Jubilee sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico. All five bedrooms have wonderful views of the beach.


On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms. The first room is the bunk bed room; great for the kids. The next two rooms are queen size beds and have amazing views! The fourth room on the first floor has a king size bed and a shared bathroom between rooms 3 and 4. There is also another bathroom for the 1st and 2nd rooms.


The second floor of this home is spectacular. The views are breathtaking with large open windows to soak it all in. This is the living area of the home. There are living, dining and kitchen areas all wide and open. In the living area there is a large, flat screen TV over a fireplace. (This is an aesthetic feature only.) The kitchen has top of the line appliances and gorgeous cabinets. The best part of this whole floor is the screened in porch off of the kitchen with plenty of sitting/sleeping choices! There is a half bath on this floor.


The master suite of this home takes up the entire third floor! This room has a king sized bed and a gorgeous full bath. Of course, the views are amazing up here too!

Great views and location. Nice beds. The house needs attention and repairs in several areas, which we have shared with the property manager. One annoying discovery, there was supposed to be a welcome package that included essentials, but we didn’t get it, so we had to buy some basic items like salt & pepper, coffee and filters, etc. The house also does not come with any beach equipment. Note that you have to retrieve a key from the property manager to get access which is rare step these days. Port St Joe is a cute town.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Right on the beach. There was debris from the past hurricane so we had to be careful in the ocean but the home is beautiful and spacious. Perfect for our family of 9 to stay comfortably.

Jubilee was beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds. Amazing views of the beach and ocean! The beach was steps from the back door. The large screened in porch was a great gathering space. Management was quick to address minor requests. There are lots of stairs in this unit. Be prepared. You will need beach chairs. The house could use some cosmetic repairs and a good cleaning. Over all, Jubilee, is a great vacation house!

This home is beautiful and spacious with stunning views from every floor. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay; it was truly a great week for our family! Upon arrival, the grill was damaged so when we contacted the agency, they immediately ordered us a new one. Delivery was out of their control so it arrived on our last day there; however, they discounted an extra day due to the inconvenience. Truly great service! Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the home upon check in. Toilets were sanitized but there was sand in the showers. There was also black dog hair everywhere on the living floor and on the screened in porch. The shag rug on the second floor was full of sand and dog hair; I would really just throw it away and do without a rug in a beach house. Our feet were black after walking around the living and kitchen areas. With a baby that crawls, we had to spend our first evening cleaning. The beach is being restored and the agency let us know of the presence of crews next door in preparation so we appreciated that. What we didn’t know was that there would be a huge submerged pipeline in the backyard obstructing our beach view. However, it made for a great conversation piece and was fun for our kids to watch the tractors go out every morning and watch them dig it up. These are not things that would ever prevent us from renting with Coastal Joe again. We made the best of our stay and left with so many great memories! We are looking forward to returning next time.

We just returned from the most incredible stay at this beach house, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!The location is unbeatable; you are literally right on the most beautiful, stretch of beach imaginable. The house itself is enormous and easily accommodated our whole group with plenty of room to spare. But the highlight, besides the beach itself, has to be the gorgeous screened porch. We spent time out there, enjoying the sea breeze without worrying about bugs.For us, the biggest and most exciting surprise was the unique entertainment provided by the daily military plane flyovers. They were exhilarating and a wonderful reminder of the brave men and women serving our country—we truly appreciated seeing them and extended our thanks to our military by waving our flags high, even receiving several wing wags in return. And speaking of wildlife, the natural spectacle didn't end there! We were thrilled to spot majestic bald eagles soaring overhead, watched ospreys catching fish right in front of the house, and the dolphin sightings from the living room window were a daily occurrence! Watching all this action while sipping coffee was the perfect way to start the day.If you are looking for space, views, serenity, and a little bit of unexpected excitement, book this place now. We can't wait to return!

Perhaps one of our favorite traits of this home is the short walk to the beach. It was no task to bring everything down each morning and back up each night. We had guests as young as two years old and as old as 40 and everyone of us so sad to leave. We all had a fantastic time. Definitely recommend this home for your ultimate beach vacation.

The screen porch was a real disappointment as the furniture was mildewed and stained. The sofa in the main area was cheap and uncomfortable.Finally we experienced vehicle damage from falling rotted siding. So far neither the owner or Coastal Joe has made our loss right.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was awesome. I really loved the screen in porch. It had a great cross wind that kept it comfortable. It had great views from both sides. The ice maker came in very handy. All of the bedrooms were a good size. The bunk bed room needs curtains. I enjoyed the steam in the master shower. There are a lot of stairs, since you park under the house and there are three stories to the house. The only real negative was the beach has been washed away from the hurricane and tropical depression, which we were not notified of in advance. There are no stairs to the beach but fortunately the next door neighbors let us us their stairs to get the beach.

The only downside of this home is that there is literally no water pressure in the (otherwise) spacious top floor bedroom. The owners must address this. When we did get a little water pressure the water never warmed up. This was such an unusual event in what is clearly a five-star home. The screened porch is also a nice respite from the heat (and bugs) where you can enjoy views of both the gorgeous bay AND the beautiful surf. One other (minor) suggestion: more silverware please! With 7 adults and 7 kids, we often ran out of utensils. Also, Coastal Joes has first class service and are always responsive to customers!

