Great location away from the bustle of Interlaken

Well located above Interlaken, free bus service excellent. Property had everything needed for the week, comfortable, quiet position with lovely views. Secure parking.

A quiet and comfortable apartment

This is a quiet and comfortable apartment to stay and communications with host is very good. Be aware the bus connection is only once an hour except for the peak hours 6am, 3-5pm at half an hour.

Perfect space

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. The place is very nice and well equipped. Host is very good with communication, made sure everything was perfect when checked in. This is in beatenberg, about 25 minutes to Interlaken west. The bus station is very close to the flat, walk about 3-4 minutes. The bus runs every hour, so pretty convenient. Would stay again.

Everything from the time we arrived till the time we left was amazing. Ruth was so helpful with her instructions on how to find the place. Stunning views. House was perfect. We give it 10 stars! Considering moving to a place like Beatenburg it was that great!

Beatenberg was a great place to stop and chill. Quiet little village about 8k’s from Interlaken. Wonderful scenic views over Interlaken and lake Thun. Ruth was a great host and communicated promptly. Everything went very smoothly because of her communications. Well done Ruth!!

Das Berner Oberland ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert mit Bergtouren, Wanderungen an Seen und Flüssen und romantischen Städten wie Thun oder Spiez.Der Ort Beatenberg bietet dank seiner Höhenlage auch etwas Abkühlung an heißen Augusttagen und darüber hinaus einen herrlichen Ausblick auf das Alpenpanorama mit Eiger, Mönch, Junfrau und vielen weiteren Gipfeln.

Ruhige Lage, sehr sauber

Gemütlich eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit guter Küchenausstattung, Balkon mit schöner Aussicht, gute Matratze. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieterin, Ruth Jauch, ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Great stay in Beatenberg

We had a wonderful stay in Ruth’s flat in Beatenburg. The flat was well equipped, clean, quiet, the bed very comfortable and the views from the balcony were just stunning. There is a garage available if travelling by car which was a very nice bonus. Beatenberg is approx. 10-15min drive from Interlaken so everything we wanted to visit during our 12-day stay was in close proximity. Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Gimmelwald etc. We would definitely stay there again if we come to Switzerland again.

Comfortable flat for two in a Swiss chalet t

Beatenberg is a lovely place to visit if you like walking in the mountains and want to enjoy the stunning views. It's 15 minutes by (free) bus to Interlaken West. The flat has a balcony with evening sun, overlooking a beautiful hillside with trees and although there are a few chalets together it feels very private. Walking trails start near the chalet and the busstop is only a few minutes away. It's very manageable if you don't come by car.

Great Apartment

I was working in Steffisburg for 3 weeks. The apartment has a great layout, the kitchen is a good size and the bed is comfortable. Ruth set the TV up so when I turned it on it went to the BBC stations (English TV) that was very helpful. Also the WIFI (WLAN) is fast and reliable. Beatenburg is a wonderful little village and easy to get to Interlaken. Also the Gasthaus Regina is just a very short walk and has great food.

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist ruhig gelegen, komfortabel eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auch der Balkon ist super. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und auf alles Wichtige hingewiesen. Von der Wohnung aus lassen sich alle lohnenswerten Ziele in der Umgebung gut erreichen.

We loved our stay in Beatenberg

The apartment was easy to find and very clean, it had everything we needed for our stay in Waldegg Beatenberg. The underground garage to store the car was a bonus. The bed was big and comfortable, TV and Wifi easy to use. lovely veranda looking out over the fields and the hills. It was an ideal base to explore the surrounding lakes and mountains by car, however if we didn't feel like driving we really enjoyed the walks from the apartment and the free bus along Beatenberg and down into Interlaken. We took the cable car up to the Niederhorn and walked back to our apartment. We enjoyed stopping at the cafe's and for a beer and something to eat at Chilche Pintli, Hotel Regina,and especially the set menu in Hotel Beausite which had the best view of the Eiger the Monch and the Jungfrau. The grocery store and the Tourist information in Beatenberg were also very helpful.

Wunderschönes Appartement in traumhafter Umgebung

Beatenberg ist wunderschön, man kann wandern und viel unternehmen. Traumhafte Aussicht auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau. Das Appartment war super und es war alles da. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr

Location bon marché et très bien située

Grand studio très spacieux, très propre et très bien équipé. Il est situé à l'entrée de Beatenberg soit à seulement 10 minutes en voiture du centre d'Interlaken. On est ainsi au calme en pleine montagne et on peut rapidement redescendre sur Interlaken pour le shopping ou accéder aux trains de la Jungfrau pour monter faire des randonnées dans les magnifiques glaciers et montagnes environnantes.
