FABULOUS STEPS FROM THE BEACH!!! - 3 Bedroom Condo

Located directly across the street from the beach and in the heart of Tamarindo, Sunrise #14 has a perfect family-friendly location for those wanting to be next to the beach and within a short walk of many great restaurants and shops. This three bedrooms/two bathroom second-floor condo sleeps eight and has a large, covered balcony that overlooks a beautiful pool and waterfall. The condo was completely renovated in 2021.



The space

The all-new chef’s kitchen features custom Guanacaste cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a custom stone/glass backsplash. Spa-like bathrooms showcase new floating Teak vanities, glass shower doors, quartz countertops, and high-end German fixtures. Custom locally made furniture includes two new king-sized beds and two sets of full-sized bunk beds, perfect for an extended family or friends traveling with kids. The 1,600sf condo has an open concept, with a spacious kitchen overlooking an expansive dining and living room. The 9ft. floor-to-ceiling glass doors invite you to relax on the private covered balcony, where you can lounge overlooking the pool with your morning coffee, a good book, or an evening cocktail. Other amenities include new top-speed wi-fi, central air, washer/dryer, a safe box, boogie boards, beach toys, and chairs, plus an extensive collection of 250+ DVDs. The unit has a parking space directly in front of the unit in a gated parking lot with 24-hour security.



Neighborhood overview

Sunrise has the best location in Tamarindo, right in the city center, so you will not need a car or have a long walk to the beach or restaurants. Next to the complex are top-rated surf shops and restaurants, plus a small grocery and liquor store right outside your front door.

The condo is under new management that emphasizes a more personalized customer service experience and was formerly a 5-star rated condo with Stay in Tamarindo. Amazing location and value!

Our family of 6 loved this condo! You can’t beat its location in Tamarindo, its steps to everything, the beach, restaurants, entertainment, convenience store, pharmacy, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious balcony in the mornings for coffee and evenings for relaxing with a cold drink. We spent the mornings at the beach which was just across the street and the condo had boogie boards, sand toys, balls, a beach chair (could have used 1 more!), etc. which made it super easy for us. My three girls (ages 9-13) absolutely loved the big pool with the waterfall. We spent almost every afternoon there. We only had two minor issues that should be addressed and that was the main shower not draining well and the icemaker not working. However, I would still recommend this place and return myself. It was a great value for the location and amenities!

Everything we needed & more

Our group of 6 (2 grandchildren, 2 parents, 2 teens) had a short stay at the Sunrise Condos over Easter. Our unit was the perfect fit for our group - plenty of space for relaxing indoors & out, comfortable bedrooms, spacious bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. We all enjoyed cooling off in the HUGE pool - the waterfall feature was a hit with the kids. This condo’s proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants was perfect. We were easily able to communicate with the owner and had clear instructions on how to enter the unit. We would stay here again for sure.

Great location

We really enjoyed staying at Sunrise Condominiums! The pool was wonderful for cooling off. It was very hot during our stay and the air conditioning kept us comfortable while we relaxed or slept in the condo. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking a meal for our entire family. We are a group of two families with 4 teenage girls and the two bunkbeds were perfect! The bathrooms are beautiful and large. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have king sized beds in the adult bedrooms. The location was amazing, across the street from all of the wonderful things Tamarindo beach has to offer. The kids did surf lessons, and we enjoyed the boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella provided for relaxing on the beach. I highly recommend this property!

This property is extremely well located and very well maintained! The apartment is nicely renovated with a well equipped kitchen and nice bathrooms! Highly recommend it!

Fantastic place to enjoy Tamarindo!

We (2 families with 3 kids aged 7-11) spent 6 nights here enjoying Tamarindo. The condo was clean & comfortable for all with plenty off space and all necessary amenities to make cooking meals and going to the pool and beach easy. We all loved the pool and our deck which overlooked it but was far enough away so we weren’t bothered by any noise. I really appreciated the location which was close enough to the beach we could walk over barefoot to avoid leaving anything there and then come back, rinse off in the outdoor shower and hop in the pool! Also don’t be worried when you drive in and it seems like a less desirable place to walk to shops/restaurants. If you continue a 1/2 block further you reach the sidewalked downtown with shops and restaurants to explore the easily. Communication with hosts was excellent. Parking spot great if you have a car. We saw howler monkeys daily on the grounds too! Would definitely return.

