Welcome to Starfish Stays. Our little piece of paradise is located about 5 min walk to a pristine private beach on the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This totally renovated Key West inspired studio is setting the standard on Manasota Key is one of eight units at Starfish Stays on the unique Manasota Key of Southwest Florida.

Starfish stays is an easy 5 minute walk jaunt to the beach for gorgeous morning walks, shell and shark teeth collecting, swimming, sitting under an umbrella, basking in the sun or watching the most beautiful sunsets of the Gulf. Plenty of complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels in the unit. Two custom built outdoor showers hit the spot to rinse away the sand and salt. We make it easy for you to relax and enjoy your vacation.

The grounds of Starfish feature a beautiful pergola complete with gas fire pit, bbq, cornhole games and seating for eight! This apartment also has an outside deck with seating.

The fantastic Stump Pass is 3 miles south of the property. Here you can fish, hike the nature trails, launch a boat or kayak or just relax on the secluded beach. Stump Pass is an excellent location for finding shark teeth. Parking is only $3 per day.

Blind Pass is one mile north on the key. There are nature trails, docks for fishing, kayak launches, and playground and picnic areas. There are public restrooms and outdoor showers as well as more beautiful beaches. Parking is free here and abundant.

Starfish Stays was completely renovated inside and out. Our property features 8 total vacations units. 1C is brand new and was completed December 2020. Everything is new down to the stainless appliances, queen size bed and custom countertop. Starfish 1C boasts a brand new queen bed and a sofa bed w/ upgraded brand new memory foam full size mattress for added comfort. We offer a fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, and all linens.

Starfish Stays has eight units on the same property! Four two bedroom units, 3 studios, and a one bedroom unit. We can accommodate larger groups in several units.

We have our own private beach access, a TWO minute walk to the sand. Looking to avoid the big beach crowds? Our private beach is wide, sandy and PRIVATE.

Clean, Efficient and Cute-to-Boot!

Starfish Stays accommodated my husband and myself comfortably. Couch & tv for him to watch his news and read his paper. Chair outside by door for me to sip coffee. Bed was comfortable! Bathroom was just right. Loved using my phone to lock & unlock door. Easy walk across street to access beach. Appreciated having coffee available to get through our first morning upon arrival! I highly encourage others to consider Starfish Stays at Manasota Key.

Exactly as we had hoped

We had a great stay. Check in instructions were perfectly detailed, beach access was easy to find, and the place had everything and more than we could have needed. We had a great time here!

Enjoyed Our Stay

Very clean. With all the amenities that you can think of. Although it was not directly on the beach, it was conveniently located in front of the pathway to the beach. Property owners and staff were great to deal with, super friendly. Will definitely go back.

Great job

The town was just getting over a major hurricane with debris everywhere. Our building and grounds were clean and ready to go. Check in was easy and the staff was great. Wonderful job, it couldn't have been easy.

Fantastic stay!

Beautiful property, clean rooms and quiet. Absolutely loved the decorations. Had so much fun and definitely will come back. They provide all the goodies for fun at the beach. Great location with a few really good restaurants near by. Stephanie was super helpful. If I could make one tiny suggestion for the owners, there are only two wagons for hauling your chairs/coolers/umbrella and such to the beach. Guests tend to hide them in their rooms overnight to make sure they have one the next day. Adding a couple would be nice. Not super important, just convenience. Can't wait to come back!

You don’t want to know.

Proximity to beach was great. The unit was clean and had an updated beachy decor. The property manager was helpful and friendly.. That being said, the property was not worth the price. The bed was uncomfortable. We could not get the TV to work properly. The toilet was so small that it seemed like it was made for a toddler. The walls were paper thin. We respectfully would not go back. Our primary focus was to see an ailing relative and we were just happy to land a place during the busy spring break break season . If our purpose was solely a romantic weekend for two, we would have been really disappointed!!

Disappointing for the miney

Door opening and locking was an issue/TV was a nightmare/AC quit working /we got on line and figured it out after two warm nights-not enough towels/shower was good/when we turned up fan it make a clicking noise and needed to be turned down/parking is terrible/for the money we paid/we could get a beautiful condo for a month and that is what we will do next time/Ron Labadie

First time to Manasota Key

Property was perfect! All you need to bring are your clothes and food everything else is supplied by the host. Even beach chairs and beach towels! Property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The walk to the private beach was just across the street through an easement. We also used the grill for steaks and it was full of propane and very clean! This property is one of the best we’ve stayed in. And we had great weather 80’s and sunny each day.

Great place

Starfish stays is lovely. Very clean and well kept up. The property manager was very helpful with explaining the amenities. Beach is just across the street, beautiful and quiet. A couple of days we had the beach completely to ourselves Would recommend staying here

Hidden Gem

The whole trip was amazing. The stay was perfectly located right across from the beach. It’s very quaint and private and a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the everyday life. The stay was very clean and the appliances were brand new. Located perfectly with parking for everyone staying there. Five stars.

We had a great stay

We stayed at Starfish Stays, Unit 1C for a week. The units are decorated in a very beachy and fun way and are recently renovated. The unit was very clean and has everything we needed for a week at the beach including new beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella. We would definitely stay here again!
