All knotty pine with great views of Lake Superior from this cute four season home located on a very peaceful and private setting. This wonderful home has appliances, beds, furniture, deck furniture, furnace and super deck. Everything you need for the best in restful vacations.

A beautiful lake stone wood fireplace adorns the vaulted living room with breath taking views of the lake.

We are a pet friendly property with plenty of trails near by to get you and Fido some great exercise. See the great waterfalls at Cascade Beach State Park only a mile or so away.

Located on Cascade Beach Road....Only 8 miles from Lutsen Mountain!

We’ve stayed at this cabin multiple times and always enjoy it. It’s quiet, secluded, and has an amazing view of the waves crashing on the rocks. A perfect place to recharge and enjoy some peace and quiet.

We loved the cabin and location. Just as pictured in the VRBO ad. Extremely clean and well furnished. Beautiful views of Lake Superior from picture windows. Very centrally located to many state parks on the North Shore. Would definitely stay there again and again.

This was our fourth visit. We cannot say enough about the beauty of the location- right on Lake Superior. The cabin is charming and has everything we needed for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. This place is a family favorite.The hosts are always responsive but this trip they demonstrated how seriously they take service. Doe to storms we lost power. Our host kept in contact with the utility company and texted us status so we could conserve battery power on our phones. She told us were candles were and was helpful over all and cheerfully so. Then we discovered a tree down across the drive. Our host contacted a party who sawed up the tree the very next morning which was Thanksgiving. She made our stay anxiety free. We are already planning our next visit before our son leaves for college. Our family refers to this cabin as “the super cabin”

Perfect getaway on north shore

We stayed for second year and have a great time! Cabin is clean and nicely organized. The view is gorgeous and peaceful. We saw a lot of wildlife on trails and had a nice meal in local restaurants. Highly recommended! Oh, and our dogs like it too :-)

Tranquil and Comfortable

The property is in a lovely, peaceful location, with easy access to area parks and Grand Marais. We stayed 4 days and it felt like being at home. Comfy furniture and beds, good kitchen set-up, and plenty of space. Love the fireplace and how nicely it is set up for guest use. I highly recommend this home!

Great cabin on Lake Superior shore

We had an excellent stay at Superior Solitude. Very private cabin, can't see the neighbors, which we loved. Convenient location between Lutsen and Grand Marais, lots of hiking and outdoor activities nearby. Spotlessly clean.

Solitude and Rejuvenation

Beautiful cabin and very private property. The views of the shoreline from the cabin brought the outdoors to the coziness of a warm fireplace. Perfect for a fall getaway. We look forward to returning.

Superior Solitude

Superb cabin. Fantastic Lake Superior views in a very quiet and secluded environment. The cabin is very well stocked and very clean and comfortable . Gorgeous fireplace ! Lots of places to go snowshoeing, skiing, shopping. We come up to the north shore every winter and this is the best place we’ve stayed at.
