We enjoyed our stay very much. Unfortunately the sargassum took over but we know that was out of their control. It was the perfect time of year for us. Slow season. The dining recommendations were on point! The pool made up for the inability to get in the water from the beach.If I had anything negative to say it would be, maybe consider getting rid of futon and putting some more comfortable sitting chairs. We like sitting up late and a recliner or sitting chair would be the ticket. But really, if that is all I can think of negative I think thay speaks for itself. We appreciate the privacy, but the ease of getting in touch with the owners and manager. Lucas was great! If we ever return to Belize we 100% would stay here again!

The casita was perfect! The hosts were unbelievably responsive to all inquiries and requests. Pablo was so great to have around the property and made us feel catered to with fresh coconuts to drink. The beach and palapa were amazing!

A piece of heaven!!! Private, well maintained property, kitchen is very well stocked. Cute property. Private clean beach to swim in, or you can dip in the private pool solely for the casita. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Brad responded quickly to all messages I sent him.We can't wait to stay here again!

Perfect spot

What a great little spot to stay. The house was furnished nicely and super clean. The plunge pool is also nice to have and clean. Unfortunately the seaweed was too bad to get in the ocean, but the view was worth it. Privacy isn’t an issue. We will be back.

Just to share a bit of info: sargassum is a type of seaweed that shows up in the Caribbean from time to time. It’s completely natural and part of the ocean ecosystem, but it’s also really unpredictable. Some days the water is totally clear, and other times it can roll in without much warning. Unfortunately, it’s something that no beachfront property can control. We always do our best to keep the area clean and enjoyable, and we hope the rest of your trip was still relaxing. Perfect property

We just came home after staying for two weeks. This was the perfect little beach house for us - very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. The Casita, white sand beach, plunge pool and dock make this place a perfect little paradise. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Brad and Lucas!

Lovely Cassida on the beach!

The property was very nicely finished and presented just as advertised. Lucas met us at the home and graciously offered any assistance we needed getting settled in. It is a perfect property for a couple’s get-away.

Tropical Getaway

The private location right on the beach is great spot for a couples getaway. The bungalow is beautiful, the palapa on the pier totally relaxing, and the pool hit the spot. Lucas, on-site property manager, was friendly and helpful. Quick to reply to texts. Overall awesome stay

Relaxation and fun

La Vida casita was just the perfect size for my wife and I. We really enjoyed having the kayaks and snorkel equipment available. Also we really enjoyed the Segway scooters. What a nice way to get around town! Thanks for sharing your place with us

Nice secluded slice of beach!Absolutely loved the pool on the deck, which was bigger than it seems in the pictures! We visited during the first week of March, with winds coming in from the NE, so the beach wasn’t nice to swim in. Tons of seaweed washed up on the beach, and the water was super warm and very brown so you couldn’t see the bottom. I imagine it clears up when the winds come from a different direction, but we didn’t hangout much at the beach much during our stay. Saw some cool birds, lots of pelicans, and watch out for coatis on the road in!The place had everything we needed, A/C, fans, nice shower, comfy bed, blender for pina coladas! The palapa at the end of the dock was often windy but super nice to lounge on the hammock and feel the warm breeze. The casita is located about 20min north of Placencia, which was nice and quiet. Lots of delicious food options within 10-20 minutes. We loved the breakfast at Maya Beach Resort, so delicious.

Beautiful Property

My wife and I spent a few days at La Vida and loved every bit of our stay. We were recovering after a week with a group of 12 at another property in the area. The home is in a quiet and beautiful area. We rode the beach bikes everyday down to grab dinner. They were very accommodating and easy to work with when our travel plans changed a bit.

Warm Hospitality, Perfect House, Beautiful Beach

This property will not disappoint! The casita and grounds are even more beautiful in person, and Dane and Kellie are a great resource—your personal concierges to the Caribbean. The casita is only a short drive from Placencia Village in one direction and Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary in the other. We had a fantastic time eating at nearby restaurants, catching permit and bonefish, hiking in the jungle, swimming under waterfalls... This is the perfect location for a Belize adventure!

Absolute paradise!

La Vida Belize is an incredible property and is just as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. Waking up every morning to the sunrise over the Caribbean right outside the front door was like a dream. Brad and Lucas were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we were having the best vacation possible. The location is about 30 minutes from Placencia Village, but we still went there frequently. It is very close to some great spots in Maya Beach. I would highly recommend this property, we can’t wait to visit again someday!

Perfection!

This place is exactly as it is pictured! If you are considering booking, quit thinking about it and do it! You won't regret it. We loved everything about the Casita and the grounds. My favorite spot was floating in the pool with a view of the beach. We also enjoyed evenings on the dock. It was so peaceful and relaxing, we did not want to leave. Lucas is an amazing host. He always took time to visit with us and answer any questions we had. I can't wait to go again.

Peaceful beach retreat!

We had a wonderful stay, just wish it was for longer. Lucas was there to great us and we saw him throughout our stay. He gave us recommendations on restaurants and places to explore. The pool was amazing to cool off and relax in. We had a rental car and recommend that over a golf cart to get down to Placencia. It is not down by the hustle and bustle. It was nice to be able to wake up to and come back to a quiet place after the days of exploring. There is a pier with loungers and chairs, which I believe is not shown in the listing and must be newer. Would absolutely stay here again!
