This property was PERFECT for us! It is decorated nicely, had everything we could possibly need (and more), and even included a note from the owner on the fridge which was a nice way to be welcomed! The pool was directly outside the lanai and overlooked the small lake that the townhome sits on. We had some beautiful views. Our kids loved the kayaks, also! I really can’t say enough good things about the property and owners. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit family in Lake Placid!

Stay in Lake Placid

The owner is easy to work with, and was very helpful. We had a very well-kept three bedroom condo with a great view of a of a small lake and a swimming pool right out our back door. We would definitely use the place again if we are in this area.

Perfect spot near the track

Our team races at Sebring every year, and this townhouse is was the perfect place to relax after a long day of racing. The place is very clean, and there’s a pool to cool off in. Quick 15 min ride to the speedway, with plenty of places to find food in between.

Amazing View of the Lake

Great place to relax and unwind. The unit was well maintained and super clean. Plenty of space for our family of five. The pool is literally just outside the porch. Super convenient, to say the least. Beautiful sunrises. Easily accessible from Hwy 27 and close to shopping. It was everything we were looking for in a rental.

Clean and peaceful

This location is awesome. It was quiet and the pool was clean and relaxing. It felt like a home away from home. The only suggestion I would make is having access to a broom and dustpan. We had to go buy one to clean. Other than that everything else is provided.

Lake Placid

Property was clean and neat. We enjoyed the use of the pool, deck and lake. We were able to kayak multiple times. The location is peaceful. It made us sad to leave. Thank you to the owner for accommodating us with our requests. We would definitely recommend this property to couples and families.

Annual Reunion Trip

This is my second stay in this home during Memorial Day Weekend. My family's reunion is on Lake Placid each year and this townhouse is within 5 minutes of the house we host the reunion at. Super convenient to the event, within minutes to Publix and fast food options. The home is well appointed and kept nicely for renters. Communication with the homeowners is easy and they respond promptly, if needed. I will definitely stay here again. :)

Awesome Experience

Absolutely LOVED the master bed. Got some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time!!! Pillows comfy. Loved the dock and the view of the lake. Wish I had a jet ski to bring with me - say one of the residents having a blast the morning we left - I’m sure it had nothing to do with our leaving. The attention to details was GREATLY appreciated.

Comfy lakeside townhouse

My sister and I rented this lakeside townhouse for a week. The check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The townhouse was clean and beds were so comfortable we slept like a rock! The jacuzzi tub was the perfect size and nice to relax in before bed. The bedrooms are upstairs so be sure you don’t have issues getting up and down them. The screened in lanai had a nice table and chairs and was the best place to enjoy coffee in the mornings. Our favorite spot was by the pool that was just outside our unit. We would stay here again for sure.

Lake Placid Sleepy Town

This lake is small and does not have access to the larger lakes but it has a Sandy beach and clear water I wouldn’t suggest it for serious boaters. We noticed a couple of small alligators who were hanging out near the Lilly pads. We were courageous and used the kayaks it was a lot of fun. The pool was clean and very easy access. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was very good. There were sugar ants in the kitchen and we had to store all food in the fridge after the ants got in our cereal and got into our muffins. The owner responded quickly whenever I reached out. Overall it was a lovely time with my teenage grandson.

Lakeview

I have frequented many VRBO's and usually leave a pro's and con's review. I like these myself, so as to gauge the property before renting. Pro's, everything was in it's rightful place. From the location, close to restaurants, fuel and food store. Positioned well on the lake off the main highway. Had the only pool on the lake. The condo was clean and well stocked. The manager communicated well and made things a lot smoother. Con's, it's in a very dark location. It was hard to find at night since the apartment sits down a slope. No porch light was on to the condo upon entering. No lights in the pool itself or landscape lighting if you wanted to sit by the pool or dock at night. The highway can be a little loud at times but not too disturbing. So that's it, I would stay there again. We enjoyed our time there!

Enjoy water sports and fishing in our owner-only accessible lake. Or just walk out onto our private dock and fish from there. There are over 50 golf courses in the area and an additional 29 freshwater lakes. Lake Placid is a great place for fishing and boating. The area hosts many varieties of plants and wildlife.
The Town of Lake Placid has walking tours of the many famous murals painted on buildings.
