This was a long awaited trip for my sister and me to take my Mom to see the Ark. What a great time and the accommodations made the trip that much better. Great location, short trip to the Ark, easy access when we arrived. As long as you don't mind the train going by regularly (and we didn't) it is all good!!!
We had a good stay. It was a great little cabin and the area around the rooms was fun and well-kept. The room was clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything we could need. It was exactly what we expected it to be. It was perfect for what we needed on this trip. I would definitely come back again.
Perfect spot to sleep and shower after visiting the ark or on your way somewhere else. Very easy to find. Check in was easy. Everything just as stated in the listing.
Cute space/ lovely bathroom/comfy beds expected more room for the price. Luxurious linens overstatement. Checked in as only cottage filled, parking could be more guarded from the road. Cute place but overpriced
Overall the place was very clean and a nice place to stay. You have about the same amout of room as a regular hotel room without people above, beside, or below you to worry about. There were train tracks across the street but overall didnt bother us.

Cute place close to the Ark
Check in was easy and response was quick. The room was clean but one of the beds was less than a foot from the air conditioner making it hard to sleep comfortably. The location was conveniently close to the Ark, but also directly next to active train tracks. Trains went through multiple times a night. Lastly, the bathroom door was a barn door which is cute, but not functional at all. There were large gaps on both sides making things awkward.
Such an adorable little place. Everything was super clean. Just a few things you should know about...
- Railroad track nearby and trains! We loved them, though!
- The heater was about 8" from one of the beds. My mom woke in the middle of the night super dried out, so we had to move her bed into an awkward position in the room so it didn't blow directly on her anymore.
- The bathroom door is a barn door and there is a 2" gap on both sides when the door is closed where anyone walking by can see in or hear anything. We didn't care but someone definitely may.
- No extra blankets.
We would probably stay again but would ask for a different room.
The cottage was quaint and close to attraction; however, I would rearrange the beds to keep away from the air conditioner/heat source. It should be noted that this cottage had two twin beds--should be indicated upon booking.
The cabins were absolutely clean and wonderful. What a great concept as an alternative to hotels. I would give it a 5 star rating but I can't. I had the worst sleep because 300 feet away is an active train track. Every hour on the hour the cabin would shake followed by a deafening train horn.
This property was close to the convention site we were using. Worked very well for us. If you can’t sleep to the sound of trains passing by, bring a noise machine. Would stay here again.
The individual cabins give you so much privacy. They are quaint, cozy, comfortable, and home like.
The entire process from booking, getting notifications between the booking and arrival, check-in and check-out is easy and convenient. I absolutely love staying here.