First of all, you can't beat the location. We've stayed in many homes on the beach in Cape San Blas but this was by far the closest. You feel like you're going to fall into the ocean when you're looking out the windows. It was a wonderful location. Also, the staff at Coastal Joe was very polite and seemed to genuinely want to help. Other than those things though, the overall experience was pretty gross. I'm unsure of why a cleaning fee is charged because there's no way that property is ever properly cleaned. I'm a realist, so I expect that the property is sandy and things are obviously used, etc. However, the bathrooms (showers specifically) were disgusting. If I dropped anything in the shower, I threw it away. Mold, mildew, soap scum, rust stains galore. There were several lights that didn't work throughout the property. The internet didn't work for 4 days and no one knew where the router was to reset it (it's under the living room couch). When we arrived, a fuse had blown so 2 of the downstairs rooms didn't have any power. The cabinets, side tables, doors, and several other surfaces had mystery stains. It's impossible to get the dishes cleaned in the dishwasher, plus it smells awful. We wanted to love this house. We love the area and stay there at least once per year. But we'll never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Cape San Blas never disappoints but this house—STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! I did attempt to attach photos

CSB is a family favorite of ours! We have been coming almost annually for the last 10 years and it never disappoints. We did not make it to the Cape in 2024 and I’m aware that there has been some pretty aggressive weather to say the least.I’ve looked at this house many times when passing by and it just always looked so gorgeous but it was also really out of our price range during prime season. However, this year we were coming earlier and so it was doable.The house has been mostly left to slowly fall apart. It was not very clean and the showers had thick black mold in them. The grill looked like it would fall apart if you just touched it and there were ants that just kept coming and crawling around the third floor bathroom sink andall over the kitchen counter near the sink. The washing machine had to consistently be adjusted to each cycle or it wouldn’t run. There was also a cracked window on the main living floor. Because of beach erosion, which, of course the owner would have no control over the house is sitting almost directly on the ocean, and the two houses prior to have basically fallen into the ocean. So there’s really not much beach. But the old boardwalk that went over, the dune is still there with a board across it. It’s collapsing, and there was rebar and giant chunks of concrete all through the beach, which was pretty small in front of the house. I did go and get a rake to clean those hazards out for my family. Definitely visit CBS but STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Regarding the condition of the beach and the erosion issues — you are absolutely right. Coastal erosion has significantly impacted many homes in the area, including this one, and while we can’t control the forces of nature, we take guest safety very seriously. The boardwalk and debris you mentioned are now being reviewed for proper removal or repair to make the area more secure for future visitors. Jubilee has always stood out for its beautiful location and unique charm, but your comments make it clear that updates and repairs are needed to bring it back to the standard our guests deserve.

Nothing had been swept at all. Master suite smelt of dog urine. Bedbugs or fleas were eating up the girls. I've stayed at the Cape for years and the first time I stayed beach front. I was so disappointed for what you pay for it to not be cape quality. The beach was nice, be factor the wind in when renting this place. Very windy. Will NOT RENT AGAIN. DID NOT LIKE THIS PLACE. NOT GUEST FRIENDLY AT ALL. Beds not that comfortable either. Hate I paid that much for that property. Definitely not worth it. Would not recommend 😕

The Best Views!

I would say that cleanliness could be better (I am sure good help is hard to find right now) and definitely could use a handyman to fix several minor things throughout the home. The shower in the downstairs master was difficult because one of the knobs is broken so you cant change the water pressure from one shower head to another, so washing long hair was not easy. And the master shower on third floor was either scalding hot (and I do mean SCALDING) or cold. But after several showers, we just dealt with it. Where the home may lack in the "needs to be fixed" area and cleanliness, it makes up for in convenience and the VIEWS! Didn't complain to mgmt, because we didn't want to fuss on vacation. We live a stressful life and came to relax, not complain. So we cleaned ourselves and enjoyed our stay! Management was absolutely GREAT to work with, anytime we did need something or had a question. The smoke detector malfunctioned while we were there and went off throughout the home. They repaired immediately. I will definitely rent from Coastal Joes again!

We experienced a major problem, upon arrival, in regards to the cleanliness of the beds in the bunk room; we contacted Coastal Joe staff and they came right out, pulled the linens and put on clean comforters & linens. We ran out of gas for the grill, but once again, they came right out and took care of us! Customer service was wonderful! -We are used to having some sort of water accessories (floaties, skim boards, etc) but this house did not have any. We had to buy those items, which was difficult when re-packing to go home and wouldn't have been an option if we had flown. The house is in need of small repairs here and there, especially in a couple of the bathrooms (loose tiles, towel hangers not anchored). The one thing, and we communicated this to the staff, the cleaning of their rental greatly lacked. We were told they had turned that property around for 20 weeks in a row and they only have a 4 hour window between exit and new tenants coming in. I'm sure it is hard to find good help given Cape San Blas is a small community and someone coming in from out of town to clean probably isn't an option. Without going into great detail, it was very dirty, so much so, it would make us think twice about staying there again, which is unfortunate because the house and location are pretty amazing.

