Perfect Florida cottage across from the water and in walking distance to local restaurants.
Located at 410 School Drive, Everglades City.
Shady palm trees with wrap around porch in quaint old Florida style cottage.
World class fishing in the Everglades 10,000 Islands, airboat rides, Swamp buggy rides, wildlife and birdwatching. Close to Marco Island and Naples Beaches and within driving distance for day trips to the Florida Keys.
A wonderful and relaxing place to stay. Great canoeing and kayaking. World famous fishing, lush surroundings. Easy access to Everglades national Park,
airboat rides, boat tours, alligator farm.
Close to Seminole Indian reservation and casino. Close to beautiful beaches . Approximately 45 minutes to Naples and Marco Island. Approximately an hour and a half to Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Florida keys.

Wonderful place and location

Great job for exploring Everglades City and the national park. Walkable to pretty much all restaurants in Everglades City, and exceptional communication and hospitality by Owner. Our second year in a row staying here and we'll be back!

Great little cottage for a weekend getaway in Everglades City. All amenities were clean and functional. This was our second time staying at this little cottage and we were just as pleased with our stay as the first time.

Quiet and cozy

Stayed for 3 days for a fishing trip. The cottage offered a nice quiet retreat after long days on the water. Easy access to the waterway via a nearby boat ramp.

Great house in a perfect location. Boat ramp nearby and great restaurants in walking distance. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back!

Great Fishing Retreat

Great for three guys on a fishing trip. Beds comfortable, AC kept the house pleasantly cool. Clean and well appointed with dishes and coffee pots. Rooster next door got us up on time.

Snook Fishing Trip

This property provided accommodations for my son and me during a 4-day fishing trip to the Everglades National Park. We found this cottage clean, fairly well equipped for cooking our meals and centrally located to the park’s access. The host was accessible by email and quick to answer all pre-trip questions we had about the property and its location in meeting trip needs. We would reserve this property when planning another trip to the area.

Very nice remodel. AC works great to keep things cool. Be prepared for mosquitos and no seeums. Screen door on front would really help.

Great time

Property was well maintained and clean. A few things didn’t match pictures shown on listing. Like porch swing was not there, but over all the property and price were perfect for the quite time my husband and i wanted during our vacation.

Pleasant and great location

This is the second time we have rented this home. It is a cute cottage and great location. The basics were quite clean and pleasant. It could use a good deep cleaning and organizing. Things were tossed into closets and cupboards haphazardly. The pans fell out of the cupboard when I opened the door and many were dusty or not thoroughly cleaned. There is also a very limited channel selection on the TV if that is important to you. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I will communicate that to our cleaning crew as well as ask them to do a deep spring cleaning overall. We have always received excellent reviews on our cottages preparation and cleanliness but updating with a deep cleaning periodically is always something we try to do. Loving Everglades City

Everything was as advertised, clean, comfortable and easy access to all things in the area. Good ole fashioned Florida town, where good fishing and eating are the topics for discussion. We went to see the skunk ape. We had a great time. Except for the skeeters , I would move there in a minute. But they are en masse. We knew when we came they are at the worst in June through September but we survived. Hope it’s not another 20 years before we go back to that area. You must drive Loop Road off Tamiami Road. An amazing drive that’s FREE.

It’s obvious the owners care about this cottage and take pride in making it special……as opposed to simply milking every last dollar. Everything is updated as well. The location is awesome for walking anywhere around the Main town including all the restaurants. Everglades city is still old Florida but may be on its way to change. The quaint country charm is what brings us down every year. The cottage is stocked with all basic amenities like soap, towels, etc. and the front porch has a nice swinging chair to drink your coffee on. It is steps away from the water of the Everglades backcountry. We’ll see you next year!!!!

Cottage in Everglades City

The good: property was reasonably clean, had a great location, comfortable beds and good linens. The one problem we had was fixed promptly. A/C worked great. Checking and out was a breeze. Convenient location. The Bad: property shows signs of deferred maintenance. Several light bulbs were burned out, upholstered couch cushions were stained and not so clean. Broken drawer in kitchen, dishwasher not secured to cabinet. Minimal kitchen utensils. Glass cooktop was not cleaned properly. These deficiencies were more of an inconvenience but should have been addressed by the landlord before occupancy.

Paul .Thank you your helpful comments. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We are currently in the process of upgrading our couches and expect to have new ones very soon. Our dishwasher was just replaced with a brand new one and we will see that the installer secure it. Thanks for the details. Our cleaning staff was just changed and they new. They are responsible for advising on light bulbs, drawers , utensils etc and we will look into this. Usually everyone has a great time staying at our Cottage and we typically get wonderful reviews. We strive to always keep improving the quality of our offerings and value the input.

Host was very responsive to questions. The cottage is very comfortable. The location was great for seeing many of the natural wonders and for roadside fishing. The listing for the cottage needs to be updated with current pictures. The cottage no longer contains a table to sit at. The furniture and throw pillows could use a deep cleaning, but otherwise the cottage was very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay
