A peaceful retreat, walking distance to Cashiers Village Green

Old Willow Cottage is a charming modern farmhouse located less than one mile from the Cashiers Crossroads near High Hampton, tucked away in a private enclave of five cottages.

Old Willow Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a king size bed appointed with cozy and luxurious linens. The master bath is exquisitely finished with a large shower and heated marble floors that come in handy on those cold mountain mornings. The guest bedrooms are located upstairs, each with their own private bathroom and large closet. The second master suite has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The cottage is equipped with six Smart TVs, one located in each bedroom as well as the living room, bonus room, and the screened porch. This cottage features designer furnishings, hardwood floors, ten foot ceilings, and a beautiful stone fireplace with gas logs. The modern kitchen is nicely equipped and flows into the living and dining areas. The vaulted screened porch has a wood-burning fireplace complete with a gas/charcoal grill on the outside patio. The laundry room has a high efficiency washer and dryer with a utility sink. The carport protects you and your car from the weather and comes equipped with a charging outlet for those with an electric vehicle. Please inquire about children or pets.

"Casherz", as the locals call it, has something for the waterfall-chaser, day hiker, and nature enthusiast. This area is very popular for fly fishing with abundant trout streams nearby. This small village comes to life in the warmer months as visitors arrive to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer. The cottage is an ideal location to go on day trips to nearby towns. The quaint and popular town of Highlands is a short drive from the cottage. Other nearby towns to explore are Sapphire, Brevard, Sylva, Waynesville, and Bryson City. Each town has a charm all their own with hiking trails, shopping, and great restaurants. There is abundant wildlife including bears, deer, turkeys, and more. You might be lucky to get a glimpse of our famous white squirrels too.

Beautiful home close to everything. Excellent communication with Ed the owner. Well stocked with everything you need. I would highly recommend staying here. We can’t wait to make a return to the mountains and will hopefully have a chance to stay here again.

The house is absolutely charming. It is well equipped, very clean, perfect floor plan and goodLocation. We had to change our original arrival time and the owner was very flexible. Do yourself a favor and stay here on your next visit to Cashiers. You won't regret it.

Since selling our home in Cashiers in 2022 we have returned on numerous occasions to see old friends and visit some of our favorite restaurants. With every rental there have been plus's and minus's. This home has been nothing but plus, plus, plus. It is conveniently located in the heart of Cashiers, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished, The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the strong internet provided easy computer access and several TV options (which has been a problem in other rentals). The home was perfect for our stay. We will be planning our next trip based on this home's availability.

10/10What an incredible cottage!!! Might be the cleanest, coziest and most well-appointed place we’ve ever stayed. Super comfortable, warm and wonderful place to spend time in Cashiers. From the bedding, towels, heated floors, throws, fireplaces and incredible kitchen it’s the perfect getaway in the mountains. Thanks for a lovely visit… we’ll be back for sure.

We had a great stay. The home is very nice and feels brand new. The host was generous with leaving coffee, toiletries, etc. Great location. Easy instructions. I can't think of anything that could have been better.

Everything about this cottage was perfect! The condition is pristine; absolutely beautiful and spotless. Convenient location and well stocked with every supply you could ever need. We enjoyed making fires on the screened-in porch. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Home in Cashiers

Our family of 4 have been visiitng Cashiers for about seven years. We have always rented a vacation home and never once were we as pleasantly surprised as with Ed's beautiful home. The home is enviting, clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Truly a gem. Ed is one of the most gracious hosts I have ever met. Location is perfect!!

Wedding Weekend in Cashiers

We were in Cashiers for a friend’s wedding immediately post hurricane Helene. The house was terrific, decorated well and very conveniently located to things. Our host communicated with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this property.

Christmas Getaway

Our family has been traveling to Cashiers / Highlands area for years and this was by far our favorite rental. The home was exactly as described and perfect for our family of 4. The location was great; right off of the main highway so very convenient to shopping, hiking, etc but the neighborhood felt very secluded once you were there. The screened porch and outdoor fireplace was perfect for the couple of cold rainy days that we had during our stay. We will definitely be back!

If I could give this home a 20/10 I would! This is our second year staying here and this year is as wonderful as last year! Ed is so attentive and thinks of every detail. The house has EVERYTHING and is so warm and inviting. The location is perfect, beautiful country drives to Franklin, Highlands and Waynesville. We are always so sad to leave! Cant wait for next year! Perfect anniversary getaway

Perfection is the best description for this property! It is stunning, it has everything you would think about needing. Ed even left us creamer for our coffee! We enjoyed our stay so much we requested an extra day which Ed made happen. The location was perfect, We were able to visit all the near by towns. This home is 20 out of 10!!! Thanks Ed!

A great way to visit Cashiers

My wife and I have been making summer trips to Cashiers for more than thirty years, usually renting homes near High Hampton Inn. This last visit was probably our best. The cottage was perfect: clean, well equipped with a very practical,comfortable layout. The location was ideal for us. We had a couple stay with us for a few days and they shared our enthusiasm for the house. Our host was very responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend the cottage.

This cottage is truly spectacular! It is very conveniently located to Cashiers and The Highlands, as well as, several restaurants and shopping. The cottage is decorated very nicely, has wonderful extras in each room, and a fully stocked kitchen! The host also provides lots of extras (ie. Snacks, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and wood for fireplace). The absolute best part of the cottage is the screened in porch with wood fireplace….such an amazing place with a large TV! It was great for watching our favorite football teams! The host is very responsive and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend this property!

Amazing Mountain Cottage

We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this home. We have rented a lot of homes in the Cashiers area and this is by far the best! This house is so well appointed and stocked you will lack for nothing. We had a few questions for the owner regarding electronics and he was super responsive. The house is beautiful inside and so comfortable. We have already booked this home again for another stay.
