Amazing Oceanview, 5-bedroom on Bald Head Island.

Spacious 5-bedroom, 4.5 bath home with magnificent views of South Beach, custom-built by Henson Building Corporation. Access to beautiful South Beach is an easy two minutes walk. The main home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3.5 fully updated bathrooms, with well appointed king primary suites on both the first and second floors. One guest room offers two bunk beds with queen size beds as the bottom bunk. The attached crofter (260 square feet) features a private third Primary suite. All bedrooms have direct access to comfortable porches, offering privacy and ample space for family and guests. Meticulously maintained, recent upgrades include new roof, exterior and interior painting, and refinished Australian Cypress hardwood flooring. Stainless steel appliances, 2-oven range, and outdoor gas connection for BBQ make dining fast and easy. The home incorporates expansive 2nd floor decks with views of the Atlantic and spectacular sunsets, wrap-around covered porches on the 1st floor. Lush, mature landscaping completes the beautiful exterior of this vacation home making it an island oasis. The fully equipped kitchen offers additional amenities for the chefs at heart. Access to both island clubs for an additional fee.

Sleeps 12 (max.). 5 bedrooms with additional sleeping in the crofter (1K-1K-2T-2T,2Q-1K). 4 full baths. (1) 4 passenger cart and (1) 6 passenger cart. Less than two minutes walk to beach access.

Check-in and out days in summer season is Sunday-Sunday. Ferry reservations should be made to coincide with the assigned check-in/out times which are 3:30pm property check-in and 9:00am property check-out. Ferry reservations should be made no earlier than 3:00pm. for arrivals and no later than 9:30am for departures. There are no accommodations made for early check-in or late arrivals.

*INTRACOASTAL REALTY DOES NOT GUARANTEE NUMBER OF OR CONDITION OF BIKES, BEACH UMBRELLAS, BEACH CHAIRS, BEACH TOYS, OR BEACH TOWELS. ANY CANOES, KAYAKS, OR PERSONAL WATERCRAFT ARE NOT A PART OF THE STANDARD HOME RENTAL PACKAGE.

Optional fees: Travel Insurance and Security Damage Waiver. Reservations will include the SDW non-refundable fee, if you choose to opt out of the SDW fee, a refundable Security Deposit will be charged to your reservation. The Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 days after checking out and no damage to property.

Fun house during a rainy week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were comfortable in this house on our rainy week at BHI. The kitchen is well appointed for non-complex cooking. The distance to the beach is good as well as the chairs and boogie boards available. The only complaint is that the odor in the crofter unit rendered it unusable the week we were there. It could have been new paint that will dissipate over time, I’m sure. Overall, thanks for a great stay!

Disappointing home. Great island.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental agency was very difficult to work with. Have 24 hour cancellation policy even if extreme circumstances require a change in plans. In my case, was renting for a month and found out medical procedures prevented from going. Called back within 48 hours and was told of this policy and no exceptions. The trip insurance is virtually worthless and very onerous.. ultimates through a 10 day back and forth, they finally agreed we were allowed to move to a later month in the fall, but by that time, all of it left me with a very bad impression of this agency. Make sure you really want to book and are 100 percent certain of plans (or can afford to pay and not go) or you will never see a refund. Also this home is very tired and run down. No cable tv, broken appliances. Broken beach chairs. Just very tired and run down.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great space for large groups and kids of all ages. Kitchen is spacious and beds are comfortable. A couple of small negatives I’m the details that take away - the second (lesser master suite on the first floor) has no dresser at all and maybe 8 hangers. This rental is not cheap and expecting the renter to live out of their travel bag off the floor for a week is not cool (not when you’re paying 11k!) . No blow dryers, no full length mirrors anywhere, limited extra blankets.
