About this property
Rusty Bridge River Lodge | Hot Tub & Barrel Sauna
Summary:
Escape to this riverfront lodge beside the iconic Rusty Bridge on the Mountain Loop. Soak in the hot tub, warm up in the barrel sauna, take a cold plunge, and gather at your covered riverside firepit. Inside, enjoy a gas fireplace, cozy lodge-style interiors, fast Wi-Fi, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Near Lake 22, Heather Lake, Gothic Basin, Mt. Pilchuck, and Verlot.
The Space:
Tucked along the South Fork Stillaguamish, this cozy riverfront lodge blends mountain adventure with rest and recharge. Spend the day hiking nearby trails, then come home to unwind by the river.
Inside, the lodge features a comfortable living area with a gas fireplace, smart TV, and inviting seating. The home sleeps up to 4 guests with a queen bedroom on the main level and a queen bed in the loft, all with hotel-quality linens.
The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to cook meals at home, and the dining area plus patio BBQ give you flexible options for staying in and relaxing.
The outdoor setup is what makes this place special: a riverside patio with hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and chiminea, plus a private covered firepit down by the water. It’s an ideal basecamp for couples, friends, or small families looking to recharge in the woods.
Guest Access:
You’ll have access to the entire home and its private outdoor spaces.
Adjacent cabins have separate entries, separate parking, and privacy fencing for added seclusion. The covered riverside firepit is reserved for your use.
River access below the steps is shared with Mt. Pilchuck River Cabin. Parking is available in the private covered carport.
The Neighborhood:
Located on the South Fork Stillaguamish near the Rusty Bridge, the lodge is surrounded by some of the best outdoor recreation on the Mountain Loop. Lake 22, Heather Lake, Gothic Basin, Mt. Pilchuck, and other popular trailheads are all nearby. Verlot Ranger Station and campground are a short walk away.
Granite Falls is about 15 minutes west for groceries, gas, coffee, restaurants, and basic supplies.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended. The lodge is just off Mountain Loop Highway with generally year-round access. In winter weather, AWD and traction devices are recommended. Be sure to check conditions for Granite Falls before heading out.
Other Things to Note:
Dogs are welcome, with up to 2 house-trained dogs allowed. No cats. The pet fee is $25 per dog, per night. Please include pets in your booking, keep them off furniture and beds, and do not leave them unattended in the home. The pet fee will be added after booking.
Arrival details, directions, entry codes, and check-out instructions are shared in the digital guide before check-in.
Please note that river safety, quiet hours, and hot tub rules apply during your stay.

About the host
Hosted by Owen & Kristin
Hello happy travelers!
We are Owen and Kristin, and we love our job of creating magical retreats for our guests to stay and relax in. Owen is a former contractor and I am an Alaska Airlines flight attendant, and both are real estate brokers. We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding experience for all of our guests. We buy (or help our clients buy) unique properties all around the PNW. We then remodel these homes to chic faux-rustic design. All the way through sourcing furniture and stocking shelves the process goes on. We love family, skiing, hiking, traveling, gardening, photography and searching for new properties to renovate.
Our adventure started 4 years ago as house flippers and helping our clients do the same. Things took a turn when we completed our 3 cabin remodels. The plan was to finish and sell them so we could roll into other flips, but the night before listing, while sitting around the campfire, we decided to roll the dice and keep the cabins and turn them into Vacation Rentals. That single decision has completely changed our lives and business plan.
