans doute !

Superbe lieu

Superbe lieu avec tous le matériel pour passé de bonnes vacances arboré avec un parc magnifique et reposant, souriant et répond très rapidement. A proximité de la Baie de Sommes, du Tréport et de Cayeux . Sans hésitations nous y retournerons lors de prochain séjours. A recommandé la journée SPA. Un point qui est génial c'est que nos amis les animaux sont accepter.
