Stunning garden flat in a gracious Georgian terrace of town houses, within level walking distance of Bath city centre. Large living room with comfy sofas, open fire (gas coal effect) and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen. Romantic double bedroom with vaulted ceiling and concealed lighting, leads through open archway to dressing room with two single beds (suit children or close friends!) Characterful vaulted bathroom. Walled garden with patio and barbecue. Free parking outside, easy access to local shops, pubs, theatre and pleasant walks.

About Bath: Bath is Britain’s only World Heritage City with Roman baths, glorious Georgian architecture and a myriad of fascinating shops, restaurants and bars.

'Must sees' include the Roman Baths, Assembly Rooms, Royal Crescent, Pump Room and Pulteney Bridge - the choice is yours.

Grosvenor Place offers the rarety of unrestricted parking outside, easy access to city centre and a small walled garden. Local pubs and shops within five minutes walk, and the city centre is about 15 minutes level walk away either along London Road or via the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath.

The exciting new Thermae Bath Spa opens in Spring, 2004, with the chance to bathe in thermal mineral waters and enjoy a range of therapeutic treatments in the first new spa to be built in the UK for at least 200 years!

The city itself is a shoppers' paradise, with many interesting and unusual independent shops. There's also a vast array of restaurants and pubs to suit just about every taste and pocket.

Within Reach: Further afield the choices for days out range from Bristol, with its exciting new hands-on interactive science centre and SS Great Britain, to the Cotswolds. The ancient sites of Stonehenge and Avebury are also close by, while Wells and Glastonbury continue the historic theme.

The National Trust village of Lacock is also a short drive away - see if you can spot familiar scenes from the film version of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' and the Harry Potter series, while Castle Combe is just one of the many delightful country villages on the doorstep.

The area around Bath offers wonderful opportunities for walking - the Cotswolds Way starts and finishes at the abbey doors, and the surrounding hills and woods are criss-crossed with public footpaths, many offering spectacular views of the city below.

For the less energetic, Bath makes an excellent centre from which to tour the Cotswolds, as well as the beautiful countryside of Somerset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.

What's On?: Bath hosts a whole string of festivals throughout the year. The International Music Festival runs from mid-May to early June, there's a wine festival in June, a real-ale fandago in October, and a Film Festival and Mozart Festival both in November. The Christmas lights run through the whole of December, and there's always a performance of Handel's Messiah in Bath Abbey on the first weekend in December. Wonderful apartment, great location.

I organised a girls weekend away for three us. Sue's apartment is clean, nicely furnished and decorated, comfortable and well equipped. We walked in to Bath from the apartment and this took us 30 minutes. Unexpected is the lovely little garden at the back (this being a basement apartment) there is lots of natural light too. We really enjoyed our trip and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Outstanding!

We booked this fantastic apartment over the Xmas break and had a great time.

It's located very conveniently just outside of the main centre but still close enough to walk. There's plenty of parking and across the road is a Londis, a restaurant and coffee shop.

Sue the owner is great, very accommodating and even decorated the apartment for Xmas which was a nice touch for our 2 year old.

The apartment is gorgeous, furnished, decorated really well and immaculately clean which amazingly Sue does herself.

The lounge diner is a great size and has a very homley feel.

The main bedroom is large enough for 2 with plenty of storage. The bed comfortable and again really nicely decorated.

The second bedroom has a single bed with a another pullout single underneath so comfortable for either 2 adults or kids.

The bathroom is great and now boasts a shower which i think hasn't always been there so again top marks.

The kitchen is small but well equipped with all the essentials.

We had a fantastic time and cant wait to go back.

Immaculate and comfortable property

The property was all that we could hope for, very comfortable and well appointed. All the little extras like milk, coffee, biscuits had been thought of. Ideal position for visiting Bath centre with the bus stop just outside and a ten minute ride into the city. Perfect for a walk along the canal with easy access to the toll path and a leisurely stroll into Bath or Bathampton. We had a lovely meal at the Beaufort Restaurant which is just a two minute walk away. A good range of small local independent shops very close by, as was the large MOrrisons. The walled garden was ideal for our little dog who enjoyed his first meeting of a frog! Excellent stay.

Beautiful garden flat

Our family of four had a wonderful stay in this lovely garden flat. The location was ideal for an easy walk into town along the canal or taking one of a few city routes. It was great being able to park our car and leave it parked for our days in Bath. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, with everything one could want for a short stay. Our children were happy to have their own private nook with comfortable beds and cosy bedding. Sipping our morning coffee in the secluded and private garden was also lovely! Sue provides her guests with helpful information about local shopping, eating, and attractions. Many thanks for a lovely stay!

Excellent location and beautiful garden

This accommodation was fabulously located, scrupulously clean and very comfortable. It was also lovely and quiet with very comfortable beds and beautiful kitchen/bathroom facilities. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends visiting Bath.
