Quiet top (2nd) floor unit, recently updated. Great room with leather sofa-bed and a recliner. Wall mounted TV. Nice size dining room table. Kitchen with everything you could possibly want including coffee maker & Nespresso machine plus stainless steel appliances. Full size washer and dryer. Granite counter tops in both kitchen and bathroom. Bathroom was recently refreshed, and has a nice sized garden tub. The bedroom has a king size bed and a walk-in closet.

A large balcony overlooking the pool and green grass area is perfect for early morning coffee or evening cocktails. A photo of the view is included.

Located adjacent to Foothills Golf Club. Condo is 10 minutes from Whirlwind Golf, Wild Horse Pass Casino, Firebird Motorsports Park. A YMCA is just down the road, or use the fitness center on site. This is a perfect place for vacation, corporate re-location or any other reason to enjoy our Valley of the Sun.

Long stay

The property and adjacent amenities are perfect for short or long stays. I stayed a month and felt at home. Covered parking a plus in July. Communication was easy and consistent. Plenty of places to eat, shop and play within short drives, some within walking distance.

A Good time in the Foothills.

Doug is a wonderful host. The condo is very cozy and well stocked and the community is welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed how accessible the condo is to the main freeways. There are beautiful hiking trails, stores and restaurants close by and a beautiful park within walking distance. The pools and fitness center, grill areas, and beautiful pond added to a beautiful stay. Thank you! Chuck and Kathy

Make sure nothing goes wrong!

Y’all. Let. Me. Tell. You. It was a wonderful stay until… there was water in the bathroom. His bathroom got some water on the ground that cause a leak in the unit below. The calls. The people coming in and out of the apartment. And seemingly a resolved non-issue. But a week after I leave. This guy hits me with a $200 fine. For “overflowing the sink”. I wasn’t even using the bathroom!!! What does that even mean? Who does that anymore? There was no reason he should have thought that! And then he accused me of lying. I was mad insulted. I have the insurance through vrbo that covers it. THANKFULLY! But if you stay here be ready!!!! It’s all good until he needs to pay for something :( But tbh other than that it was pretty chill. The pool is nice and hardly anyone was ever there.

Thank you for the review. The "water in the bathroom" was a flood large enough to cause the occupant of the unit directly below to make an emergency report about water entering thru their ceiling. The "people coming in and out" were the condo manager that came right away plus an inspector who came later that day. Both visits were cleared by you. A major inspection took place after you departed, on Sep. 30; the plumbing checked out fine. Your damage deposit (not a "fine") is being held until an estimate of all damages is finalized. My comment, after all inspections were done and a cause was determined, was that I wish you had been more "forthright" about what occurred. Flooding, to the extent water enters the unit below, is not, as stated, a "non-issue"

Great condo to stay at for longer periods of time

I was here for the summer for a little over two months. The condo is very clean, and is well stocked in terms of cookware, appliances, and cleaning supplies. Doug was also very responsive and was always able to help me with what I needed. It was a great stay, and I had basically no complaints. Long or short stay, book this place, it’s awesome.

We felt we were home away from home. It was clean and cozy. It had everything that you would possibly need for supplies.The bed was super comfortable and there was a nice view of the pool. We definitely want to stay again. 5 star for sure.

Beautiful property

The owner (Doug) has a beautiful condo at the Foothills, AZ. All the appliances and furniture we're of excellent quality and the view from the porch overlooking the swimming pool which is heated is beautiful. The South Mountain is in total view of the windows. I would highly recommend anybody interested in staying at this condo to do so. Doug I hope you let me come back soon.

The bed was comfy, the apt was very nice & cozy & access to the clubhouse was great. It was well equipped with dishes, pans, washer & dryer. Overall it was a great place to stay. On the downside the TV was a bit difficult to manage. Too many remotes; no instructions to get cable to DVD input. It was confusing. A few things that need attention: Toilet head needs to be fixed; change out flush valve & rubber washer in tank.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. Loved the complex, especially the pool! The area was quiet and easy to get to off a major road. We had pretty much everything we needed provided in the condo. Any questions we had were promptly answered by the owner. Great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Doug's wonderful condo!! The space was great, the furnishings were nice, it was very clean & the bed was very comfortable. The balcony is large & overlooks the beautiful pool area. The location in the complex was awesome & the complex was peaceful. The neighborhood was also great for long walks & is close to hiking, grocery stores & a short drive to restaurants. Doug was extremely easy to communicate with & we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
