We had a wonderful stay at this condo, property is awesome, location great, pool area lovely, backs a golf course and of course in the super safe gated community of Puerto Aventuras. Tiffany is an absolutely amazing owner who was very helpful, easy to communicate with and offered wonderful suggestions to enhance our stay. I highly recommend this property!

Home from home.

Nice apartment in a great, quiet location next to the golf course. Awesome pool we spent hours relaxing on the deck and using the pool. Short walk to marina/town/beach via golf cart path. Walk to Chedraui supermarket very easy (though if you have bags you will need a taxi). Owner (Tiffany) was very helpful. All in all we had a great 4 weeks. Additional: the photos show an older television but there is a new Hitachi LCD tv now. The king size bed was also very comfortable.

Felt like we were staying at a long lost friend!

Talk about a kindred spirit, staying a Casa Margarita was like we went to a place that a friend let us stay at. We felt privileged to be able to enjoy such a beautiful place. The furniture and finishings did not make it feel like you were at a strange place. From the moment we first contacted Tiffany about her place, the communication was perfect. Everything said or written about the place was 100% bang on. Shortly after booking we received a multi page document that detailed everything about Puerto Aventuras and more importantly what to expect from shopping for food, transportation to getting water. Any question we had was answered promptly. This by far was one of the best experiences we have had renting away from home. Thanks Tiffany for a great two months stay. We'll be back for sure!

Great stay and host

We were very happy to stay at Casa Margareta. The pool was almost always empty and we were the only ones in it. It’s very clean and regularly maintained. It’s surrounded by the lush palm trees and other tropical plants with manicured lawns. The pool is right outside of the patio. We Didn’t end up using the grill provided or the dishwasher but everything else was working fine and any problems we did have were addressed quickly. The fridge started to leak and the AC in one of the rooms stopped working - the managers had the repairs done very quickly. Overall the host was remarkably responsive and nice. Great place to stay!

The perfect getaway!

My 2 friends and I stayed here for a girls trip to Mexico. This trip was even more than what we could’ve asked for thanks to our wonderful host, Tiffany. The condo was so clean and came with several amenities. Not only did our host provide us with a home away from home, but made our girls trip happen in a safe and fun way. She provided an array of suggestions from things to do in the area and places to eat, and also provided us with detailed and safe services for reliable transportation! We were even provided with detailed instructions for a short cut to get to the town/beach easier. The little things like that show how much this host cares about her tenants and creating a great experience for them. Our host also responded almost instantaneously whenever we had questions. The trip came with so much ease and we had so much fun and hope to come back again. Highly recommend staying here in this beautiful community if you want a trip that comes effortlessly and is a wonderful experience.

We loved our stay!

This condo is very practical for families. Pros -ground floor -pool right in backyard -family friendly decor (we were never afraid that our teens could destroy anything) -2 bathrooms -3 ACs work well and cool fast (no need to keep them on while you're gone) -Literally has everything you need (more fully equipped kitchen than any other condo we've been to, grill, filtered water jugs for dispenser, tons of towels, washer&dryer, feminine products, plus soaps and shampoos, beach chairs, lounge chairs, snorkeling/pool stuff for kiddos, legos, coloring stuff, games, DVDs -comfy beds and couch has memory foam, too -feels very safe -Puerto Aventuras has amazing restaurants -closely located to awesome cenotes and within a day's trip to ruins -very quiet at night -we had zero mosquito/spider issues (beg of April) -neighbors were all quiet (some seem to live there permanently) -there are a couple pharmacies there in PA you can do covid tests for $30. Done within 15 min. Pricey compared to Walgreens in the US, but convenient -Tiffany is always ready to help and replies super fast. She is an awesome host! Cons -we had a couple days of loud drilling from a neighbor condo complex -it takes a while to get to the nice beach by walking, but we explored the whole area by car and didn't mind -Not really a con, just be aware that you might have to wait a few min at main gate to have them check you in each time you arrive (this provides safety) -stock up on water a few days before you think you're gonna run out. Water truck was not reliable for us (actually the stores were all out of the epura 5 gal jugs for a few days, too. Chedraui has 10l bottles that we just filled a jug with and put it in the dispenser for cold water.

Pure Paradise Bliss

This property was idyllic! Tiffany, Our host had exceptional communication with us from the moment we booked till after we checked out! The place was a fantastic slice of paradise. Close to so many amenities. All in all a perfect place to relax while on holiday. She provided everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and to feel comfortable! The property itself is safe, and clean (there were pool cleaners daily), and we even had a chance to get some Coco Frios to enjoy from some of the maintenance crew who were taking them down from the palm trees! Now the interior was great, it was cozy but modern, there were games for both children and adults to enjoy, plus loads of extra towels, and other items one may forget to pack on a vacation. It was quite a large space even with it being apartment style, we never felt like we were bombarding eachother space while staying there. The community of Puerto Aventuras is beautiful, as was this place. We will recommend it again for other family that's headed down there, and we will be coming back here again on our next adventure down here as well! Thanks again Tiffany for everything, and for making us feel like home away from home!

