Love this cottage! Clean and modern, perfect for my husband and I! Amazing location!
September 2018 - Wonderful vacation! Last week of Sept so we basically had the beach to ourselves! Lots of long walks and lazing about on the screen porch! Highly recommend this rental!!
Cozy cottage with great views of the sunset over the bay. Fantastic!
Perfect little house on the bay
Our family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful week at this cute little house on the bay. It's on a very quiet and secluded street directly on the Delaware Bay. There are lots of places to eat nearby and a you're just a short drive from the activity of Wildwood and Cape May. We loved the huge screened in back porch and spent a good deal of time out there. We used the table to eat and play games, used the hammock and sat in the comfy chairs to read.
The beach was not at all crowded and we were often the only people there. You do need to adjust your beach times to the tide (as mid-westerners we went down a couple of times at low tide to find the water murky and muddy), but at high tide it was fantastic, clear and warm.
Sunsets were absolutely gorgeous and it was wonderful to be able to walk down the short path to the beach to enjoy them after dinner and get your toes in the water one last time for the night.
This house has all of the amenities you could want. They have beach items (chairs and umbrellas), a wonderful outdoor shower, comfy beds, updated appliances, and a smart tv for rainy day movies.
The only thing I wish it had was a washer and dryer, but I'm not sure where they would put that in the cozy cabin and I probably don't need to do laundry on vacation anyway :)
We had a wonderful time and would definitely visit again!
Another wonderful stay
This is our fifth visit to the Baybreeze Cottage and once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. Cottage is clean and comfortable, a true home-away-from-home. Owner is responsive, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. Location is wonderful for those who enjoy peace and quiet while remaining close to busier, more populated parts of town. We will certainly return!
The beach is your backyard!
This was a great location for a week-long family trip with our 4 year old daughter. The access to the beach/bay was so easy that it wasn't a problem to drag her hundreds of beach toys back and forth multiple times a day - ha. It was also incredibly clean when we arrived and everything looked beautiful. Great stay!
Very homey beach cottage with beautiful views of the sunset on the bay. John was a joy to work with, especially when collecting & shipping the cell phone I left behind. (Groan.) Very clean & comfortable. The only negative was the loud pool motor next door, which drowned out the sound of the surf. I think he was having a problem with it, & that it is not normally so loud.
Cape May Beach front home. Water sports, fishing, birding, golf and nature. Short distance from boardwalk, ocean beaches and amusements. Fine dining in Victorian Cape May.
