Better wait

First of all, the odour problem on the upper floor must be solved if more than four guests are to be accommodated. The kitchen needs to be thoroughly cleaned after decades and the cupboards (everywhere) need to be cleared out: better a little less, but functional. Most memories of grandad should be moved to a private room. Given the size of the house, the cleaning staff need enough time when there is a change of tenants. With its architecture and style of 70s, the house could be a jewel for larger groups - in the future.

A great place to stay. Close to beaches and in rural Normandy.

Spacious, ideal for family groups. Great bathrooms and showers and bidets. Lovely hot water. 4 bedrooms good. I attic room not yet suitable , musty smelling. General living areas great, kitchen good but updating of cupboards required. Confusion over what ingredients were available to use. Cooker and hobs excellent. Laundry room real asset, Wonderful drier and washing machine (we had need to use them as it did rain!) Grounds and garden fabulous. Not clear about bed linen package and the house could use some guidance as to how things worked or not and where spares might be. Lots of tourist lit but a general summary / guide to tell us about boulangeris , beaches, market days and eateries would have helped. Very useful guide given in last message about La chaumiere tangine and paella take away. A definite yes. Shame about flying ants, and occasional fumes from boiler house.

Excellent sejour dans cette grande maison

Super séjour, la maison est bien placée et la déco restée figée dans les années 70, ce qui lui donne un charme. Elle est très vaste, lumineuse, le terrain est très bien entretenu. Il faudrait changer la table du salon de jardin.

Très grande maison seventies

Maison de famille spacieuse et confortable très bien équipée avec belle terrasse et grand jardin.La déco est assez hétéroclite, globalement datée des années 70, c’est original et accueillant, c’est une maison familiale qui a une histoire.Bien située pour visiter la côte de Cayeux à Criel et la baie de Somme.

Haus nicht wie in der Beschreibung

Leider keine 5 Schlafräume, wie beschrieben.5. Schlafraum hat keine Heizung und stinkt nach Schimmel und muffig.Da wir nun vor Ort waren und nichts mehr an der Tatsache ändern konnten, mussten wir Betten umstellen und haben den Raum nicht benutzt.

Une grande maison de famille

Très grande maison confortable mais dans son "jus". Les lits en 140 seraient avantageusement remplacés par des 160.Le four est à bout de souffle et il serait profitable de réorganiser complètement les placards de la cuisine . Par ailleurs , l'installation électrique est obsolète .Nous avons été très bien accueilli, assisté et avons passé un excellent séjour au calme, dans une belle région .

Bon emplacement grandes chambres. Nombres de salles de bain suffisantes dont une où le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas! Sinon nous avons quand même passé un bon séjour

Nous ne sommes malheureusement pas un centre hôtelier et ne pouvions garantir une chambre individuelle pour tous. La maison dispose de 4 chambres individuelles comme décrit dans le descriptif (voir les photos de l annonce). Pour 10 personnes nous sommes contraints d utiliser le canape lit du petit salon ou le dortoir à l'étage. Je vous suggère pour vos prochaines réservations de ne pas hésiter a poser des questions si vous avez quelques doutes En vous souhaitant un bonne reprise Bien a vous Bernard Clere

Karaktervolle aangename woning dat weliswaar schreeuwt om wat onderhoud. Maar de sfeer van de woning en zijn grote tuin zijn zalig. Je hebt in de woning alles wat nodig is om te koken enz. Je moet wel de auto nemen om naar de mooie kust of badstadjes te gaan. Om mooie wandelingen te maken. Maar dit stoort niet. Grote afstanden zijn het niet. En onderweg doe je dan je boodschappen... Aanrader...

Retro huis

Bij aankomst waren wij toch wel een beetje teleurgesteld.De voordeur ging na een flinke duw (slepend) open en het huis moet ergens gebouwd zijn tussen 1960 - 1970. Bij nadere inspectie vonden wij het toch wel OK. Spijtig dat er eens niet opgekuist wordt. In de kasten hangen nog kleren van de eigenaars. In een kast ligt nog overvloedige medicatie en overal staat of ligt nog wel iets. Op het einde hadden wij wel een goed gevoel. Het is een huis mt een hart die je moet ontdekken.

Très bon week-end en famille en aie de Somme

La maison était parfaite pour accueillir une famille de 8 personnes, de 15 à 80 ans. Elle est bien équipée, confortable et spacieuse. ll est appréciable d'avoir autant de point d'eau (4). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les voisins présents à l'arrivée et au départ. Le seul bémol est que la maison n'est pas habitée en permanence et que même si elle est relativement propre, il y avait des araignées et des toiles d'araignées dans toutes les pièces.

L'intérieur de la maison était propre et la pelouse fraichement tondue. Le jardin est grand. Pas de problème pour garer les voitures.
