All around great weekend for UGA football :) Bigger pots for cooking for large crowd would be nice. Also we didn’t read through the ‘welcome’ book until our last day, which was a Sunday, so we weren’t able to follow protocol for trash disposal correctly!

Amazing house for a large group

We had three families with young kids stay at this gorgeous lake house. The house had plenty of space for all of us and even a room or two to spare. The location is perfect for small kids since the water is very calm. It was a bit closer to road noise that I wound have liked but it wouldn’t stop me from renting again. The provided kayaks, boats, and paddle boards were such a perfect addition to an already great rental.

Even better than the pictures.

Couldn't have been better. As colleagues we each had our own room and bathroom, as well as a spacious common area. Outside amenities were great. We enjoyed cooking outdoors and cornhole, not to mention just relaxing after a day's work.

Multi generational family vacation

Great for large groups with kids!

My family had a great time! Space is wonderful for kids/infants (lots of extra space in rooms for Pack N Plays)! The kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat were a hit with all our kiddos! Would definitely recommend and likely to come back. Only advice for families is to bring life vests (there are 3 on property).

Wonderful Vacation house

We visited your gorgeous lake house for 4 days to celebrate Thanksgiving with our 2 daughters and their families. The house is so spacious, it accommodated the 10 of us with a room to spare! You provided everything we could possibly need. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the detail of giving each room a theme and name!! We had a wonderful time together and would definitely want to visit again!!

Great Place to spend a few days

Property is very nice and very spacious. Ally he amenities you could need. If you want to boat on the main lake double check access. There is a tunnel but it’s small. There is a charcoal grill and gas flat top. Not a standard gas grill. It is close to the main road but wasn’t a problem while we were there.

Gorgeous home & lovely landscape

Steve and Lana were more than exceptional hosts! Their home and property is beautiful. The house was clean, updated, spacious, and all around awesome! My only critique is that the location of the home is right beside a busy road, so you see all the traffic driving by.

Annual Lake Vacay

Our family has been gathering together each summer for a week of fun and memories for over 10 years now. We recently outgrew the house we’ve been renting and needed more space for our growing family. This house was outstanding and we loved the variety of the rooms. So spacious and uniquely themed and named. The swimming was fun though a little warm this time of year. We loved the small cottage for our teens to gather.

Amazing!

This property was amazing. We took a group of graduating High School Students. There was enough space, plenty to do, and a great atmosphere for us to have a great time. The lake area was amazing with great fishing and deep enough to swim. Extremely amazing property. I plan on going back some day!

Work Retreat

We had a great time! The house was perfect - amazing to have a bathroom with every bedroom. The location was awesome. We had a yoga instructor come one morning and a personal chef come one evening. We enjoyed the water and some local restaurants. The homeowners were super easy to communicate with. The house was clean. The bed are super comfortable. The location, even with the traffic noise, was very quiet and easy to get to. The kitchen it huge. And the finishing details of the house and property were terrific. I would rent again for either work or personal! Thank you so much for a great week.

Tom married Holly 4 years ago. We decided in 2020, as a family, to purchase Golden Acres (2 acres with the small cabin on site) with the intention of building a main house and renovating the cabin for rental on VRBO.
