Casa Clancy is your private tropical oasis. It is a perfect vacation spot for 6 people, a family, a group of friends, or a couples retreat. Or simply a home away from home when you can work/school is online. We have great wifi! The home is in a safe, secure community and provides the ultimate relaxation experience. From the moment you walk in you enter an open concept kitchen living room area that is clean and fully furnished with modern furniture and art. Off of the common area are the 3 bedrooms. All three bedrooms have full height sliding glass doors that allow you to gaze out to the Costa Rican jungle inspired landscaped yard that surrounds the gated home. The outdoor living space is large and filled with palm trees, a pool, hammock, hummingbirds, and the sounds of monkeys near by, with sun and shade lounging and eating areas. It provides the ultimate experience in relaxation. The property is only a15 min walk to the downtown lively Tamarindo area that is well known for its prime surfing, wonderful shops filled with art, flowing dresses, bikinis, surf boards, and coffee shops, beach bars and restaurants that you will dream about when you leave. Not to be missed is the Pura Vida atmosphere in town, some of the best food and people you will encounter you will find at the Thursday "night market" and Saturday morning market, that are filled with organic foods, artisans, musicians, and joy. The people of Tamarindo will have your hearts and keep you coming back for more.

We had a wonderful stay for our first time to Costa Rica. The owners did a great job communicating with us before our trip (to help get to know the area and give ideas for activities) as well as during our stay. The property managers were also very helpful and kept in touch throughout our trip. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. We traveled with our three teenagers and it was perfect for us. Would definitely consider staying there again if we ever make it back to Tamarindo!

Great house near Tamarindo. You could walk, but we mostly drove Safe, quiet and clean The pool and yard was amazing

Casa Clancy Pura vida!

Absolutely an amazing property and owners/ managers.we loved all the wildlife around . We felt in paradise!Close to the town to enjoy amazing dinners and shopping but also secluded. We travel to different beaches on the coast as well between 10 min to 35 minute drive.We traveled with teens and decided tamarindo for them to have more fun stuff to do!We will be back again!

Beautiful home and great location!

Home is as beautiful as the pictures! Very clean and very safe. Perfect distance from town. We rented a golf cart to get around. Host was very responsive and accommodating with any requests. Highly recommend!

beautiful rental home

This Villa is even more beautiful and spacious in person. The location is great and 15 minutes walking slowly to town and the beach. Just far enough to not be on top of the bars. It was fabulous and great value.

Fabulous Family vacation

My family had an amazing time, Tamarindo exceeded our expectations and the Property was great. The kids were in the pool every chance they could get, when we weren't at beach. Sandi provided recommendations and details to allow us to easily book excursions and we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend Casa Clancy.

Stunning

Gorgeous and stunning! Well stocked with everything you need. The interior is sparkling clean, bedrooms are spacious and comfy beds. The pool perfect and refreshing. The owners were always available and left an extremely helpful welcome package with tips for beaches, restaurants, groceries stores, rentals, tour operators ect. The property manager greeted us on arrival and checked in via Whatsapp to make sure everything was going well. I would absolutely book this place again!

Quiet paradise close to town

We stayed here twice (we were at another house for 5 days in between) in November 2022 and loved it. I really wanted to give the house 5 stars but a variety of minor imperfections led me to hold at 4. First the positive. The backyard is completely enclosed, very private, beautifully landscaped, and features a rather large pool for a property of this size and cost. There's a small covered seating areas with space for several people. The location is excellent, just far enough from downtown to be quiet most of the time, yet an easy walk to anywhere. We were treated to a group of more than 20 howler monkeys in a nearby tree the last day of our stay. The kitchen/dining/living area are good size and well equipped. Internet was fast and reliable. A/C worked a bit too well (I found myself raising the temperature or turning it off). There is nothing I would rate as a negative, but there were some minor maintenance or age/wear issues I noticed, none of which impacted our stay at all. For example, the washer/dryer were a bit rusty, but worked fine. There was a small water leak in the wall of the primary bedroom, but this was fixed before our second stay. A cabinet door broke, but this was also fixed quickly. There was no curtain on the window in the main bedroom bathroom, though it is located in a private spot on the side of the house. The property management was attentive and responsive. I'd definitely consider staying here again if we go back to Tamarindo.

Great home, great location. We will be back!

This property was perfect for my family with teenagers. Everyone had their own privacy. The home is very secure and the backyard and pool was our favorite hang out spot in Costa Rica. The location is great! A short walk to town and the beach. Sandi, the owner, and William the property manager were more than helpful. They both made me feel very comfortable reaching out with any needs or even just questions about the area. Sandi provided my family with lots of great information and resources to make our trip better. They set up our transport to and from the airport, they are willing to set up golfcart rentals and anything else that makes your trip easier and more enjoyable. We had an amazing time and when we return to Tamarindo, we be staying at Casa Clancy!

Set on a quiet street. you then have a short walk to a central avenue which will take you into the heart of Tamarindo. Central Avenue has lovely cafes, restaurants, a Scuba diving complex, a bank, and a grocery store.
