Property was well maintained and extremely clean. Excellent location within walking distance of the beach and Village. My boys enjoyed fishing from the dock and caught several Mango Snappers, Channel Cats, and Snook! Beds were super comfy. I even eneded up asking the host for mattress information! It was a perfect stay!

This house was a primary reason we had such a great week of vacation. Check in and first day were easy after a quick tour from Mimi. The house was spotless and ready for our arrival. We usually try to drive for vacation so we have all our beach items, but while we flew this time it wasn't an issue, all the things you need are already there. The kitchen was fully set up and we made plenty of meals for all of us. The ammenities with the pool (which was bigger and deeper than the pics show which was nice), hot tub (almost brand new), covered lanai, dock to fish the canal, wifi (super fast and could easily stream movies), and kayaks were all super fun. But the garage is the best, it had everything we needed for a great day at the beach: chairs, umbrella, towels, floats, coolers, and a wagon and cart to make the five minute walk to the beach super easy. Good tip for the beach, use access 11 but then go right a minute or two and you will have all the space you want even on the busiest beach days. We also loved the bikes, they were easy to ride and can get you to the shops in only a few minutes for shopping, dinner, etc. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone headed for Siesta Key!

Family Beach Trip

We had a great time in Siesta Key ( even though we had rainy weather for most of the week!) We went to the beach. We grilled out. We swam in the pool. My husband and I used the Kayaks. Mimi was a great host, and the house was just as pictured

Siesta Key Vacation

We have rented in Siesta Key many times, and this was by far our favorite vacation spot! The home is beautiful, very clean, and well appointed.My wife and I stayed here along with two of our grandsons. The home is an easy walk to the beach, just at the end of the street. We used the beach gear that is provided everyday ( beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, and toys). Downtown is walkable, about a mile, or we rode the new bikes that are provided. The patio area is big and has lots of seating and dining spaces. The pool was great and larger than we expected. The pool cover kept the water temperature very comfortable. The hot tub is very relaxing after swim.There are plenty of kayaks to use. We used them to explore the area. There are miles of kayaking you can do right from the dock in the back yard. Mimi is a fantastic host! She messaged us a couple days prior to our arrival to welcome us and check our ETA, and on our arrival day she met us at the house and gave us a tour of the house and property. Mimi checked in with us during our stay to see how our stay was going and gave us ideas for fun things to do with the kids. (Drum circle!) We really enjoyed meeting her and appreciated her kind welcome.

Heaven on earth

Our stay was fantastic! Mimi was a wonderful host to deal with. She was on site to greet us and showed us the specifics of the house, pool, hot tub. the pool and hot tub were used every day, very clean and the high light of our trip. Mimi supplied everything you could imagine for the beach. towels, chairs, umbrella and loads of beach toys if you have children. She had several bikes that were in great shape and our group of 6 that are all over 60 years of age used them often. The beach of course was beautiful and only a few blocks away. Within walking distance. We had a great time and will certainly be returning for another stay at this great vacation home. Thank You Mimi for sharing your home with us. Great House and Location

Mimi, the house owner, met us at the house, gave us a tour and was very helpful. The house was perfect for our family of five! Very clean, and was exactly as the pictures showed. Would definitely be going back!

Summertime Beach Getaway

We absolutely loved our family's stay. I would give it 11 out of 10 if I could Mimi was a fabulous hostess, very helpful if you need anything. The pictures are beautiful because the property is so beautiful. The location was amazing - so close to the beach and the village We used the bikes (assortment for all ages) daily, and we loved the kayaks. The home is comfortable, super clean.very homey. with all the amenities you could want. We will definitely stay here again when we travel this way.

Perfection on Siesta Key

The photographs cannot do justice to this spacious home. We had a small family reunion here and spent our time in all the areas comfortably: joyous play in the pool, plentiful seating at the pool, shaded Adirondack chairs overlooking the canal, covered Florida room off the living room, and a spacious living room looking out to the canal. The kitchen has all the knives, utensils, appliances and dish wear we needed for cooking. We were so happy with the location. Walking to Siesta beach and a short drive to town. Loved the bicycles and the plentiful towels.

Perfect Getaway with a Stunning Pool and Amazing Amenities!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property! The house was immaculate, well-furnished, and provided all the comforts of home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the beautiful pool area. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and offered a refreshing escape from the summer heat. We spent most of our days lounging by the pool, enjoying the serene ambiance and lovely views. The amenities provided went above and beyond our expectations. The house came equipped with bicycles, which we used to explore the local area and coffee shops. Beach chairs and beach towels were provided, making our trips to the nearby beach hassle-free. We also made great use of the kayaks and fishing poles, enjoying several peaceful afternoons on the water. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the outdoor grill was a great addition for our evening barbecues. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for everyone. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, making the entire process seamless. What’s mine is yours during your stay

It’s like visiting your friends home, “What’s mine is yours during your stay”. Homeowner was accommodating and communicative before during and after our trip to ensure all of our needs were met. Couldn’t have asked for a better home to stay in, it was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to have the best vacation possible, from the kitchen to the kayaks, bicycles and beach going supplies, it was all right there. Home is conveniently located near all siesta key has to offer. We are looking forward to coming and staying again.

Great Vacation

Mimi is a wonderful host. We loved the house and the area. Beaches and restaurants are very close beautiful and fun. The neighborhood is as very quiet and peaceful. Old Florida feel with all the old trees, I loved it. She has all the chairs and umbrellas you could need for the beach which was very convenient. We loved playing ping pong and hanging out in the pool and hot tub. I would recommend for anyone. We will definitely be back.

Birthday getaway

We had a great time at Mimi's. We had a couple minor issues that she took care of immediately. It happened to be on a Sunday so she came out herself and took care of them. She is very responsive. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs And she is one of the best ones we have dealt with. This is her own property not just managed by a property manager which I feel like has made a big difference. There is everything you need it was a great stay.

I strive to provide a great vacation spot with many ammenities and great service. Holidays are a special time for ourselves and our families, so I keep this in mind and give attention to details. I continuously make improvements to the house to keep it beautiful and fun. I've lived in Sarasota since 1981. I speak English, Spanish, Un Peu De Français.

The house is very comfortable and only a few minutes walk to Siesta beach- which was ranked #1 in the USA in 2015, 2014 and 2011. The house is also on the Grand Canal- so you have waterfront and can kayak, or canoe through the canals which lead to the Inter-Coastal Waterways. Or, you can rent a boat and tie up to the dock. A private pool and extensive deck, which faces the sun all day, will make your holiday even more special.

Walk to beach- only 1.5 blocks (5 minutes). On the water- 125' on the Grand Canal- 2 kayaks provided and 1 canoe, or you can rent an boat and tie up. The canal is also fun for fishing right from the dock! The Siesta Key Village is not far- only 20 minutes walk, so you can have dinner at the local restaurants and pubs ,and maybe a Happy-Hour, and then have a nice leisure walk back home- or ride the bikes provided!
