As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience at Shores of Panama, we’re currently undertaking a significant construction project from September 24, 2025, to March 1, 2026. We want to keep you informed about the construction phases and how they might affect your stay.
Construction Period:• Dates: September 2025 to March 2026•
Affected Units: Balconies will be completely inaccessible and have obstructed views.•
Activities: Construction work will occur daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

Parking & Amenities: You will be charged a one-time fee that will apply to one vehicle. Each unit is provided with one parking spot assigned to the unit, but if you have more than one, extra fees will apply, and you will have to park in the spots that are marked yellow. Panama City Beach is a gem that offers an unparalleled escape. Imagine waking up to the sun’s rays and the gentle sea breeze, ready to spend your days lounging on the pristine sugar-white sands right outside your door. Dive into the refreshing waters of the large shared pool, unwind in the soothing embrace of the shared hot tub, or, if you get too much sun, try the heated indoor pool and hot tub. Simply soak up the sun and create unforgettable memories. 

Beyond the beachfront bliss, this condo provides easy access to a fitness center and a variety of alfresco seating and dining spots. Venture into the nearby attractions, such as Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf, Zooworld Zoological Park, M.B. Miller County Pier, and St. Andrews State Park, to make the most of your Emerald Coast getaway. 

The spot is in one of the best locations for walking to anything you need, like Walmart Supercenter, going souvenir shopping, trying bowling or the arcade, or walking over to WonderWorks or Ripley's Believe It or Not. Don't have the kids, and then you can have a great time at Coyote Ugly, as it is right across the street.

Step inside to see a full kitchen with all the appliances needed to ensure culinary convenience, while the Gulf-view balcony offers the perfect spot for enjoying a cup of coffee or cocktails. Indulge in indoor comfort with smart TVs, wifi, and cable television, or switch over to the Roku for your downloaded favorites. Cool off in the central air-conditioning, or take advantage of the private washer/dryer.

Things to Know:- Some shared amenities, such as the tropical bar, coffee shop, and grill, are only open during peak season (March-October).-
Guests must pay $100 directly to the resort upon check-in, which covers parking and wristbands for amenities access.-
During spring break, all occupants must be at least 25 years of age, and no alcohol is allowed on the beach the whole month of March.
Pets are not allowed at this vacation rental.-
Guest entry instructions: This rental uses an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest’s stay.-
Guests must be 25 years or older to rent this property.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 12.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The view was great. It was nice to have a designated parking spot and kids liked the bunk beds. BUT hated that there was no broom or vacuum to clean up and rug in living room looked like it was never vacuumed. There was mold in the bathrooms. All the drains were slow. There was no way to make coffee and the refrigerator blocked the cabinet where the glasses were located. There was no ice machine in the condo and had to purchase ice for our cooler. The elevators were always busy and had to wait a long time to get up or down. The front door wouldn't close and my father had to tighten the screws with a knife. No lock on the front door and felt unsafe at night. Called the condo office and vacasa about all these complaints but nothing was done to rectify my issues.

Overall we were pleased with this rental. It could have been a little cleaner when we arrived but that’s okay. The main issue is the top bunk fell during the last night of our stay. My little sister was in that bed and my other sister was under her. Thankfully no one was hurt. However when I reached out to them, it took awhile for them to get back with me. I had to message them again to get a response.

After 6 years in PCB with our family on vacation this was the WORST condo/company we have ever dealt with. We arrived at the condo and started unpacking and it was hot in the condo. We realized the air conditioning unit doesn't go below 71. We We started turning on the fans, all ran by remote controls, one fan didn't have a remote at all so you couldn't turn the light off and leave the fan on, one remote was missing a back, so the buttons weren't working that great, one actually worked....then I was getting my girls bed ready and laid on bottom Bunk to feed a cord to the top for their chargers and found that the Bunk bed was broken.....the wooden piece that holds the SKINNY plywood up was in half....so I called and was told they would make a note to get someone up there, I called again and they told me they made it high priority. Then called again around 10 because I hadn't heard anything and was told someone would be in touch..... nothing that night. We made a pallet on the floor and let the girls have our bed since the Bunk bed was unsafe. Still nothing the next morning and in all I made 9 phone calls.....out of the 9 I got one phone call back from the company and 0 from anyone in PCB like I was told would happen. So I looked for another condo as I found more, cabinet door off hinges, kitchen table chairs very wobbly and needing to be tightened. The couch pull put bed was terrible. I'm very disappointed in their customer service and asked for a refund because they didn't provide the services I paid for.......I have yet to hear ANYTHING......we ended up leaving this condo and booking with someone who was AMAZING with Grand Panama. I WOULDNT RECCOMMEND BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY OR THIS CONDO.

