Condo is near Ild Marco
We’ve been coming to southwest Florida for the holidays for the past 10 years and have stayed on Marco 3 of those years. Personally we prefer it over Naples. It’s a little more laid back and just doesn’t seem as crowded. We’ve stay near south beach, right on Tigertail and now here. The location is near Old Marco so it’s close to some pretty good restaurants and right next door to Rose Marina (if boating or fishing is your thing). It’s a short bike ride to Tigertail Beach but a little too far to South Beach (which we prefer). The condo itself was adequate. The lanai looks over the marina and tennis courts. The lanai furniture is really showing its age (constantly shedding flakes of rust-very messy) but the inside furniture was nice. The pans are new but everything else was mismatched and looks like stuff was randomly replaced but we managed to find what we needed . The comforter on the bed was stained. We took it off and used blankets instead. Also, the refrigerator was not cleaned before we arrived. We arrived 45 minutes before we could check in (checking out the spot - not intending to check in early) and Rudy (the owner) was there cleaning. He said his last guests checked out late so he was finishing getting it ready for us instead of the regular cleaners. This could explain the refrigerator but probably not the comforter. If we stay in this area again, we’d consider renting here.
