Large spacious mountain home can sleep up to six. Close to Plattekill skiing & Bearpen Near mountain sports, Windham & Hunter. My property is 7 acres of beauty. This home is great family fun. Unobstructed mountain views from rear deck. Pond on property and breathtaking waterfalls near by. Hiking trails are here. Horses are here for viewing and petting. Inside fireplace, outside fire pit and inside hot tub. The view is Spectacular! Come enjoy a Winter Wonderland.

Very relaxing place with large property

We enjoyed every second of our stay! My daughter, spent a night in the tent; she went to a neighbor to see her goats. We all enjoyed 2 horses - Silverload and Any, Silver is more social though. We all swam in the pond to take the heat off, saw the waterfalls, and hike the scenic trail to mention some. My dogs were crazy running around and swimming.

Peace, Quiet and Value!

Everything we needed for a family vacation. Lots of room to spread out both in and outdoors. Very much appreciated clean bathrooms!!! Music collection was fantastic. Really enjoyed watching the horses, the moutains, the stars and the frogs! Close to Howe Caves, Cooperstown, mini-golf, lakes, falls....

This place was awesome!

We stayed here for a week while my son participated in a tournament at Cooperstown Allstar Village. This was the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Catskills. John, the owner was super accommodating, pleasant and responsive. The house was lovely — we especially enjoyed the sweeping views, sweet horses, comfortable furniture, fabulous hot tub in the Master Bath, and the extraordinary collection of vinyl and the cranking sound system. My daughter and son were just as happy as my husband and I were. We highly recommend this place!!

Beautiful property!

This was the perfect vacation property, everything you could want and more. Beautiful scenic views and a lot of space for different activities and relaxing. The hosts were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We had an amazing time and really felt like we were in a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this property!

2 night getaway

We stayed here 2 nights with our teen boys and 2 of their friends. There was plenty of space for all of us. Nice big kitchen, nice size diningroom, 2 livingrooms and a nice hallway down to the bedroom area. Great to have 2 bathrooms so my husband and I didn't have to share with the boys. The twin beds were a bit too soft for my big boys so 2 of them slept in the livingroom. The livingroom furniture is very comfortable. The view is beautiful from back livingroom, kitchen and dining room. The livingroom furniture is super comfortable. We woke to fresh snow after the first night and it snowed most of the day. What a treat. Lots of space outside to roam. It was very easy to communicate with John. He had the driveway plowed out well before we needed to get out later that day for a drive to Windham. It was a lot of fun going out on the property in the snow. The horses are very sweet too. We brought plenty of wood and really enjoyed having the fireplace going most of the time. We went thru all 4 bundles of wood we brought. The stereo has great sound. Lots of music to play and we also brought some of our own. Almost every room has a thermostat and we stayed very warm and comfortable inside. Nice town of Stamford, NY is a short drive and great to get breakfast or lunch. We had a great couple of days.

Why they chose this property

Very tranquil and relaxing home. It is a place to sit back and enjoy all that Nature has to offer. It has great views for a perfect sunset and sunrise. Very secluded warm and inviting. Also, the home has a great stereo sound system to go back and listen to great old records as well as CDs and tapes retro. This is the house to be at to unwind.
