Short trip with family

Nice modern look, quiet beach day and ample space to relax. We didn't get to the outdoor pool, but it was still filled and guarded.

Loved the view and able to hear the ocean. My husband is disabled, we didn’t get to the beach but had a lot of pool time. The chair lift was essential and the lifeguards were so helpful, encouraging and attentive! The condo was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay! The balcony and view from the master bedroom are beautiful. The space was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only suggestion is to add a regular coffee maker. We would stay in this unit again.

Excellent location, private beach

Excellent location. Private beach. We stayed for 1 week family of 4 . Place is so comfortable that it felt like we moved the ocean in front of our home and never left home. This apartment has everything. Kitchen is fully equipped. Landry machine is free. Place has ocean and pool view. We had the best time and we will come back .

Very clean and comfortable

My first impression was this unit was very clean and updated. Things looked new and found everything in working order. Although I didn't really have to use any appliances, they looked new. Just a few minor things like 2 light bulbs and pointed out a few minor spots on comforter. I really felt comfortable being there. I would definitely recommend it to others or stay there again myself.

Beware

Our unit in Georgetowne house should be taken off the market. Water backed up in tub and sink, dishwasher broken, bugs in the beds. And no one would come to fix things. Enough said.

Thank you for taking the time to review your July visit. We sincerely apologize for the problems you experienced. We had a call into an appliance company to repair the dishwasher but due to Covid, their response time was slower than normal. We also received a report from you that the dryer door would not close and we came over to troubleshoot the same day and found the lint filter in backwards. Once changed, the dryer door did close properly. None of the other issues you list in your review was ever reported to us or we would have happily addressed them in a timely manner. The comfort and satisfaction of our guests is very important to us.

The devil's in the details

Rental process was very confusing because there were 2 agencies involved and that was not clear up front. This included getting 2 separate bills, from 2 separate companies which added to the confusion. One shower was missing shower door and drain cover and 2nd shower door was missing and shower curtain not hung properly. Washing machine leaked a lot with each use. View was amazing, access to beach, pool and parking were perfect. This unit has a very comfortable sofa and the chairs were very comfortable as well.

Needs updating

The washer vibrates to the point that it moves into the hallway, sounds like it’s going to shake the dryer right off the top of it. The carpets look old and dirty in the living room area. The master bedroom is so bright in the morning you can’t sleep past 6am. The shower door in the master bedroom shattered when I closed it and I cut my feet and my son got injured as well. Vacasa helped as much as they could but honestly the unit needs a refresher. It’s not a good representative of what seacolony has to offer.

3rd floor condo - summary

Dishwasher broken - management knew it and omitted to tell us, the part was ordered a week before we arrived and never made it Ice maker - was not working when we arrived - we had to clean it out and defrost it to make it work 3 out of 4 TV (in bedrooms) don’t really work - the picture is distorted most of the time. Leaving room TV - is stuck on one channel but most of the time there is no signal - called for assistance the guy came - apologized but could not fix it WiFi is VERY slow Master bathroom - sink was clogged when we arrived - called for assistance - the guy came and fixed it Other bathroom - toilet when flushed makes a sound and vibration for a while that can be heard through out the apartment.

Beautiful View & Great Beach Access

My family of 4 stayed in this unit in Summer 2022. Overall we had a great time though there were a few minor hiccups. First, the good: beautiful views from the living room and master bedroom and great beach/pool access. It was nice to sit on the balcony in the evenings and watch the sunset. Being on the 3rd floor, access to the pool directly below and beach just a few steps further was wonderful. We could see from the unit when they were less crowded (generally morning and then early evening) and pick our times to go. Having 3 bedrooms also allowed us to spread out more easily than when we’ve rented 2-bedroom units. The negatives had more to do with maintenance and management. The shower in the master bathroom was supposed to have glass panels, but they had apparently been removed (perhaps for repair) and we found the glass panels under two of the beds. There was a cheap transparent shower curtain in place of the glass that was too long and bunched up on the floor. There was also no tub stopper for the other bathtub in the other bathroom and the lever didn’t work, so we had to plug the drain with a washcloth to give our kids baths. We contacted Vacasa about this, and they finally brought a tub stopper 3 days later. The washing machine leaked water into the hallway when we used it and we also notified Vacasa about that but they did not respond. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would stay here again, especially if these minor issues were fixed.

A view to behold.

Good vacation spot!

We enjoyed the excellent location and think this condo it is a fantastic spot for most people! However, we would not recommend this condo to those with young children due to wide openings on the balcony, loose glass shower door and tall/narrow furniture that is not anchored to the wall.

Nice space, could have been cleaner

It was nice to have three bedrooms, and right on the beach is perfect. Also the reserved parking space is ideal. Located right be an awesome pool too. However, when we checked in the room was not very well cleaned. There was dust everywhere, and just felt pretty grimy. Also, our dryer stopped working and we were unable to get that fixed, so that was very frustrating because our intention was to wash clothes while we stayed here. Also some caulking should be done to the master bathroom shower, and the shower door doesn't shut while you’re in the shower. If the owners upgraded the master queen to a king, and took care of some minor repairs, I think this would be a five star stay!

everything was awesome except when we first arrived at the property. It was not cleaned very well. We ended up cleaning it upon arrival. That is the only negative about the property. Awesome view, spacious, for a condo. Overall, would definitely stay there again

Great beach and location but...

Master bedroom needs room darkening shades as lights from pool kept me awake at night. Master bedroom bed was very, very uncomfortable. Neighbors had two dogs that were barking(luckily they weren’t there the entire week). Ice maker did not work. Sea Colony is a nice resort to stay at, but I wouldn’t rent this particular unit again.
