The first floor hosts the first bedroom with a queen-size bed and a 25 in, HD, flat-screen tv, with local channels, cableTV, and cromecast. The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. The roomy bathroom has a tub/shower and a stackable washer/dryer combo. The comfortable living and dining room accommodates 2 on the pull-out, sleeper sofa, and a 40 inchHD flat-screen tv with cable. The second-floor loft has three twin beds and a skylight that lets in natural light. The unit comes with one parking space, Wi-Fi, free bed linens, and towels.

This 3rd floor, unit has elevator access and keyless entry, and it sits on prime property, which has an outdoor, in-ground pool and a paved courtyard. Nice stay

If your looking for a safe clean place to stay this is it. No frills but nice, the location is great and your right across the street from the ocean. When you standing out on the balcony you get a glimpse of the ocean.

Unfortunately Kevin has chosen to leave a bad review because I had to put in an insurance claim because he and his family damaged and took items from my condo. Instead of owning up to what he and his family did he has chosen to lie and bring down my 5 star ratings. As far as the check in time, my place and thousands of other places in the area have a 4:00pm check in time. The cleaning personnel need time to clean after the last person checks out. Unfortunately the people that booked before Kevin also left the place a mess. My daughter and the cleaning personnel witnessed the damage and they sent pictures before and after the place was cleaned. I had to file a claim on them as well. The difference is the guests before Kevin didn't complain because they knew they were wrong. I told Kevin what happened with the last group by phone. I asked him to keep the place clean and report anything that he and his family damages. Instead of Kevin being considerate and keeping the place clean he left the place a complete mess. The cleaning crew and my wife entered after Kevin left and several quilts were missing and they found stains everywhere. Every bed and the couch were stained with a red fluid. The couch had a whole piece of cake hidden underneath a pillow. I have photos. Someone placed a pillow on the cake so it wouldn't be seen during the cleaning inspection. Let that sink in.... The cleaning personnel charged me an extra $210 to clean the condo after Kevin left. They steam cleaned the couch and scrubbed and cleaned the beds. The cleaning personnel were there for almost 5 hours. Normally they are there for almost 2 hours. What Kevin doesn't realize or understand is the cleaning personnel takes photos and video of the condo before and after a cleaning. I have video proof of how it looked before he checked in and when he checked out. 1. Missing items: two Missing twin quilts. The linen company gave a replacement quilt and I bought another quilt. 2. Items that were replaced: Two mattress covers. 3. Item that will need to be replaced: vertical blinds for the balcony door.

Wonderful condo but needs some essentials

We had a great time! Very clean for our girls trip! The parking is very tight. Need more kitchen utensils, cookware and a better coffee pot. Something to put clothes in in the loft area. TV in loft area would be nice.

Vacation 2022

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Shores I. Garden City beach was very peaceful compared to our stay in North Myrtle Beach earlier in the week. Only 0.9 mile walk to the pier which is where we spent a good amount of our time. We brought our own towels and sheets to avoid rental cost. One thing that kind of irked my daughter and I was that the owner installed a Ring doorbell or which was not of our use. It would have been nice to utilize as we had several knocks on our door from random maintenance crew. It was me and my daughters first solo trip so that sort of caused some anxiety. I do not believe that the ring doorbell (camera/audio) was disclosed in this listing. Overall we had an amazing time and made many wonderful memories here and would love to return!

Hello Meghan, Thank you so much for the good rating. I'm always pleased when guest enjoy themselves. The Ring doorbell camera isn't used to be intrusive. It's a tool used to ensure guest safety. The Homeowners Association will periodically need access to the building for general maintenance, service calls and pest control. Thanks so much for taking good care of my place. Very clean and beach is across the street

We enjoyed our stay at this cute and very clean 3rd floor condo. The best thing is the beach is right across the street and we walked it every day and, you can see a bit of the ocean from the balcony even though it faces to the side. The owner was great and very responsive! It's a touristy area about half hour south of Myrtle Beach with plenty of pancake houses and souvenir shops. We enjoy nature and found some of the best at Brookgreen Gardens, Hunnington State Park and Myrtle Beach State Park all within a half hour drive.

2021 vacation

Everything was as described. Oven was broke but owner contacted me personally and had someone out there to fix the oven while were there. The owner was very good at contacting me. I give it 5 stars and will be back next year. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

Just steps away from the beach!

Highly recommend! Perfect location in Garden City. Home away from home for our week at the beach! Parking on site and elevator make it easier to haul all your stuff. There is a pool and the Beach access #15/Woodland Street access is across the street. Hoping to stay again, soon. Bring linens or rent them. Bed pillows are available. Also, there's a washer/dryer and dishwasher for our convenience, along with a full size refrigerator. Perfect accommodations and recommend to anyone that is looking to stay the week at a nice, clean beach location.

The condo at Sandy Shores was great. Great access to the beach and the pool was nice. They need to designate the parking outside for large vehicles and the parking underneath the condos should be for cars, compacts,car based suv's. Communicating with Tim the owner was great as well.

Great place to stay! Inside was really nice . Queen bed not a king it right beside the walk way to other rooms. Was little loud when people came by. Really close to the beach . Wifi not great. Nice swimming pool on property! One park pass kinda sucked. Wish they had two or visitor spot. Great place to stay.
