80才のユニークなラグナ作家の家で、今でも元の家族が所有しています。 家は3つのベッドルーム、2つのバスタブ、緑豊かな丘の斜面、ビーチから6ブロック、ラグナビーチのダウンタウンから南に1マイル、ブルーバードキャニオンの近くにあります。

松の壁と床だけで建てられたラグナの初期の家の1つであるこの家には、素敵な暖炉のある広いリビングとダイニングルームがあります。

1920年代に敷地の周囲に植えられた高騰するユーカリの木には、さまざまな鳥や渡り鳥のオオカバマダラが生息しています。 自然で広々とした風景は、子どもたちの遊びを促します。

Rustic apparently equals old and shabby. 1. Broken coffee maker.2. No coffee filters when we tried to make do with the broken coffee maker.3. No sugar. Even cheap hotels supply ability to make coffee and accompanying condiments.4. Speaking of condiments, the refrigerator had used condiments and the freezer had old ice cream. I do not, and no one should, use opened items at VRBOs.5. It was old and tatty. Faded framed posters on the walls, slanted floors, all the things that accompany an old neglected property.6. A used bar of soap in the shower. This is just gross and unacceptable.7. There was no sense of welcome upon entering the house. It was old, it smelled old, the floors were sagging and slanted, and the keys were held together with a hair tie.

It is a pretty place. There was no coffee, shampoo or fans, (which were needed the fbut that might be normal in CA.

The home was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. We loved its' cozy, rustic charm; as well as the proximity to the beach and shops. We had to change dates 2x leading up to our stay and Steve/Annette were very gracious and accommodating.

Great location - private yet within easy walking distance from beaches, shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms adequate, but only one (spacious) shower. It is very rustic. Could use some TLC and some upgrades.

Comfy Cottage

We loved our stay. The house was so cute and in a quiet area. The huge surrounding trees and bushes made it seem tucked away in an area far from a citty but was actually so close to the beaches and main beach. We enjoyed game nights out on the deck with the ocean view in the background. There is no ac so bring a fan if you can. Luckily we brought a couple fans. They had beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. Oh and private off the street parking! Amazing! We want to stay there again.

Laguna Beach Cabin

This is a very quaint, but very rustic cabin. The location is wonderful. The setting is beautiful and the hosts were responsive and wonderful to work with. We were not prepared for how rustic the accommodation is. There were 5 adult family members preparing for a wedding. We had to share one bathroom as there is only one shower.The other bathroom does not have a practical bathing facility. The lighting is poor, so difficult to get glamorous. That being said, the outdoor spaces are beautiful and you cannot beat the location; within walking distance to the beach and multiple great cafes, restaurants and shops. If you are prepared for a rustic cabin in the woods, then I would definitely recommend!

The cottage definitely lived up to the 5 star reviews I read before arriving. Comfortable, romantic, peaceful, and within easy walking distance to restaurants and beaches. We were in town for a wedding and so glad to be staying here and not at a hotel.

Great find!

The home was very quaint and cozy and was in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owner was super responsive and even had a new coffee maker delivered when the one at the house stopped working.

Wonderful stay!

This charming beyond belief cottage was exactly what we wanted! Privacy, trees, birds and such an amazing rustic (yet modern!) cottage to spend your time! My husband had business and I gladly stayed at the cottage working on jigsaw puzzles or walking around outside on this amazing property! Will definitely stay here again when in OC!!

Cozy cabin in eucalyptus trees

We loved our time in Laguna in this cozy 1920s cabin in a grove of eucalyptus trees. At times i felt like I was in a tree house, it was so delightful. The deck made for lovely mornings with a cup of coffee and cocktail hour as the sun set. We appreciated how walkable it is to the beach coves. The fireplace made for a cozy winter visit. We appreciate the family history of this cottage and are grateful for our time there.

Amazing stay in a historical cabin

We highly recommend this location for a stay in Laguna Beach or Irvine. It is an amazing structure that dates back to the 1920s. We loved seeing the stages of development recorded in the main room photos. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner, and we looked forward to our daily walks in the neighborhood. We cannot wait to return in the future!

Wire Cottage

Coming from the Los Angeles fires, my family was feeling very fragile. As luck would have it, we met a wonderful mother at Bluebird Park, Laura, who introduced us to this rental. Charming, restorative, peaceful--we couldn't have asked for more during our stay with our 15 month old son. Surrounded by light, trees and wood, we enjoyed beautiful meals on the deck and walks through the serene neighborhood to the beach. We will definitely be coming back and cannot wait for others to share a similar experience.
