Oceanview 3-bdrm home steps from beach! Heated pool & hot tub. Sleeps 8.

The Wobbly Pelican is available for rent post hurricane Milton! The home currently has a beautiful oceanfront view and the beach is just steps away! The entire exterior of the house is new including siding, windows, doors roof, & AC. The heated pool & hot tub were re-tiled / re-surfaced, have all new equipment, and a new privacy fence has been installed. The main elevated living floor has new flooring and paint among other updates. The house boasts two large decks – the back deck with direct bedroom access overlooks the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. It has 3 bedrooms (King, Queen, Queen + Full) and 2 full bathrooms. Access to washer and dryer. Maximum occupancy is 8. Property is located between public beach access 16 and 17 which is about 1/2 mile from the Publix grocery store to the north and 1/2 mile from CVS to the south.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn AC to 76. Turn SPA OFF (ie waterfall is ON). Sign out of all of your personal TV Apps. TV remotes in respective rooms on nightstand. Turn off all lights, shut all exterior doors and windows.
Only leave unopened food/drink. Leave all sheets on the beds – DO NOT strip. Start laundry with towels ONLY. All beach chairs, pool and beach toys, etc. are rinsed off and placed back the garage.
Lock ALL exterior doors – up and down. NOTE: If you are leaving before your required 10am check-out time, please notify us via text the day before departure so that cleaners can be notified.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The outdoor pool & hot tub were absolutely great. As a family we would spend most of our day at the beach (5min walk) and then we would spend the rest of the day in the outdoor pool area.

Great location

This location is minutes away from the grocery store & two great restaurants. Due to the hurricane damage they now have a great water view. Owner is friendly and accommodating. Needs a few upgrades but all in all a great place to stay.

Relaxing getaway

The hosts were soo responsive and helped us with any questions we had. The house was clean, and homey feeling. It had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be back!

My family had a great week at this FMB house. The pool and hot tub was great. It was an easy walk to the beach. We had a very nice view of the Gulf during our stay (June of 2025). There is a lot of ongoing construction in the area so the view could change. We had a minor hiccup accessing the home but the owner was very quick to fix the problem. I thought the house was accurately advertised and served us well. I would stay here again.

Amazing Location

Jen and Kevin's home was amazing and just what we needed for a long weekend get away with family and friends. The pool and downstairs patio were great after afternoons on the beach. They are super responsive, and let us check in early and out late. We would definitely look to book again next time we visited the area.

Totally Great

We had a lovely long weekend at this house. The pool and hot tub are really nice, and you’re super close to the beach for easy walks when you want to be on the sand. The trolley picks up right at the corner for easy trips into downtown. Can’t wait to come back!

Spring Break March 2024

Great place to stay! Very clean and plenty of room for family of 4. Walk to beach is about 2 minutes, and the beach is spectacular! The area is still recovering from hurricane, but the rebuilding is coming along quickly. It didn’t bother us any. We would recommend staying here 😎

FMB natives

I’m a FMB native and it was so great to see the island (slowly) returning to normal after the storms. The house now has an ocean view and was an easy walk to the beach. The pool was lovely and perfectly warm for the cool front. Beach house was clean, well-stocked and we enjoyed the ease of having beach chairs and towels available! Thank you for having us. We hope to book again when visiting family!

Great place to stay!

Property was great and the pool was amazing! We visited during a tropical storm, so didn’t spend much time at the beach although it was an easy walk. Communication with the owners was very wonderful, as well. We came for a girls trip so the only downside was the number of mirrors available for everyone to use while getting ready. There is one in each bathroom and a full body mirror in the master. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Family vacation

We had a beautiful week with family. The weather was perfect! The hosts are wonderful and accommodating through our communications. They truly care about you as guests by their communication and follow-up. The location of the house in perfect with Oceanview and centrally located on the island. The house is well appointed with anything that you would need. The pool and hot tube are clean and enjoyable with a great sitting area. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your little slice of heaven!

Good for families

Definitely would stay here again. It’s a nice property overall that comes with plenty of items to get setup for a day at the beach. Very short simple walk to the beach from the house. Our only complaint with the stay would be the complexity of the pool/spa heating functions and the remote. Some days it worked great, other days it didn’t seem to work at all.

Amazing Beachhouse

This property is gorgeous, with an amazing pool and hot tub plus two rooms with doors that open to the ocean (across the street). Could not recommend this enough! The hosts are very reliable and the neighbors are awesome. I will rent this home every time I am in Ft Myers! Cannot say enough great things about it! If you’re thinking about renting…. DO IT!

Perfect Pool for Kids

I stayed at this property with my three kids (6,5,2) and a friend of mine who also has 3 kids (7,5,2). The pool was our favorite! Perfect depth and layout for them. They played in here for hours every day. This property is a few minute walk to the beach. Beaches were not crowded, which was so nice! Kids could walk into the ocean ... and the sand was SO soft! Grocery store is a 10 minute walk down the main road, which was also great for us! Bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs were enough for us, so we didn’t even need to use the basement area to sleep. Plenty of room! Great communication with the owners, who responded timely with any questions we had! Would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful home

We found this place by chance and glad we did! Super cute with all the things we needed. Very clean & organized home. Bathroom had small bar soap, shampoo/conditioner; plenty of toilet paper & hand soap in bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked with all the normal items needed for cooking plus some. There was dishwasher tablets, dish soap, paper towels, ziplock bags, foil, & Saran Wrap. Spices, olive oils, variety of coffees, & condiments left in refrigerator. Plenty of blankets, pillows, bath towels, & beach towels. There is also a collection of sunblocks and after sun lotions. Pool / heated spa with lights. Ocean/beach is a short walk. Outdoor items for beach/pool: chairs, floats, pool noodles, boogie board, umbrella, beach toys, & wagon to carry it all if desired. *The downstairs area is in process of remodel but there is a washer & dryer with many laundry soaps/ dryer sheets available. Love to find a place that allows leftover items to remain in the home & not wipe it clean after each guest- thank you! Our first time in the Fort Meyers area & this place did not disappoint! Wonderful!

Great location; needs some love

The location was a short walk to the beach which was fantastic! The owners were great in responding to email questions and via text message which was greatly appreciated. The place is very cute; however, it was not completely clear that the 4th bedroom and bathroom were totally separate from the rest of the house. This would not be a problem if it were all adults, but we did not use this space at all because we had children with us. The kids did share the room with the bunk beds but the top bunk was not safe to sleep in as the bar across was bunk was extremely loose. The place itself was clean; however, we were really disappointed with the towels and bed sheets containing stains. Unfortunately, we could not sit outside on the porch because the garbage pails smelled like rotten shellfish so the whole outside was very smelly. The pool was kept up very nicely and very clean and it was very private in the backyard that was filled with trees. We were able to sit back there and enjoy it! The garage included floats, pads for the chairs, and other beach items. The house is right down the block from Publix which was very convenient.
