This villa is located in The Garden City Beach Guest House and is one block to beach and pier with views of the pool and hot tub (and partial ocean view) from the front with views of the fishing creek from the balcony in the rear of the villa. This villa boasts an elevator and a king size bed with a sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests. The sliding glass door to the balcony gives the bedroom a light and airy feel. Garden City Beach is one of the nicest beaches in the Grand Strand and excellent fishing from the pier or creek. If golf is your thing there are plenty of good golf spots near Garden City Beach. Everything that you could need is within walking distance but biking around can be fun also. Note: Please be advised that the King tides can make some of the roads impassable for a time. Please perform internet search for "Garden City beach SC king tide dates " for more information

Garden city

Furnishings were a little bit old. The bed was quite comfortable. The kitchenette was too small. There was a musty smell when we walked in. Essentially we were just sleeping there, so it met our needs but we generally stay in facilities with a little higher quality.

Location was excellent! Food, shopping and beach were all within easy walking distance. Everyone at the condo we came into contact with were extremely friendly.

Long Weekend

The unit was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is located in a busy part of town, and directly over an outdoor bar. It was easy to walk to the pier, the beach, and local establishments, but it was quite noisy at times.

Perfect Getaway

This location and property was just what I needed! A perfect place to kick back and relax just steps from the beach. Gene was responsive and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend!

Garden City Guest House stay

Check in was super easy and homeowner gave me all the directions needed. The room was super clean, couldn’t have asked for better. The room was in the perfect location: beach and pier right there along with stores and nightlife; very convenient! We would definitely stay here again and I will definitely recommend others!

cleanliness

The condo was not clean. Dirt on floor and the area rugs, rusty sink strainers laden with soap scum and conditioner. There was a bag of half-eaten chips and a can of tea under the bed hanging out with alot of dust balls. Although the bath towels were predominately fresh the hand towel hanging beside the bathroom sink smelled horribly. The inside of refrigerator and freezer was dirty.

Garden city Beach pier!

Gene was awesome to work with. Very nice and cozy little place a short walk to the beach and pier. Live music, good food, nice locals. We will definitely be visiting again!

Really enjoyed our stay. The bed was awesome. The AC was incredibly powerful, and kept the room nice and cool even when it was super hot.

Clean

Condo was clean but outdated. The "ocean view" was standing on the front walkway or back balcony where you could see the inlet/marsh. Owner was helpful getting into the unit and communicative. Price could've been much lower considering "view" and dated interior. Overall it was decent but over priced.