Great condo, just as pictured. Very clean. Only bad was they need more lights around pool. Family member fell at night during our visit. Also parking deck is too tight for turns and parking.

The pictures look nice but so many problems!

On the surface this room looks nice. Simple basic decor, two rooms, and bunks for kids. Unfortunately, what you see in the pictures is not what you get with this condo. We have stayed at 4 condos in Shores of Panama and three other hotels in PCB. This was by far the worst maintained condo/hotel I've stayed in while in PCB. This cost for this condo was also the most I've ever paid for lodging in PCB by over $1000. When we arrived we were greeted with a door that had its seal flopping around. Once we got in, only one of the three fan/light combinations would turn on. All but one of the remotes for the fans had the backs missing. I had to stand on a stool to get up to the ceiling and repair the fans to sync them to the remotes. The Master Bedroom had a TV and cable box that did not work when we arrived. The remotes had no batteries and we had to use our own to make it work. I had to figure out how to sync the remotes to the TV and we didn't have cable in this room the first night. The master bathroom had several problems. The tub would not drain properly. At the end of the shower, you are standing in 6 inches of nasty water. The sink's stopper was missing. The second bedroom had several issues. The bed was of horrible quality, squeaked when you barely moved and was extremely uncomfortable. It is the loudest bed I've ever slept on. There was an obvious hand print on the back of the head board. There were no shades on the window so the room was well lit all night. It was so bright we had to drape towels over it to block out enough light to sleep. The fan in this room was not working and I had to repair as mentioned above. The remotes to the TVs did not have batteries again and I had to use more of my own to get it working. We did not have cable the first night as the remotes were not connecting and I didn't have time to deal with it. The 2nd bathroom's hand towel hanger was laying on the counter and the bath towel hanger fell out the minute we tried to hang anything on it. In the same bathroom there was mold on the base board, a broken moldy shower curtain which was torn on both sides and finally the light over the shower didn't work. Moving to the Kitchen. We were preparing food and realized the left sink would not drain. We tried to turn on the disposal in the sync and it was clearly clogged and would not start. The motor would make a small electrical sound and do nothing. The ice maker in the fridge was not making ice when we arrived. I had to reset it and then twist the tray mechanism to break it free and allow ice to work. The coffee maker had no coffee pot. We did not get one all week. My wife loves coffee and we had to jerry rig a measuring cup and allow the coffee to drain by holding a knife to the plug that allows the coffee to seep through. The kitchen in general was cramped and we could not access several drawers and cabinets without sliding the fridge around. In the living room. The other fan/light was not working. I had to repair. There were no remotes for the TV/Cable system. None were ever delivered after requesting remotes. We were not able to watch TV in the living room the whole trip. Wifi didn't originally reach to the living room but I found where it was installed (closed in a metal electrical box). Wifi doesn't go through metal! I opened the door to the box and wifi worked the rest of the week. As you can tell, the condo is simply not being taken care of. What could be a great home falls far short. Most of these issues could easily have been caught with a simple checklist before the client shows up. To wrap it up... Vacasa sent out a very nice repair main that was able to get the sink fixed (it took two visits over three days) and he was able to get the towel hangers back up. I had already fixed the fans and cable for the r...

Called 3 times to get hot water fixed. Sent repair man after day 2 & he said it was fixed but it wasn’t. 7 ladies taking cold showers for 5 days is ridiculous!

Great stay

1218 at the Shores of Panama is a well kept condo. Clean with a nice kitchen. It was perfect for our family. The location of the condo in the building was great. 95 degree temps and the balcony only got a little over an hour of full sun.

Overall, the experience was great! The parking was horrible due to the garage being so small and parking spaces were tight. It took 30 min just to find out parking spaces while trying to prevent from being hit by other cars when turning in the garage. Redo of parking is needed. I would have also like to see more amenities such as a restaurant so we wouldn't have to leave the property for food and beach towels. Additionally, there was only one jacuzzi and we were unable to get in as there were crowds of people in with their coolers parked on the sides and they stayed in for hours. The view was amazing, room was spacious and clean, we did have a problem at check in, the pin didn't work but customer service was able to assist fast. Staff was nice as well but not very helpful when asking questions.

