It's a pleasant 5 minute walk to the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte with shops, galleries and restaurants and just two blocks away is the free ski bus stop. Be sure to check out the Center for the Arts’ Alpenglow, a free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer, located only one block from the house. The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom located on the first level plus a washer dryer closet. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The second floor has an open plan with the kitchen, dining, and living area where you can relax and enjoy the large back deck overlooking the yard. The second half bathroom is also located on the second level. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room for additional guests.
The kitchen being located on the second floor allows the cook to still be part of all the fun while enjoying the scenery. Kitchen equipped with refrigerators, 2 freezer drawers for optimum counter space, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and all cookware & dinnerware. Windows surround the upstairs living/dinning area and kitchen keeping it bright and sunny. Amenities include television with Amazon firestick, board games and wi-fi. The bathroom is stocked with plush bath towels, hair dryer and extra toiletries available. Relax on the porch with a beverage or prepare dinner on the gas grill while enjoying the backyard and the many Humming birds that often visit the house for a sip from the feeder. The duplex's shared backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped with flowers and mature aspen trees, as well as a flagstone walkway & patio seating area. The large grassy area is perfect for our four-legged visitors. There is a gravel driveway as well as parking in front of the house, although a vehicle is unnecessary since everything in town is within walking distance and the shuttle (two blocks from house) will take you up to the Mt. Crested Butte base area.
