A Much-Needed Escape

We spent a wonderful week on North Topsail Beach and this house was just perfect for our stay! It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything that we needed to host our family and friends. We would highly recommend this property!

Great Family Getaway!

Stories By The Sea is a great property. Situated right in the beach, it is beautifully decorated and offers stunning views. The house is well appointed and EVERYTHING is labeled for your convenience. We had a wonderful time and hope to return next year.

We had an amazing stay here for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen of any rental we've ever been in. There was nothing missing that we needed and we needed a lot for Thanksgiving. The host left a sweet welcome gift and introduced us to an amazing local boutique. Location was perfect, walking the beach, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Hot tub was a great perk for the cooler weather.

Wonderful location

It was our first time at topsail! Wonderful house and location. We enjoyed our stay very much and realllllly appreciated the added surprise of built in baby gates.

A wonderful week at Topsail Beach!

A perfect house right on the beach, and the property manager was very responsive. The views are wonderful, and the owners even gave us a gift certificate to a local chocolate shop! We truly enjoyed our week.

The BEST house with the best views!

Stunning home. Best location. Being right on the beach was incredible. Plenty of room for our 3 families and all the kids. We absolutely loved this house.

The house was wonderful. Great views. Clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans and appliances. Beach chairs and boogie boards also provided. The starter pack of paper towels, soap and tp was great. Gift card for candy was a nice surprise. The only drawbacks were we had to clean the grill and clean food debris out of bottom of dishwasher. Prior to arrival saturday was notified that hot tub was not working but they would fix it when they received the parts. Was fixed Tuesday but unfortunately quit working after 1 day. Manager was very prompt with replying and coming to check it. Overall it was a great family vacation house and would definitely recommend it and rent it again.

Spring break trip

Group of friends headed to the beach for spring break. This house was lovely, clean, had great beach decorations, and lots of space. Being right on the beach provided amazing views of sunrises, dolphins, and pelicans flying by.

We enjoyed our stay here! The house I was really clean and organized. It has everything you need for the beach, chairs cooler bags, boogie boards,etc. Right on the ocean with such a beautiful view!! We will definitely be back!!

As a family who enjoys to cook and have meals together at the beach, this is the house for you!Stories by the Sea is one of the most well-stocked homes in terms of kitchen utensils, gadgets, pots, and pans. We successfully cooked breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for 12 in this house without needing to bring in anything additional (we regularly travel with pots, pans, and knives due to previous houses severely lacking basic kitchen needs). Not only was the kitchen well-stocked, but the house had beach gear available for use too - chairs, games, etc. The location on Topsail is convenient to Surf City and local gems like Andrews Produce, Topsail Steamer, and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. Being right on the beach with an accessible boardwalk made it easy for family members to come and go as they pleased. The water hose ensured we were not tracking in a lot of sand into the house. The house is a duplex but we did not hear our neighbors at all. Stories by the Sea was comfortable. Clean sheets and bath towels were provided upon arrival and bedrooms and shared spaces had been recently cleaned. Ample parking was available. This is a house we will definitely rebook!

Christmas 2020

Very nice, enjoyed morning hot tub soaks before enjoying the beach and ocean. Great location close to restaurants and grocery stores. Plenty of space for family gatherings. Will be visiting again soon.

We could not have loved Stories By The Sea more!

The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable for our party of 7. The kitchen was very well-appointed, it had everything you'd need and more. The hot tub was fabulous, the beach was perfection... we loved everything about this trip. So much so that we are already planning to book it again for next year. Can't wait to be back!!!

Awesome week at Stories by the Sea

This property is superbly stocked with everything you would want. Some of us flew, so beach chairs (not even rusted!) were a plus plus. Linens, beds, dishes, appliances were all appreciated. There was pickleball played, walks taken, many beach cocktails enjoyed, all from this great location.

Property was beautiful, weather perfect. This house had everything we could have wanted in space and amenities plus the kitchen was well stocked. We liked seeing the owners pictures and reading their stories. Checking in was so easy and Bob is very accessible, helpful and friendly.The only thing we wished for was our own access to the beach. Sharing the walkway was okay but our decks were not as private as we would have liked with the arrangement.We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Our 509 family at sea!

Perfect weather, beautiful sunrise, super clean beach all 10 of us loved the house! It was so nice to have all 10 of us were able to sit together and enjoy our dinner at one table. As group we need less steps, after all we all are retired senior citizens, we did it. We will look for elevators for our future trips. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home . It was a week we all enjoyed so much, we had fun!

relax and unwind

We all enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. The canopy tent was a lifesaver for our long days on the beach, as were the beach chairs> the house had everything we could ask for except a pizza pan(lol)We had a great time collecting shells, walking on beach, soaking in hot tub and playing games. We survived the tropical storm that hit on our second day there. We ohioans dont see rain like that! the rest of the week was great weather and we even saw the dolphins a couple different times. Would certainly stay at this location again. A big thank you for the chocolates, they were delicious!