Great stay overall. Very few complaints that were small

The property was extremely well taken care of and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Only a few small complaints. The tvs weren’t very good and need to be replaced. The one in the living room has blown speakers making it hard to hear, and both bedroom ones and either very loud or muted, no in between. The kitchen layout, specifically the refrigerator is awful. You can’t open several cabinets to get cups and other things due to them hitting the fridge. Lastly all the remotes for the tvs and ceiling fans were all missing backs. All seemed to work other than the living room ceiling fan remote. It was actually missing the entire back and would only come on the lowest fan setting, couldn’t change settings, turn the lights on or get it to go back off. Overall it was a great time at a very nice resort. Very minor, low cost complaints and everyone had a blast!

Love Shores of Panama

We have stayed at this property in the past so we knew it was a great resort. Our room was very nice. It is modern, clean and had everything we needed! The only thing I can think to mention is one cabinet in the kitchen is obscured by the refrigerator but we just moved glasses to a different cabinet to make it easy to get to. Honestly wasn’t a big deal. We went the week before Easter and it wasn’t too crowded either. We will stay here again!

Fall Break

We had a great week at the Shores of Panama #1218. Only downfall is when entering the bathtubs had not been cleaned. There was old soap and old razors. The floor wasn’t swept very well. We found lots of puzzle pieces everywhere and we didn’t have puzzles ourselves. Was very upset the dishwasher never worked the whole week. We didn’t have any baking sheets or even a pizza pan to cook with. Only one tv is all we could get to work. But we really didn’t need the TVs. The washer & dryer doesn’t work the best. We had to do small loads for anything to actually get clean. We made the best of it with what we did have. The parking garage is a pain in the neck going up and down. It took at least 10-15 minutes each time we left or came back up. But all in all the property is nice. Very comfortable beds, pool was nice, had the perfect amount of space in condo for our family. The staff at the resort were not very friendly. We were stopped several times and asked about our bracelets but there were many other people who didn’t have them on. I even pointed it out and the security would state they knew them. My daughter who was 6 was questioned constantly. She didn’t have to have one. Checking in was kind of a hassle. No one was polite and we really didn’t know exactly where to go. Maybe more instructions on that could help in the future. We really enjoyed the resort for the most part but may not stay in the same condo… unless dishwasher and washer/dryer is fixed or replaced.

Fall Break

We enjoyed our stay in this condo! There were not a ton of dishes, but enough for us to get by with the groceries/dinners we brought. There also wasn't a very big table to all sit together, but that was pictured in the listing. There were plenty of coffee mugs and a coffee pot! Overall, it was great!

Nice stay

We loved the place!!! The 12th floor is the perfect to oversee the pool and the view of the gulf is amazing! We got to see dolphins three different times! It was a bit of an inconvenience that after the tropical storm, the elevators didn't work for 2 days, and the ceiling in the first room on the left was leaking from the storm. The washer and dryer is in the bathroom in the first bedroom which wasn't bad. The place was beautiful and very cozy for our first vacation with my sister and her kids

Nice sized unit but was not clean.

Both shower curtains were covered in mold. Bathtub in master was filthy. Counters in kitchen were sticky when we checked in. Dryer did not function properly. It took 4 cycles to get towels dry enough to remove.

Good stay just needs a little work.

The overall stay was okay. We had a few problems with things though. The dryer does not work very well. As I was trying to do laundry, I put the clothes that were in the washer into the dryer and put another load into the washer. Later on found out that the dryer does not dry very well at all. I ended up having to shorten the load to 5 T-shirts and finally after about 2 hours, they finally dried. The door to get into the condo seemed to be kicked in at some point. The frame on the door is not very stable and seems to have a problem staying shut unless the deadbolt is latched on it. The sink in the half bath is very slow to drain. We tried to unclog it and had no success. The bunks that are in the hallway to go to the half bath have very little support in them. When my four year old niece went to get into bed to go to sleep, she almost fell through. Luckily she was on the bottom bed. The top seemed to hold her up better. There is a cabinet and a drawer that is in the kitchen that is not able to open properly because of the fridge being in the way. The only trash can for the kitchen is a very small 3 gallon trash can. The AC doesn’t go below 71. I know to most this is a pretty good temperature but my mom and I are very hot natured as it is and the medication that I’m taking gives me hot flashes. On top of that, if you’re running the dryer in the second bedroom, it gets very warm in that room. Even if the bathroom door is shut with the fan on, it still gets pretty steamy. Overall our experience was very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay! Shores of Panama is a very nice condominium to stay in and this is a very cute unit! Hoping these problems will be looked at and get fixed so we can stay here again!

Everything great except the elevators

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was clean and had a great view. The only downside was the elevators they stayed full or broke down from too many people trying to get in. Not so bad that I won’t go back though 😁
