Lake Michigan Private Beach Access

Beautiful Lake Michigan beach home! Three bedrooms with a large bunk room with game table. Large deck attached to the home. Beautiful views. So many options around the area to complete your vacation. Farm Markets, fishing, wineries, petting farm and large sand dunes at Silver Lake. Playground area just a block north.

A community beach with fire pits (no fires at the home).

Also a golf course just down the road and Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park just a short drive

So many things to do at the cottage and in surrounding areas, there is something for everyone and all ages.

Due to the force of Mother Nature, ease of access to the beach through the sand will change week to week.

Great family vacation!

House was comfortable for our family of 5. Kids had their own space in the basement with air hockey. Beach was beautiful. Great location - close to Michigan Adventure, Silver Lake, and golf course. Made for a perfect family vacation!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the private access to the beach. We so appreciated their dog friendly property and found the house to be clean, well stocked in amenities and for our cooking needs. Beds and living area were very comfy. The neighborhood was quiet and only 30 minutes from nearby towns with stores/conveniences. We would definitely stay again!

This was our second time staying here and it was just as perfect as before. The kitchen and bathroom have been redone, and are beautiful! Perfect for our family and fur babies! Working with Kelly is a dream!

we had a fabulous stay. the house is beautiful and immaculately clean. the location is perfect - right on the lake, on a quiet, gorgeous beach. amazing sunsets! the walk to the beach is short, but about 10-15 feet is steep, sandy dune (a bit difficult for anyone with mobility issues - but the public beach is only 2 properties away and has a staircase, which is very convenient!) check-in was easy-peasy. the kitchen had everything we needed (including things we brought "just in case"). there were only three easy-to-carry beach chairs, so if you have a large party, consider bringing some extras. overall, we loved our stay and hope to return!

Another great stay

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great! We really appreciate finding a place that welcomes our dog too. He had a fabulous time playing on the beach with us! We loved making use of the campfire pit on the beach as the sun went down.

Great Week!

Lovely location-Lake Michigan was roughly 100 yds away from the cottage. We could see the lake from the deck. The beach was quite private. We enjoyed watching the sunsets at the beach! The cottage was clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay!

Two weeks on Lake Michigan!

Great house, 10/10 beach with shallow sand bars for the kids. Kelly the owner is responsive and a good host. I would definitely recommend this rental and expect to return in the future. Great summer vacation spot!

Wonderful stay!

This was our second year at this property. We love it there. Communication with Kelly was easy and she responded quickly to all our messages. For the second year in a row the stairs to the lake were buried and that made it difficult for some of us to get up and down the dune. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Wonderful Week at Lake Michigan

This was our second year in a row renting this house for a week. The location and private beach is amazing! Beautiful sunsets and beach is so wonderful! The house comfortably slept our group of 4 adults and 5 kids, everything we needed to cook meals at the house. The wifi at the house worked well. We also loved getting ice cream and pizza from StonyLake Market and rented a boat at Silver Lake for a day. Great location to make lots of family memories!

Most amazing stay!!!

We stayed at the house for my daughter's wedding at Heritage Wedding Barn, excellant location, 12 minutes away, only 10 minutes from the dunes, excellant view of Lake Michigan. Nicely stocked with sheets, blankets, towels, pot, pans, dishes and any utensil you may need, we brought our own things just in case and never opened our boxes, My grandkids came for Sunday after the wedding, lots of toys and games to enterain all ages.

Nice week at the beach!

The location of this property is amazing. It is a beachfront property with a 20 yard walk down a path to the top of the dune. Cottage is in a quiet neighborhood of vacation houses. It is very comfortable with good air conditioning which usually is not needed because the wind usually blows off Lake Michigan. There are a number of excellent golf courses within driving distance along with small summer-centric towns for restaurants, ice cream and walking.

Amazing family vacation!

We had an amazing week at beauty and the beach! The house was cleaned so well when we arrived and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The beach was incredible and the weather was wonderful all week. We were able to have family dinners every night with ample seating. My family has visited Michigan many times and this year we were able to introduce new people and having this house enhanced their first experience on Lake Michigan. Overall, it’s a trip we will remember forever!

Gorgeous Slice of Heaven

We had a wonderful time. The house was well stocked, clean, comfortable and fit 7 of us perfectly. The kids (teens) enjoyed having the lower level all to themselves. The lake is truly magical, sunsets breathtaking, and what a treat to just walk to the lake right from the back patio. We rented paddleboards and spent so much time on the lake playing every day. You wont be sorry booking this beautiful place!

Great time, our child's first visit to the beach!

We had a wonderful time, plenty of space for the 5 to 6 of us. The rooms were very clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Great view of Lake Michigan from the main floor. Basement is a kids play place! Foosball, air hockey, and TV. The beach was sandy and just a short walk. Many memories were made.

Beauty on the Beach!

Almost any accommodation right on Lake Michigan has strong points, but this cottage hits all the high points. Roomy, very good looking and comfortable, even AC! Easy to get to a premier, deserted beach. Our host, Kelly, was amazingly responsive and kind. I enjoyed feeling like I knew her. Thank you, Kelly!

This was a great place for us. the layout worked well. We had a 2, 5 and 8 yr old. very spacious 1st floor for eating, watching TV, and doing arts and crafts and games. There was an extra table just perfect for that. The kids slept downstairs which worked well in the single beds and they loved the air hocky! The private beach was beautiful,,hardly saw anyone until Friday. Lake MI was warm for swimming..but lots of algae, however, the kids didn't mind, even though it was in their bathing suits! We also saw a lot of dead fish on the beach as we walked, which was weird..but towards the end of the week they were gone. Only drawback is there is no grass area to speak of for kids to play outside or for the dog, but we managed and could walk the dog for his business. i would definitely come back! Oh and it was very easy to walk to the beach, just a small bluff.
