Enjoy this cozy cottage. 2bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home which sleeps a total of 6 guests. Additional sleeping space for guests in the nearby bungalow (Please note that bungalow does not have running water/bathroom facilities attached so guests would need to use the main cottage for such purposes.) There is an additional cost for use of the bungalow space, be sure to inquire about that at time of booking.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BUNGALOW SPACE IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING THE COLDER MONTHS OF OCTOBER THROUGH APRIL.

This waterfront property has a comfortable cottage feel to it and offers easy access to the shoreline of the North Shore's prize feature...Lake Superior. Conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown Grand Marais, you'll love the proximity to shopping, restaurant/bars and local events like live music, festivals and food.

Not only does this waterfront cottage offer immediate access to the "Big Lake" but the Devil Track River is within walking distance, too.

Kitchen was fully equipped, living area very cozy and comfy, lots of space, beds and baths were very nice and clean. Appreciate the RO system for drinking water. Lovely Lakeshore views. All good!

We loved our stay! The host Kristine is great. This property is inviting, warm, cozy & only 5 minutes away from downtown Grand Marais. We spent our first thanksgiving away from our families for our last vacation and holiday with our dog, as he was recently diagnosed with cancer. The house has everything you’ll need for a nice dinner, fire, and game night. We hope this place will feel like a second home to you as it has for us.

We loved the location of this beautiful property! Only four miles outside of Grand Marais so east access to restaurants and shopping. The close proximity to the shore ensured the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks. The house is nicely splinted with everything you need. We’ll be back!

Perfect, once again

We have stayed here a number of times, and seriously, it just can’t be beat. Eating dinner on the patio, watching the waves, is the most peaceful way to spend an evening.

The house was very clean and comfortable. It had all the comforts of home. Being directly on the lake watching the sunrises and the waves was so very good for the soul. The house is a great location, close to Grand Marias, The Gunflint Trail, and breathtaking state parks. We hiked the High Falls in Grand Portage State Park and Devils Kettle in Judge Magney State Park. We have been coming to the North Shore for more than 40 years and this home has been the best thus far. Thank you for sharing with others a piece of paradise ! Flo

Peaceful Getaway!

We have stayed here 4 times and it is always very clean, which I appreciate. The lake comes into the house through all those beautiful windows. It has everything one needs to decompress and enjoy your surroundings.

A little bit of paradise

Awesome location and beautiful home just north of Grand Marais. We enjoyed watching the baby megensers run across the water! We always end up further north each year we go, so it was great to find a place just north of GM.. Getting up to Grand Portage State park was also worth it. We emjoyed our stay and thank you for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy your home.

The Natural Beauty of Lake Superior Plus All the Comforts of Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our six day stay at this VRBO. It is in a great location, convenient to multiple beautiful natural sites and just a short drive from the restaurants and shops of downtown Grand Marais. The house was very clean. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which has everything you could want to cook up a nice meal; the high quality mattresses; the comfortable living room furniture; and the small “extras” like the cozy little lap blankets.

Great location, view, place to stay

We did a few nights there. Very nice being only five minutes from grandma Marie, and a great view for having a bonfire in the evenings. We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect in every way!!! Just a few minutes from beautiful downtown Grand Marais. Very clean and inviting from the minute you walk in the door. Check in was very easy. Location right on Lake Superior was superb!! Beautiful views!! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property on a beautiful lake

We stayed with our daughter, son-in-law and their two little girls. The cabin is immaculate and the space is utilized very well. The distance to Grand Marais was nice, just a little bit out of town. The setting was stunning, right on Lake Superior. We would stay again!
