This beautifully renovated home offers 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and backs up into a massive rock hill. It’s like you’re staying right in the caves. Our home features a large 7 person hot tub that sits just beneath the rocks for the most relaxing and serene view. Beautiful Amish furniture is furnished throughout the home. The bunk room, kids’ game room, and a separate family game room make this home a perfect getaway for families and friends of all ages. Situated on 11 acres and less than 3 miles to Cantwell Cliffs, 7 miles to Rockhouse, 12 miles to Old Mans Cave, and minutes to all other Hocking Hills attractions.

The house was as listed on the site and what we've come to expect from past visits. Everything in the kitchen worked and was very clean. Some members of our group enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and the fire pit at the bottom of the hill made for an enjoyable evening under the stars. Everything was perfect at Rockhill Retreat! We celebrated a combined bachelor and bachelorette trip, and it was the perfect location for our group. We were able to stay up late and enjoy ourselves without worrying about disturbing nearby neighbors. The space was clean, comfortable, and very inviting.The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was weak and difficult to use at times. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Rockhill Retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near Hocking Hills.

The Rock Hill Retreat was a wonderful property. The space was clean and had lots of room for many guests. The property was accurate to the listing, although the fire pit was kind of far from the actual house. Lots of rooms and beds for adults. There were many beds for kids or teens as well in the basement. The deck had a nice view for morning coffee or afternoon meditation. The only downside was that the hot tub was very hot. Otherwise it was a great stay and lots of activities to keep you busy and having fun!

The host was great and so was the property! Plenty of room, we laughed and played family card games! The game rooms were a big hit and we enjoyed some snowy trails! The hot tub was fun! Definitely recommend!!
My daughter & I had coffee on the deck! We didn’t care that it was a little chilly!
Plenty of room for eating with cousins.
Special moment by the fire!! 💕 Family!

Board game weekend

Rock hill retreat was a great place for our group. The bunk bed room provided tons of individual beds, and there were several tables and places for different board games to happen.

NYE getaway

We really enjoyed the property and surrounding area. Love that the host includes towels, linens and basic toiletries bc it makes packing for a family of 5 a lot easier! Highly suggest this as a rental.

The bunk room and game room were awesome. The kids and teens had a fun. The XBox didn't work. One tub and one sink were all clogged up. We had to fix them. The cupards and window sills are filthy. Shower curtain in downstairs bathroom was all MOLDY. The hot tub was nice and clean. The outdoor furniture is moldy. Master bath jet tub doesn't hold water. There is an electrical smell in the game room coming from the electrical panel. Beautiful place, just needs some TLC and a GOOD cleaning. I've rented lots of homes and condos. This would not be one of my favorites. Also, all the fans are covered in dust. We didn't want to use them.

Cabrew Weekend 2022

This was our couple's group 9th year coming to Hocking to cabrew. We stayed at Rock Hill Retreat and had an amazing time. It is by far the best property we have stayed in. There was more than enough room, a beautiful setting (deck and hot tub included), and a wonderful firepit area we enjoyed on Friday night. Would absolultely stay here again!

Rock Hill Retreat

It was a nice place. Rooms were clean and check in and check out were very easy. They listed slow internet but there was actually no internet and no cell service which makes it very difficult if you need to check into work. If they had internet I would stay there again.

Thank you for your review. I did check the Internet service, and because it is satellite Internet, it is definitely slower, but perhaps it was your cell phone provider as well, because when we checked today we had both Internet and cell service while at the cabin. We do hope to see you again.
