Overlook the surf and sand from the balcony of this eighth floor 3-bedroom, 2-bath oceanfront condo! Just steps to Sea Colony's half mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this resort retreat features a living and dining room, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and three bedrooms, including the master suite. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. Accessible without stairs. 3 TVs, 2 DVDs, Blu-ray, Wifi.

Great view!

The view of beach is stunning from this place! However, I will say this place is due for some upgrades like the kitchen and bathrooms. Also, if you don’t like firm beds, this place may not be for you! Very comfortable living room furniture!

Would not recommend

The rental pictures compared to the actual unit are extremely misleading. The unit was dirty upon arrival, vacasa came the next morning and “cleaned” the unit. The floors were filthy, even after being washed again. We re-washed the sheets and towels because they didn’t appear clean. The carpets are filthy in the bedrooms. The bottoms of our socks were black! The coffee machine was broken and they replaced it with a small coffee maker. The kitchen drawers were dirty- we went out and bought plastic silverware, plates and cups. The TV kept glitching and so we could not watch it. Overall, we would not recommend this unit to anyone. Sea Colony is a wonderful place for families, but recommend renting through a local company, not Vacasa.

Good experience

801 Georgetowne met our expectations. It is a bit dated but it was clean, had plenty of tvs and kitchen was well stocked with the necessities. Have a nice view of the ocean. We had two very minor issues and Vacasa staff health with them promptly. The property was good value for the money. The sea colony amenities were great.

Not great. Not terrible.

There were ants and sand in the condo. A folding door was off the hinges as was a cabinet door. Our sliding door didn’t lock. However, the location was great. Beds were not too bad and the kitchen had most of what we needed. The price as comparable to other condos we have stayed in before at sea colony. We love that the beach and pool are easily accessible as are many restaurants.

Family vacation

Wonderful as always. I have stayed at sea colony a few times, this wasn't the best "location" a little far from the elevator, but it was the most clean and well decorated. Also a bonus great cooking pans!

Great place!

Super nice view and cozy condo. Only complaints were not having any complimentary dish detergent or tide to use dish washer or washing machine. Also, 1 of the 2 indoor pools (the one within walking distance) had a broken heater. We had to pack up 3 kids and drive a mile to the other pool. Other than that, we had a great time!

Desperately Needs Updating

Kitchen is lacking in cookware, plates and cups. Glass on the tabletop was broken in several pieces when we arrived. Master bath toilet continuously ran. Had to stop it several times. Blankets were old and matted. Screen door was impossible to open and close. Recessed light covers were hanging and one fell off in the kitchen overnight. No mirrors except in the bathrooms. Found others wrapped and in the closets. Light bulbs missing in lamps. Kitchen cabinets were peeling. Not worth the price we were charged.

Great View!

We had a great time staying. Place was clean and great views of the beach with easy access. Close enough to walk to a few restaurants and close to downtown Bethany.

Great location, outdated amenities

The location of the unit, along with the parking space is great! The interior is due to be updated. One of the seats on the couch cushion was very worn and made you "sink" into the seat. The beds were closer to being a full size and NOT queen sized beds. The WiFi was very weak. In such a small unit, I was unable to get wifi in one of the front bedrooms at all. Shower heads were very weak. Lots of cobwebs and areas that need to be cleaned on the balcony. Overall, the home is suitable, however, would benefit from big update throughout the home. Location is great.

Great Location; could use some updating

Condo was a great location and had the basics. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom fans were noisy and should probably be replaced. In addition, the wifi was very weak (couldn't even handle basic zoom video calls).

Good Resort, Room just OK

The resort is nice. Plenty of pools, beach space, and convenient location. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the room however. Used Q-tips on the floor on arrival, discolored feet and socks from walking on the floor. It appears there was a very minimally quick effort to clean in-between guests and that led to us cleaning for the first few hours of our vacation.
