Great home for large family or multiple families. Warm and cozy just minutes from the slopes. Brand new boot room with 10 cubbies and room for 10 skiis/snowboards. Enter into spacious living room with wood burning fireplace (plenty of wood provided). Dining area with large table opens to kitchen. Washer and dryer are on this floor for your convenience.

Upper Level has two bedrooms (one queen and one twin with trundle) and newly updated hall bath and a large master bedroom (king bed) and updated master bath. Lower level has three bedrooms (one queen, one full and oversized bunk room - bunk bed and one full - with TV and cable) and an updated hall bath. Charming and comfortable in a great location.

Location is unbeatable. Maryellen’s place has everything you need for a big group trip to Stratton. Moreover, she was very helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process.

Great home, great location, great host!

If you want to stay nearly on mountain at Stratton, but don't want to pay resort prices, this is a GREAT option. Less than 2 miles from the mountain, it was a great spot for our group of 10. The living room, kitchen and dining area were great for a large group hangout and getting meals ready. We loved the fireplace and there was plenty of wood, supplied by the owners. The kitchen was well stocked with mugs, plates, silverware and stuff with which to cook. We've stayed at places in which everyone couldn't have coffee at the same time! There were plenty of beds for us and the master bedroom, where my wife and I stayed, was VERY comfortable, with its own bathroom. We went back to the mountain for dinner one night and there were also a few trips to Manchester during the week for groceries and wandering. The Italian Marketplace was a great spot and provided one of our dinners! The house is obviously not the most updated or luxurious, but that's not what family ski vacations are about for us. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location, price and accomodations were just what we wanted. Maryellen, the owners was prompt and pro-active. She gave us some tips on the mountain and the area as well as odds and ends at the home itself.

Condo convenient to mountain

Very "home-ey" condo (tons of personal photos all over make no mistake you are in the Johnston family place) very well appointed, comfortable and nicely located only 2 miles from Stratton base. Excellent communication from Maryellen. Worth noting that while they have smart TV's with streaming apps, they dont actually have 'basic cable' so if you want to watch the game bring your laptop and stream it using your own cable service or you are out of luck. They also have a very nice bunk bed room downstairs which is not pictured on VRBO which would be ideal for kids.

Convenient Access Rd Location

This is a very convenient location to Stratton mountain. It’s under 2 miles to the drop off/pick up line at the mountain. Aside from the master, the bedrooms are a bit small but they were all cozy with nice linens. There is a large family room with plenty of seating and a nice fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pans and serving pieces. There weren’t many overhead lights in the house so it did feel a bit dark but it wouldn’t deter me from renting again by any means. The owner was lovely and very responsive.

Nice cozy town house right on Stratton mtn access road Comfortable upstairs family room w a big couch and a nice fireplace. Owner was very responsive to questions and everything was in good working order. We had 10 guests and there was plenty of rooms for sleeping. Very good experience.

Incredible experience at Stratton!

Thank you to the Johnston's for allowing our group to stay at the house for the long weekend. It was a wonderful experience, the hosts were easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions. The house easily fits 12 ( and could easily fit 14) with three levels and a huge living room space. Stratton is a 5 minute drive from the house- very convenient. Stocked with everything you need- we really enjoyed our stay.

Great place for a large group!

This house is in a great location for Stratton (just a couple miles down the access road) and perfect for a big group. There are 4 bedrooms with queen or double beds, another bedroom with two twins, and another room with 4 bunked beds. The living room has a great fire place with wood provided, and an open kitchen perfect for hanging out. Thanks - we had a great time!
