Fabulous newly refurbished property full of light and a sense of space with new items throughout. Well stocked kitchen. Fully equipped with new and working appliances. Amazing views. Helpful and communicative owner who managed our luggage up the (extensive) stairs for a flat on the 5th floor. The owners even helped us get to the train station at the end of our stay. Very pleased

I was deeply disappointed by my stay at this property. When I asked simple questions, the host became irritated. For example, when I asked about adjusting the water temperature in the shower, I was met with an unnecessarily rude response from the host. She mentioned “you are asking for too much go to the Carlton if you need room service. This is 9pm at night and I am with kids”. I didn’t ask her to come to the house to fix it. I simply asked how I could change it. As a guest, I expect clear, polite communication, not the hostility I experienced.
As a host, it’s essential to provide clear guidance on how to use amenities.
Moreover, there was no mention in the listing about the five flights of long stairs required to reach the property, with no elevator available. This is crucial information that should be disclosed upfront. Especially for potential handicap guests. Not even a simple apology was offered for this oversight.
I can confidently say this is not the standard I expect from a rental, and I am extremely disappointed by the lack of transparency and poor treatment.