Perfect property for a relaxing vacation

We (family of four) booked this property for 9 days In the winter break. Everything about the apartment is as advertised. Tiffany and her property managers were very prompt to answer any queries or help out if needed. The apartment is self-contained and we loved the touches (e.g. a drawer full of movies for kids and grown-ups, family games like scrabble etc.). We rented a car, so we could visit nearby beaches, canotes (spring wells) and the Tulum ruins. However, not renting a car is also an option as the Puerto Aventuras neighborhood is safe and everything is within walking distance. We will be back again. Yazdi

Happy, felt like home!

We were planning a long vacation and since we are with two children for us was important to have and professional. We stayed for more than a month and we were very happy. Thank you most details arranged in advance and get information from the source. I called and sent emails to several agencies, some of them answered after a week or later, other never. Then, I found this Condo. I was able to get in touch with Tiffany (the owner) right away and she answered in plain English on all my questions. She emailed me the conditions, and all charges clearly stated. Next day, I paid conveniently online. After that Tiffany emailed me a very useful guide with tips, which she prepared by herself. When we arrived, we found a very nice and clean place supplied with water and everything. The kitchen is fully equipped and had everything including, seasonings, sugar, coffee, you named, just like your home kitchen. There are washer and dryer plus all kind of detergents. A cable tv with many channels, plus dvd and large collection of movies. The best part for us were the kids movies. Talking about kids, there was a box with toys, cars and legos, plus some digital games. In addition there were kids live jackets and other useful everyday items that you do not usually pack in your luggage. Our boys felt like home. Internet is fast and reliable, we didn't have any problems. The rooms are good size, the master bedroom has a California king bed, so you can imagine the size. The mattresses and the cushion are the ones with memory and are amazingly comfortable, 5 stars hotel experience. There are plenty of nice towels including pool towels. The condo is air conditioned, each room has a separate unit, so you can adjust the temp. for each room in addition there are fans in each room. The onside managers are responsive, quick and they speak English. We needed some help and they came within an hour. The patio of the condo is very nice, it has a barbeque, and you need to make about 15 steps to jump in the pool. The building is located on the golf course, it quite and very well maintained. It takes about 10 min. walk to go to the beach, there is a shortcut through the golf course. Also, the owner provides bikes included in the price, which are extremely useful if you are lazy to walk. Bottom line, it is comfortable and cozy condo equipped with everything, the owner is nice, responsive and professional. We stayed for more than a month and we were very happy. Thank you Tiffany.

An excellent place to stay!

What a fantastic condo! We are a couple with two children and found this property is excellent. The pool next to the terrace is large enough to swim. It is the perfect place to rest after a long day on the beach or visiting archeological sites. There is plenty to do nearby. The owner answered all my questions very quickly and I want to thank her all her suggestions. The house has everything you can need. The garden is a plus and we saw a lot of animals here. It is really a quiet place. I strongly recommend it. Puerto Aventuras is a very safe place to stay. Un apartamento fantástico. Somos un matrimonio con dos hijos y este condo nos ha parecido excelente. La piscina junto a la terraza es suficientemente amplia para nadar. Nos ha resultado el lugar perfecto para descansar después de un largo día en la playa o las ruinas. Hay multitud de cosas por hacer en las cercanías. La propietaria respondió a todas mis preguntas rápidamente y quiero agradecerle todas sus sugerencias. La casa tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar. El jardín es precioso y vimos muchos animales ahí. Realmente es un lugar muy relajante. La recomiendo a todo el mundo. Puerto Aventuras es un lugar muy seguro.

What a wonderful place for r&r, There is not one bad thing I could say about this condo. The place was clean the property managers were very friendly the owners where very quick to answer any questions we had on any topic, The dolphins seals manatees were all very cool to watch at the marina. The bikes were an added bonus we used them every day and with the baskets it was nice for grocerie shopping near by. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Paradise

What a wonderful place for peace and quiet! We absolutely loved our vacation and can't wait to go back. The condo was very clean and inviting. The residents of Torre Esmeralda were very friendly and helpful. The pool is literally right out the patio door...ten steps. We really enjoyed hanging out in the sun, swimming and just relaxing. There's even a resident lizard who lives at the pool who we called Jorge. The walk to the beach is about 5-10 minutes across the golf course and down a street and path. It's really quite relaxing. Puerto is very quiet and relaxed. The shopping isn't as great as Playa del Carmen or Market 28 in Cancun, but it worked just fine. The restaurants were very good. Absolutely loved Gringo Dave's! The best deal in town for steak and lobster! Watching the dolphins never gets old....they are so cute and playful. We booked a catamaran trip with Fat Cat. We totally recommend the trip....the crew and staff are wonderful. Snorkeling in Akumal with the sea turtles is a must. Wow....what an experience. The beach was very nice. Hardly anyone else was out during our stay. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and we can't wait to go back.

