Not as expected

The contact was good and friendly until arrival. But the photos showed it in a better condition than we actually found it. When we arrived, especially the it smelled old and some of the cleaning had not been done properly. We know that we can't expect luxury accommodation in vacation homes like this and may have to make compromises. Nevertheless, in this case we decided not to stay and went straight to another place in Vanes, which we were lucky enough to find quickly on the internet. Nevertheless, our vacation feeling was considerably diminished.

Wunderschönes, toll ausgestattetes Haus!

Wir haben im August 2022 einen Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus auf der Halbinsel Quiberon verbracht. Die Halbinsel ist recht klein und dadurch sehr leicht zu erkunden. Das Highlight ist natürlich die Cote Sauvage, an der man unbedingt bei Flut und Wellengang entlangwandern sollte, denn dann ist das Ganze besonders spektakulär. Saint Pierre ist klein, hat aber einige Bars und Restaurants. Den besonders guten Biobäcker erreicht man vom Haus aus zu Fuß in 15 Minuten. So kann man sich gleich das Croissant wieder abtrainieren. :) Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Creperie du Vieux Port in Quiberon. Der Markt in Saint Pierre ist zwar etwas kleiner als der in Quiberon, hat uns aber besser gefallen, weil sich die Stände durch den Ort ziehen. Das Haus ist einfach wunderschön und toll ausgestattet. Dadurch fühlt man sich mehr in einem Zuhause als in einem Ferienhaus. Dem Besitzer ist es gelungen, das Haus zu modernisieren und dabei alte Elemente zu erhalten, damit der Charme des Hauses nicht verloren geht. Der Empfang durch Laurine war sehr freundlich und professionell. Wir konnten sie bei Fragen auch während unseres Aufenthaltes über Whatsapp erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Maison parfaite pour les vacances en famille. Au calme à Kergroix, à quelques minutes à pied et à vélo du centre de Saint Pierre et de la côte sauvage. Maison très bien équipée avec de grandes chambres. Laurine qui s'occupe de l'accueil est parfaite.

Schöne Ferien in Saint Pierre Quiberon

Das Ferienhaus ist ein sehr typisches bretonisches Haus mit großem Garten, Terrasse und Garage. Vor der Garage ist eine Zufahrt, auf der 2 Autos bequem stehen können. Für den Garten stehen Liegestühle, ausziehbarer Esstisch und passende Stühle sowie ein Grill zur Verfügung. Zwei Markisen können als Schattenspender genutzt werden. Im Haus ist im unteren Geschoss die Küche, ein Wohn- und Esszimmer sowie ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad und separater Toilette. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich 3 weitere Schlafzimmer sowie Bad und Toilette. In diesem Haus können bequem 8 Personen Urlaub machen! Das Haus ist komplett renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet - auch mit einigen älteren Elementen in den Bädern und der Küche, was aber für den Charme des Hauses spricht. Es machte alles einen sehr neuen Eindruck von den Möbeln bis hin zum Geschirr und den Geräten. Bei Abreise erfuhren wir, dass wir die erste Gäste waren. Die Ausstattung ist großartig: großer Kühlschrank, 2 Kaffeemaschinen (Filter und Kapseln), Wasserkocher, Induktionsherd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, gutes und ausreichendes Geschirr. In der Garage steht eine Waschmaschine sowie eine Tiefkühlschrank. Das Wohnzimmer ist äußerst gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über einen sehr dekorativen Kamin (nicht nutzbar). Ein großer TV ist vorhanden sowie WLAN. Wir werden dieses Ferienhaus in sehr guter Erinnerung halten und empfehlen es ausdrücklich weiter! Die Lage: Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet mit vielen ähnlichen Häusern. Von den Nachbarn bekommt man eigentlich gar nichts mit. In dem Gebiet wohnen Menschen sowohl ständig als auch saisonal. Der Ortskern ist zu Fuß erreichbar: zum Baguette kaufen ist man eine halbe Stunde unterwegs (hin und zurück). Zur Küste ist es nicht weit - locker zu Fuß erreichbar. Der nächstgelegene Strand (Plage de Port Bara) kann bequem mit dem Auto erreicht werden (Fahrzeit unter 5 Minuten!). Dort befindet sich nach unserer Meinung einer der schönsten Strände, die wir je gesehen und erlebt haben! Insgesamt haben wir Quiberon und auch Saint Pierre als ein abwechslungsreiches, erholsames, kulinarisches und erlebnisreiches Reiseziel kennengelernt - in jedem Fall eine Reise wert. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter sowie der Dame zur Schlüsselübergabe verlief wirklich sehr reibungslos und nett. Nach der Rückkehr nach Hause wären wir gerne gleich wieder umgekehrt!
