Boasting an abundance of natural light via the expansive windows and a spacious living area complete with a wood-burning fireplace, large sectional sofa, and flatscreen TV, this will be the perfect place to cozy up with a good book and cup of hot cocoa. When everyone builds up an appetite, the fully equipped kitchen is more than ready to assist in meal prep and the chef of the group can be a part of the conversation with such an open layout.

Perched in the heart of Copper Mountain and mere steps from the lifts, there will be limitless mountain activities at your fingertips. The skiers of the group will be gone from sunup to sundown taking advantage of fresh powder, yet shopping and dining also await in the village for any downtime spent away from the slopes. If you brought the kiddos along, don't hesitate to venture over to the Rocky Mountain Coaster at Copper for some good-natured fun. Not to mention, Frisco is a quick seven-mile drive north where you can indulge in a day of hiking and lake activities at Dillon Reservoir!

No good. Do not stay in the building.

Although the location is great I will not stay here again. Elevators were broken half the time and being on 5th floor was terrible going up in down in ski boots and having to drag luggage down at checkout. Also, Wi-Fi never worked and they never came to fix it despite reporting it first thing when we got there and every day thereafter. Skylights in bedroom let very bright light in very early in the morning. Vacasa service did not respond in a timely manner for any problem, even getting locked out!

Buddies Ski Trip

Everyone had a great time. However the elevators were a bit unreliable. The hot tube was only indoors and very hot. My biggest issue was the thermostat in the kitchen/living room at night. Temp would go from 70 down to 55 regardless of thermostat settings.

Nice Place

The great thing about the condo was that it could be expanded by adding a second hotel like room. It had a large fridge, coffee maker and ironing set. There were not many added amenities to the space such as coffee, or extra towels. The comforter coordinated with the theme of the room, but looked dated.

Vacasa rental in Copper Mountain

Copper Mountain is beautiful. The people in the “village” are friendly. My rental was for 7 days and it could have been more pleasant if basic information was provided to me. When I first arrived I had no clue about the lockbox to obtain my key. I had to call the 1-800 number to get the information and code to get into the room. After a couple of days I needed fresh towels and had no clue how to deal with this. I called the 1-800 number about the towels and a woman answered and agreed that I was probably supposed to wash them myself, and yes, I probably had to pay for the washing/drying machines, but she was not sure. So that’s what I did twice. On my 6th day, I heard from another guest that there was a phone on 1st floor I could use to call and request towels. What? When/where was I to know that?! I called and said I had a pile of dirty sheets and towels that could be picked up/removed from the room… please. They said OK. I returned later on at the end of the day and the pile of dirty sheets and towels was still there, plus I had no toilet paper. I called the 1-800 number again. This time a man answered and heard my towel story and need for toilet paper. (Clearly no point in going to first floor and calling “0” to request toilet paper!). This time the 1-800 call worked. Within minutes the “ guest service manager” was knocking on my door. She did not introduce herself and was handing us a pink bag full of towels and 3 rolls of toilet paper. I was happy about the toilet paper and the fast service and wanted to talk to her a bit about not needing more towels because I washed a bunch more myself and the pile of dirty laundry I’d appreciate getting out of the room, but it was obvious she was in a hurry to leave and by her manner I knew it was pointless to waste my time talking with her. In addition, the blinds were filthy and the floor sticky. The bathroom sinks drain super slowly. Couch dirty looking. Made me wonder about the spreads and pillows. I suggest your management offer more clear information. A guest book on how the rental worked with guidance on the stay would have been helpful and appreciated. I have to check out today (by 10 am, a firm 10!) and I have no knowledge on how to do this. Do I leave the keys on the counter? Return to drop box? Again, I’ll try to figure it out.

Hello Catherine, we are disappointed that you had so many issues finding the information you needed. We do actually supply our guests with all this information in the trip manager. This can be accessed from the confirmation email that is sent out at the time of booking. Once accessed it contains driving directions, information about the listing, where is the lock box for the key or the code for the door. Where the hot tub info is, where to take the garbage and the numbers for local staff. We apologize that this was not relayed to you at booking. We appreciate your honest review and hope to host you again in the future.