Vacationing at Casa Margarita

Casa Margarita turned out to be a great home to spend my vacation. I use the word home because that is how I felt when I stayed there for the whole month of September. Tiffinany was excellent in explaining and providing directions and helpful tips to not only get to the condo but to enjoy many of the local atractions. The condo was very clean and comfortable and bug free which was very important to me. They had provided all the amenities that I needed, which made packing a little easier. The pool is just steps from the patio and was very refreshing on those long hot days. I really appreciated the privacy and quiet atmosphere that you don't always get at a resort. Although I didn't run into any problems the managers were available and visible if I did need help. The beaches are very close and there is a excellent SPA -The Alegra just down the road that I really enjoyed. I am a diver and dove almost everyday and had no problem getting to the diving shop everyday not to mention the many shops and restaurants that are all right there for you too. Also the condo has a good location that I could just take walks and enjoy the views of Mexico. I would defentantly recommend this condo for a relaxing vacation whether you have children or not it accomidates very nicely both types of families. I plan to hopfully return this Spring to use it again.

Paradise every day at Casa Margareta!

Two girlfriends and I stayed at Casa Margareta for a week in August. We all agree that it was one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had! We rented a car at the airport (I highly reccomend renting a car) and after picking up groceries at Playa Del Carmen (much cheeper and more of a selection than in Puerto aventuras if you are planning on cooking) we made it to Casa Margareta and were delighted. It was clean and comfortable with new contemporary furniture. It had everything we needed including sunscreen and other toiletries, and a fully functioning kitchen stocked with spices, oils, and a fabulous margarita machine. There is also a large TV, an ipod hookup, and several CDs and DVDs. The airconditioning also works wonderfully and there is a washer and dryer in the condo. It also sits next to a beautiful pool that we enjoyed many times. Our first night we ate at Gringo Daves next to the beautiful dolphin lagoon and got to see a fire show over a round of free margaritas! We did something exciting every day and I already have a list of more places to explore next time. One of our favorites was Ackumal for snorkeling where we saw huge sea turtles, sting reys, a school of cuttlefish, and tons of coral and beautiful fish! after snorkeling we went to Buena Vida for drinks and fish tacos where we dined in a treehouse built in a palm tree complete with a bucket on a rope for service! We also went to Tulum and Coba to see the Mayan ruins. They were both very different. Tulum sits overlooking the ocean (where you can cool off after) and Coba is inland and is more extensive. At Coba we rented bikes and rode from site to site. Along the way back from coba there are several small towns where we stopped to shop and eat. On our last full day we went to the Xplore adventure park next to Playa Carmen. at Xplore we swam in an underground river around stalagtites and stalagmites, and completed the extensive zipline course over the jungle. You definately get the best view of the area from the ziplines. We had an amazing, action packed vacation and couldn't have stayed at a more comfortable and relaxing condo. I highly recomend Casa Margareta to anyone wanting to explore the Mayan Riviera. We were so sad to go!

Perfect place for families with young children

We had a wonderful vacation at casa Margareta, our children (4 and 2) enjoyed everyday. This is the perfect place for families with young children or even couples who want to stay away of it all. The pool is only 10 steps from the terrace, with a shallow end special for children. Every afternoon we enjoyed looking at the ceretis (pig-like, local fauna).For those who like photography this is a beautiful place to take pictures with the golf camp as backround and also there are places like Tulum, Xcaret and Xel-Ha. The beach is beautiful and also perfect for young children. There is a 10 minute walk around the natural scenery, and then you are in heaven. All the blue tones of the ocean that you can imagine are there, white sand, palms and and best of all there are not crowds. There is a wall of coral and we did a little snorkeling. From the hotel you can get delicious drinks for 8 dlls (more or less). For anything you might need at the beach, like towels, sand toys, beach bags, seats, etc, Casa Margareta has it all. The restaurants and shops around the marina give a sense of little town living. We had a delicious dinner at Massimos, italian home-made pasta and looking at the dolphins. Also, Dos Chiles is a good option for mexican food, try the shrimp cocktail. For breakfast there is Cafe Cafe which also offers internet connection. But if you feel like staying and ordering in something, there are great pizzas and oriental food. The condo looks like NEW!!, it is very well equipped with anything you might need even DVDs for the kids and toys. That is a plus, so you dont need to carry extra stuff on the plane. This was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation for all of us and definetly we recommend it and hope to go back next year

We are a family of four that likes to relax on the beach, but then needs doses of adventure. Puerto Aventuras is centrally located to Tulum, Akumal, Coba, Xplor, Xcaret, Xel Ha, Playa Del Carmen and Paamul which offer loads of activities.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because it has a gorgeous pool area and lush landscaping. It is close to the beach, however you can leave the action of the Marina behind and enjoy the serenity of the golf course. In addition, the bird watching is very nice right from the patio.

What makes this property unique

The condo building is located at the end of a residential street, so there is very little traffic. The pool is fifteen feet from the patio. There is an elevator to the rooftop deck, which offers interesting views of the area.
