Z Cabin is located west of Ft Worth (about one hour drive) on beautiful Lake Palo Pinto. The cabin is waterfront and is steps away from boating, swimming, and fishing.

There is a fully furnished kitchen and beds to sleep 6 (temporary beds are available for two additional guests; please request in advance).

The front porch offers unobstructed views of the lake and two 'country' swings for relaxing or watching lake activities or evening sunsets.

Guests can bring their boat and keep it in the private dock during their stay.

A grill is located near the porch for outdoor cooking. A fire pit is located near the water for roasting hot dogs or making s’mores or just enjoying the evening around the 🔥.

The closest town is Santo (7 miles) which hosts a small General Store for groceries, gas and bait. This store is not open on Sundays. A convenience store in Santo is open 7 days a week. It has limited groceries and gas.

Please note that cell phone reception is limited in this rural area. WiFi is available once you are on the property. TV service is provided via several streaming packages.

Our family enjoyed gathering and celebrating our Grandson’s Birthday. Granma and Papi had all 5 grandboys and it was perfect! Very clean, all the necessities and every game you can think! We will absolutely be booking again!

Extra room for Christmas

We had a great stay at Cabin Z. It was just a short drive to my parents and the cabin had everything we needed. The decor was warm and we enjoyed our stay.

Great lake property

The Z cabin on Palo Pinto lake was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable! A beautiful log cabin with plenty of space.

Great hidden getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We even caught a good thunderstorm and the front porch and porch swings were awesome to sit and watch it go by. Very peaceful.

Clean quiet beautiful views. Fishing right off dock or bring your boat. Lake is not crowded. Cabin has 4 beds. Loved it.

The cabin was really nice and had everything we needed. The only con is that there were sticker/grass burs everywhere. The lawn was mowed and short but they got all over my dogs fur and paws every time they went outside so I had to brush them every single time they went out. Not sure what can really be done about that, but I just want to make pet owners aware that could be an issue depending what time of the year you go. Other than that, everything was great!

Adorable cabin

The cabin was absolutely adorable and better than expected! Boat dock was perfect for our boat and for swimming off of. Owner is a very nice lady who communicates well. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend getaway

My family was able to spend the weekend at this site. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed fishing, cooking and eating together - played games and able to get away from the hustle of life. The serene atmosphere is just what we needed. Great WiFi was a plus though we spend most of our time outdoors -

Enjoyable Get Away

My Husband and I had a great time at this cabin on the lake. He spent the time fishing and I sat on the porch swing and enjoyed the view of the lake and the surrounding hills. The cabin was comfy and gave us a nice home away from home. We definitely would like to come back for another visit!

Great area

We loved the area. Quiet waterfront log cabin. Nice porch and yard. Great boat dock for fishing and easy access to launch kayaks. Very nice bathroom downstairs, none upstairs but that worked just fine for us.

Stayed 4 days. Well maintained. Exactly as advertised, rustic cabin. Not 5 star hotel, but clean and comfortable. Ive stayed here before. Fishing was better last time, but I caught something evetyday. Quiet and relaxing 99% of the time. Well worth the price.

Cozy, Family friendly, Great Lake location

We had the best weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and cozy, with a great porch facing the lake. Very nice spot on the lake where we caught really nice fish, and swim with our 6 year old twins right off of the dock. Our host and her granddaughter helped make our daughter’s weekend wonderful! Definitely a lake rental worth booking.
