About this property
Oceanfront 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath with Community Pool
2025 Notice: The owners of Sea Lilly have recently renovated the interior and replaced the furniture and bedding. The photos and tours are up to date.
Sea Lilly, located in the Portofino I community, is a four-bedroom, three-bath oceanfront beach house located 0.9 miles north of Garden City Pier. This home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel Frigidaire appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher, a washer, a dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Five TVs (42-inch Insignia in the living room, Insignia, and Emerson in bedrooms), a DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king, three queen, and two twin-sized beds. Two of the four bedrooms are oceanfront. Outdoor amenities include two covered oceanfront porches, a picnic table, a charcoal grill, a community pool, and an outside shower. The pool is heated between the third Saturday in March through the last Sunday in May and the last Saturday in September through the Monday following Thanksgiving. Sea Lily is an oceanfront home but does not have complete 180° ocean views. A home to the right of the property blocks ocean views on that side of the house. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 10
The images and tours are provided to show the property's layout. Items, including furniture, décor, accessories, and bedding, may not be an exact representation. Additionally, Garden City Realty does not ensure these items are available as shown. This property may have video, audio, or similar exterior surveillance equipment.
Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.
If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.
Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.
Whatever your desire, whatever your need, the Grand Strand offers something on everyone's to-do list.
