Corner Unit Oceanfront Condo

This beautifully remodeled condo is situated in an incredible location just above the beach and tidepools and has its own private deck (as well a separate, large shared deck). With views from the Cayucos pier all the way to Morro Bay and Morro Rock, this is the perfect, relaxing spot to enjoy the sunset and watch the surfers catch some waves. Everything in the unit is brand new - from the floors and appliances to the furnishings and linens. This unit also offers an electric fireplace, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, and its own stackable washer and dryer, which can be rare in these condos. This unit is also on the ground floor and requires no stairs! Additional larger laundry facilities are available in the coin-operated laundry room onsite. SMALL PET (30 lbs or less) ONLY. Parking for one vehicle only onsite; additional parking is on the street only.

This is a professionally managed Vacation Rental that is licensed with the County of San Luis Obispo.

room could have been cleaner. there was no dishwashing soap, minimal supplies, dirty windows and no trash bags. the room also has mice running around. none of this lessened the stay, just suggest a bit of tlc

Spectacular view of Cayucos Pier, Morro Rock, and beyond. Inside patio breakfast nook the perfect way to start the day. Kitchen has an ocean view. Bathroom and kitchen appear to have been recently updated and nicely done! Can't wait to return. Not for someone looking for peace and quiet......waves crashing outside nonstop!!!!

The view!!

You can't get much closer to the waves, and it's wonderful to see the all the tidal stages and ocean conditions. Condo is clean, comfortable, and well as tocked. Excellent and interesting guest book!

Perfect getaway

Quiet and beautiful location without noise, crowds and a place to unwind, walk on the beach with our dog. The views of the ocean are majestic, great tide sounds with colorful sunsets.

The views from this property are outstanding. The unit itself was neat and well-supplied. The kitchen and main bathroom have been upgraded; we hope the windows and entry way are next. The bed is comfortable! It seems that a private balcony will be added soon, which will be a nice addition. The floor design of the unit is fantastic....so many good views of the ocean.

Cayucos visit

We had a nice visit to Cayucos The inside is much nicer than the outside of the property. The best thing about this u it are the large windows and views. Will be better when there is a private deck. The entrance of the unit could be cleaned up some. Need new linens and bedding especially towels and bath mats. Need to get rid of faded fake plants and flowers. There were some cob webs in the kitchen.

Million dollar view

The condo is exactly like pictured, and the views were absolutely amazing. It was an easy access to the beach. The deck is shared by another condo, but we were lucky enough not to have anybody next to us or above us. Downtown is a short walk from the condo. The one negative I have to say is that when we checked and there were a lot of bugs. They were like gnats that were in our drinks in our food and we’re absolutely horrible. We called our host and they immediately brought us some apple cider vinegar and detergent to put in cups around the house, which did attract the gnats and get rid of them eventually. The condo does need a little more upkeep. It was dusty and it could use a coat of paint here in there, but overall you can’t beat the view or the location. It was a wonderful weekend.

Mixed bag

Pretty good: very comfortable bed and living room furniture, well-equipped kitchen, adequate space, great location right above the beach, with a panoramic view of the ocean and Cayucus. However, it was poorly maintained -- bathroom and kitchen not adequately clean, window screens falling off, and I was unable to unlock the front door by myself, due to a poor fit between the door's deadbolt and the space for it in the doorway. These problems and others were aggravated by a dysfunctional web site, the lack of instructions in the condo, and quite misleading and incomplete instructions supplied at check-in. Also, when I tried to buy trip insurance prior to checking in, the staff were quite unhelpful, and the VRBO web site was also useless, partly because some critical features didn't work -- e.g., I couldn't sign in to my account, etc. So, while I had a enjoyable time and appreciated the amenities of the condo, I was quite dissatisfied with the management, customer support, and web site.

Hi Nancy: Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you had so many issues. As we explained to you, because you booked through this platform, we had no control over your trip insurance purchase. We actually did spend quite a bit of time trying to assist you in this process, so to say we were unhelpful is rather unfair. We will address the cleaning (although the only item you mentioned to us was that the countertops were sticky and this could be a result of the cleaning product used) and the window screens. No other guests have had issues with the front door lock; however, we will look into this as well.
