Lady's Island stay

Very nice and accommodating owner. We rented in order to visit family on the area and didn't do any sightseeing. House was easy to drive to and from other parts of the island. Property is well taken care of and furnished nicely.

Great Lady's Island stay

My husband and I stayed with our small dog for a few days before moving into our new home on Lady's Island. This was a great location for us - close to grocery stores, Grayco, and restaurants. Sallyanne's place is clean, comfortable and exactly as described. We recommend it!

Amazing Place!!!

We had a fantastic time at this property. The owner was super helpful and very friendly and down to earth. The people who live below were also fantastic and super helpful with tips of places to check out around the area. Our pups loved the backyard and the pass to Hunting Island was amazing!! It’s a beautiful place close to the beach and also about an hour from Savannah and Charleston. We would definitely stay again!

Lady Island Retreat

We came to Lady Island to explore the history and charm of South Carolina’s low country. This property is ten minutes from Beaufort and an hour to ninety minutes from other areas like Hilton Head, Savannah and Charleston. This is also a great place for your fur babies who can run and play in a fenced area.Our host was gracious and responsive to any needs or questions about the area. So, if your going to explore the history of this area, the numerous state parks or simply chill out you will not be disappointed with this property.

This was a nice place to stay. Very clean and comfortable in a very quiet setting and pretty close to the Marine Bases that I was there for. Beaufort is a nice place and very quaint. The owner is very through and really very detailed. She had a binder detailing everything in area, phone numbers, park and restaurants, etc. The house has everything one would need from all bathroom supplies,kitchen supplies and every appliance. Supplied coffee,paper towels, toilet paper, all linens.... absolutely everything covered. We needed to buy nothing. Thanks so Much!!!! We will certainly stay here again when in town seeing our son.

Cute, Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

This was the perfect getaway for our family of four plus a dog. The large fenced in yard was a great place for our dog to run around. Everything was included, which made for easy packing, especially considering our 13 hour drive. After our daily excursions, which were never more than a half hour drive with this convenient location, we always looked forward to sitting on the porch with a drink. Although you can hear the traffic from the busy road, we felt for the price and the location, we didn't mind the traffic sound. The house is on a large property that sits at the end of a glorious quintessential southern road, perfect for early morning runs/walks. Sallyanne, our gracious host, was most accessible when we reached out to her. We plan on coming back here!

Family reunion

Everything at the cottage was perfect for our use. We were coming from a long distance and arrived late, but were able to get in using the lockbox. The kitchen table was great for working. The beds (including the couch) were comfortable and the rooms dark enough to sleep. We come from a city, so it was a treat to be able to let our dog enjoy the big backyard. One of the gates didn't latch but we barricaded it from the inside when in use. We made extensive use of the kitchen, which seemed to have just the pans, etc., we needed (including a bullet for smoothies), plus flour and sugar canisters for those like us who don't go a week without baking. We made an effort to be thoughtful about how we parked, but at one point we had 3 cars and there was space for all of them. I could go on and on, but bottom line is that it suited us (4 adults, one 6 yo, and a dog) perfectly, the host was lovely, and we had a great time.

Yes, it was very welcoming to pets. Food and water dishes were available, and the huge, private, fully-fenced side yard was great for our pup. She also loved the front porch which was gated on both ends. She liked looking down on the world from the second floor. There was plenty of parking available for us, our guests, and the downstairs resident.