Thank you for your very thorough review, comments and suggestions. We rely and value the suggestions of our guests and truly appreciate constructive feedback. While it is true that most of these homes only have a short window to get in there and clean, that is no excuse for a home that is not up to your standards. I am a bit surprised because we have had the same cleaner in there all summer and she has had great reviews, for the most part. I guess they can all have a bad day here or there. For future guests reading this; please know that if you check into your rental home and the cleaning is sub standard we want you to call our office and allow us to fix it! We do have inspectors that go in and check the home after a clean but things can be missed and we have no problem sending someone out to fix any cleaning issues upon arrival.

Should be condemned

Totally disappointed in Jubilee! Location was nice on a quiet stretch of the beach. That is where the "good" stopped. Showers were covered in black mildew/mold. Sent someone to clean it but it needed much more. remnants of dog feces on the rug in the family room. A/C filters had not been changed in almost a year, even though place was rented out to tenants with dogs. Upstairs bathroom was a disaster. Something growing on the shower floor, no hot water, very little water pressure. Running the dishwasher was a waste of time as not enough water to clean the dishes. Unit needed a lot of work. Oven was supported by a block of wood on one side and nothing on the other. Dangerous exposed rusty wire in back from a sand dune fence by the beach. Ice maker did not work. Pictures showed wine fridge or ice maker but was just an empty space in the cabinet. Full trash cans were at the street when we arrived so no room for our garbage until next pick up day. Host said we could bring our trash down to the office.. Kitchen trash can had not been cleaned, A/C vents throughout the house covered in black mold/mildew. We ended up leaving a day early as several of us were having breathing problems likely from the mold. We paid a premium for the rental and certainly didn't get what we paid for. Emails to the host have gone unanswered. Definitely don't recommend!

We certainly welcome the feedback, and really wish that we could have addressed all of these items while the guest was here. A cleaner was dispatched to the house to wipe down the mildew in the shower. Mildew is a constant battle in Florida. Air vents will form condensation when doors and windows are constantly being opened and the warm air enters the home.The hot water does work in that particular shower, but the shower control valve needs to be replaced. This has been ordered, and will be replaced as soon as it comes in. All air filters are replaced on a monthly basis. There was 1 filter in the master bedroom that was never pulled, but it's not the main filter and serves no purpose with the current unit set up. The icemaker no longer works and the owner decided not to replace it, so we do apologize for not realizing the picture was still on the website. This has been removed.

The views from this property were extraordinary! And so close to the water on the beach! It was amazing to watch the pelicans fly by so close, I felt I could reach out and touch them!

More trouble than worth

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don’t waste your time or money. It looks nice in pictures but the only thing that was great was the view and location. When we arrived at the rental I was blown away by the location, we then went inside and slowly started unraveling all the issues. The upstairs shower and sink is unusable due to the lack of pressure “hardly enough to brush your teeth”. Upstairs had no hot water as well. All bathroom shower heads were filthy and extremely dated “I wouldn’t care so much for it being dated, but they simply did not work well considering”. We noticed immediately that the place smelled like mildew and dog pee “the rug had multiple pee stains”. I also seen mold everywhere. My entire family ended up having headaches, sore throat, etc. by the end of it all. There was no way of getting any ice. no ice maker as advertised, just a hole in the cabinet where it once was. The fridge also had no way of providing any filtered water or ice. We had ants ABSOLUTELY everywhere, even in our beds. Every single pot and pan was disgusting and had left over food on them all. We had to wash every one of them by hand after we found out that the dishwasher didn’t do the trick because of the terrible water pressure. We ended up hand washing all week. We had to clean everywhere before we were satisfied to even unpack our things. It was filthy, and the amount of sand in the home was unreal. To top it all, the washer quit working on the second day there. A repairman was able to fix the issue a day later thankfully!None of the bathroom doors lock and the TVs did not work downstairs until another repairman came out. We ended up not having internet for two days due to more complications. The list of misfortunes our family endured during this trip was an unreasonable amount. We spent a large majority of our vacation troubleshooting these issues, along with letting repairmen in and out of the home the entire week. My entire family feels robb

Views were amazing. appeared to be black mold on the ceiling vents and ceiling in the sitting area, carpenter ants are invading lower level. Windows in bunk room leaked during storm. Very little water pressure in master bath, no hot water for 3 and 1/2 days. Very disappointed i received no response from a staff member about a request.

We had a couple of minor issues with hot water and draining in the 3rd floor bathroom but it was taken care of promptly. I would highly recommend this property for your next beach vacation!

There is a vacant lot beside it and a home under construction on the other side. The views from the living room were priceless. Home was in need of repairs, but nothing major.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house. It was perfect for our family’s needs. It does need some cosmetic TLC, it was not a huge deal with us. The beds are very comfortable. The house is in an area where you don’t have to worry with people driving on the beach, which was nice. We loved the screened in porch and under the house, you could sit in a chair out of the sun and see the beach. We have been coming to Cape San Blas for nearly 10 yrs and this was our favorite house yet. We’ll definitely be coming back next yr.
