The Greasewood Grocer cabin is a very lovely space with a wraparound porch for watching the sunrise, sunset, and the spectacular starry sky. I loved the smell of creosote in the morning on the west side of the porch! The Greasewood is very artfully decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Pam, the owner, did an excellent job of communicating directions and kept in contact as needed throughout our 4 night stay. She replaced the microwave for us when the one that was there broke down. We also used the BBQ grill on our last night there to take a break from restaurants and my husband cooked a romantic steak dinner under the stars. The Little Burro Country store a mile away is a very friendly, helpful resource with a sweet resident cat. My only regret is that I did not have a chance to meet the burro!
