Great location

We enjoy Camelot location andthe attached parking lot. We also enjoyed being able to choose our room. What we didn't enjoy is the floor was very dirty. Turned our daughters white socks black. By the third day we noticed a foul oder in the room. We are so turned off by the room being dirty we are looking for a different resort.

Nice Option for a Quick Trip

My son and I were attending a weekend event held at the boardwalk. This location was about a 15 minute walk from the venue which was perfect since we didn't want to have to park there. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance as well as a Starbucks across the street if you need your coffee in the morning. The hot tub and lazy river were nice, we enjoyed both during our stay and the beach access was very easy. This place offers a nice ocean view from the balcony with is visible from the couch area inside as well. The microwave and fridge are full size, we didn't really use them, but it is nice to have for longer stays. There is also a little table which is nice for eating. Two tvs and lots of charging spots were also nice. I would stay here again. :)

The room we we had was an oceanfront studio one bedroom two beds and a couch to fold out into a bed that sleeps six people with the kitchen and the place was nice but there were roaches everywhere in our room and I did not have anywhere else to put us so they try to restart process to somewhere else but we had an oceanfront studio while we were on the ocean in Myrtle Beach South Carolina then they try to put us in a house that was way away from the ocean so the experience was OK but the room was terrible wish it could’ve been better it was for my son’s 17th birthday

If you love the smell of mold and cigarettes, this is the place for you!

Let me start off with the good, the beach and view! Located on the 8th floor (perfect height) as soon as I unlocked the door to our room I was hit with a HEAVY mold smell. I had to immediately open the slider door to get some sort of ventilation. Upon opening the slider door I was hit with a strong odor of cigarette (smoking is absolutely permitted from the building but the other lovely guests have no consideration for anyone aside from themselves) so here I am, with my 3 young children in a moldy, musty, cigarette smelling area. I told the front desk who sent maintenance up to change the air filter and blast the room with a harsh chemical. As they did this I took my children to the pool depressed about my situation only to be met with tons of drunk adults blasting music from their speakers and dancing half naked. This is not a children friendly environment. We went back to our room after a few hours to the nasty masked smell. I was told I couldn't have another room because they were fully booked. The closet has pink stain on the door, there was a missing threshold hold between the kitchen area and room, the bathroom light fixtures was CAKED in dust. The bedding stunk like it wasn't washed. The kitchen ceiling had black mold on it, there was NO shower liner in the bathroom (just the curtain) the bathroom door was tight so you would have to slam push it shut making it nearly impossible for children to close. God forbid if anyone needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night everyone would be woken up. The bathroom also had chipped paint on the wall. Now for more fun, the pull out bed was the thinnest mattress pad I have ever seen, it fell thru the metal bars making it impossible to sleep on. Luckily I brought an air mattress and my son slept on that with the stinky linnen that was provided in the closet. One of the beds had sand in it and the sheets were very bally like the were not washed properly. I frequently travel with my children and this had to be the WORST rental I have ever been in. It gets two stars because the beach was amazing and the restaurant next to it has amazing food.

Room needs some minor repairs. Couch and chair needs cleaning Room was clean though and grounds were well kept. If I stay again I might look for another room to get one that is a little nicer but for the money this one was good.

It's a room with two beds a couch and small kitchen with pools at bottom level. Good if you enjoy the beach!

Time spent with granddaughters

A weekend with my granddaughters and the time was well enjoyed. The beds are a little hard. Overall it was ok minus the few hang ups in the beginning and the water to the toilet was not turned on in our room.

Oceanview on the beach

I was pleased with the place overall. Clean room great staff and awesome location. Can easily walk to a lot of things to do. It's older but for the price it was well worth the money.