Lovely accommodations for a longterm stay

We stayed in this property for several weeks and were really happy with it and the property manager. Jordan procured a yoga mat for my stay and responded to a few issues (no wine opener, water heater needed turning up) immediately. The property is located in a good spot within the condos - nice view of the pool without being on top of it, close to the exit, and the patio does not get direct sunlight during the day. Beach access is so easy. The condo is very spacious; with an infant, we were able to spread out comfortably in the master suite. The bathrooms are huge and nicely renovated and the laundry room is huge. We also did a fair amount of working remotely from this property. Fast enough for zoom calls. The wifi was pretty solid and only went out a few times for a short amount of time. The pool at Sunrise is fantastic. There is a sectioned off 1.5 foot deep section for kids. The pool is big enough to swim laps in. It was rarely crowded. The following things would make this an even better property: 1. More washcloths and dishcloths. (There were plenty of shower and beach towels.) 2. A doormat to wipe your feet on.

The return to Tamarindo Beach 46 years later.

The property is the perfect destination to enjoy all that Tamarindo Beach provides. This was a 3 brother trip. We absolutely enjoyed all the amenities that the condo offered. The beach is quite a bit busier than it was 46 years ago but the sand and water are just as beautiful as we remembered. The complex pool is very enjoyable and a great place to get sun and kick back. Jordan is an outstanding host! He is very attentive to the needs of the guest! As a fellow condo owner and host Jordan absolutely deserves a 5 Star. Jack

Great place to stay

The apartment is well appointed, complete kitchen, centrally located, spotlessly clean, perfect for our family group of eight. The pool is large and beautiful. Property manager very responsive, and helpful in arranging transportation from airport. The Santa Rita cafe, just next door, serves an excellent breakfast.

Super clean and convenient

Really nice remodeled unit that was well equipped. We had lots of fun in the pool and across the street at the beach. The guarded gate was reassuring as we only had an open air golf cart to park. There were no washcloths and only two hand towels but plenty of big white fluffy bath towels. The place was really clean, they thought of everything!

Perfect condo in Tamarindo!

We loved our stay in in this beautiful renovated condo! Our family of 5 had plenty of room. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook a few meals when needed. Beach supplies and towels came in very handy. The condo was only a short walk to all of the shopping and restaurants that Tamarindo had to offer. The location was also perfect for our outings to various beaches in Guanacaste, zip lining and waterfalls. We also enjoyed the pool which was clean and never crowded. Would definitely recommend this wonderful vacation home!

Perfect condo for families!

Sunrise #14 is wonderful! Fully remodeled, 1 minute to the beach. Beautiful finishes, good AC and wifi. The property manager Jordan (son of Nora) was so kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Soooo nice!

We loved the condo, next to beach, totally redone. Very comfortable bed and nice finishes. Really didn't need a car, we walked everywhere. The condo had many nice touches, like beach toys and nice toiletries. Would highly recommend!

Great condo

The condo was perfect! Very clean and plenty of space. Perfect location across the road from the beach. Plenty of dishes, blender was handy to make smoothies. King size beds and linens nice and comfy. Washer and dryer nice to have also. I would definitely stay here again. This condo is newly remodeled.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Awesome renovation, the perfect setup for families with kids!!!

We were lucky enough to stumble across this newly remodeled listing and it was amazing! We have stayed several times in Sunrise and love the location and pool, but most units are dated with rough bathrooms. But Sunrise #14 is brand new with wonderful high-end finishes. All new bathrooms, kitchens, and furniture (the cool tile backsplash in the kitchen and the blue whale hooks were my favorites). The layout with two bedrooms with king-sized beds and two sets of bunk beds in the third bedroom was a perfect set up for us (two couples traveling with four kids). Plus, the owner provides so many nice touches that you would find in top hotels, like free boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs, and spa-like toiletries. The unit has great Wi-Fi, cable, and strong central AC, with a perfect second floor location overlooking the pool (but not right on top of the pool). Plus, it's right near the entrance gate, so the beach is only a one minute walk from the front door of the condo. Iguana Surf and Picos are located right next to the complex, so I could chill with my morning coffee on the beach while watching the kids take surf lessons. Jordan our host was wonderful. He is a hip local, fluent in English, Spanish and French. He helped us book a few day trips off the beaten path and had stocked the fridge with breakfast items for our arrival per our request. Whatever we needed, he was always available and ready to help. Why book a dated condo in Sunrise or one that is far from the beach and the action? Sunrise #14 has everything you need for a perfect family vacation!

Remodeled & Family Friendly

Sunrise #14 is a beautiful renovated 3 BR condo right next to the beach. The owners tastfully remodeled the place in 2021 and now it's the nicest unit in Sunrise! They also added two king beds, plus two sets of bunk beds, so it's a perfect setup for large families or couples traveling with kids. I loved that we could walk everywhere, and the kids loved the huge pool and the 93 step walk to the beach. So many units in Tamarindo are either dated, or a long walk to the beach or to restaurants, but Sunrise #14 is so nice AND it's right in center of town. We loved Jordan our host, he was so helpful and really seemed to want us to have a great vacation. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Tamarindo!
