Cozy Country Farmhouse A lo largo del Scenic Trail Catskill

Venga a disfrutar de un momento de relax en nuestra acogedora casa de campo reformada situada en las hermosas colinas de las montañas Catskill del norte. Estamos a sólo unos 3 2/1 horas de Nueva York, pero verdaderamente un mundo de distancia!

Para su grupo de seis o menos, nuestra casa tiene tres dormitorios, 1 baño completo y 1 medio baño con una cocina totalmente equipada con tanto una estufa de gas moderna y un horno de Glenwood 1.926. Hay un comedor para la cena y una acogedora mesa junto a la estufa de leña en la cocina. Se trata de una casa en la que usted puede poner sus pies y relajarse!

Usted encontrará que nuestra casa es el lugar perfecto para explorar el aire libre ... ya sea por una caminata o un paseo en bicicleta en el Scenic Trail Catskill, un día de viaje a Cooperstown, o una hoguera nocturna en el pozo de fuego en el colina por encima de la casa. O tal vez usted está buscando para relajarse? Establecerse en un buen libro que eligió a cabo en una de las librerías usadas locales o ver esa película que estado ahorrando para un día tranquilo. Así que ... hay mucho que hacer si quieres .... pero sólo si usted quiere!

Super cute, cozy, clean farmhouse. Absolutely loved our stay here. Enjoyed playing a game of scrabble, and doing some exercises out in the sunroom. Wished the town of Hobart had a bit more going for it, but the house itself was fantastic

Just as advertised

The house was comfortable and quiet. The property was absolutely beautiful and the surrounding views were lovely. The kids and our dog had a great time running around. The owners were very nice the couple times we ran into them and came right over when we managed to lock ourselves out almost immediately after arriving! We had a great time.

Great authentic farm house in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful, too short stay here. It is beautiful location. The owner had some farm-fresh eggs for us in the refrigerator when we arrived. It’s close to the “bookstore village” of Hobart and one of our favorite places to eat - The Brushland Eating House. The house was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Great cozy spot

We have stayed here a few times and always love our stay. The house is cozy, we love the location - the rail trail is right behind the house and we love going to the bookstores in Hobart. The hosts are always very responsive. We look forward to another stay!

Relaxing Ski Trip in the Mountains

Great house, bucolic setting, nice proximity to ski slopes! Very gracious and helpful host and house caretakers. Would stay here again.

Wonderful escape from reality

My daughter wanted to visit the Hobart Book Village for her Christmas present, so I thought it would be nice to stay local and find a nice quiet get-away. The Rich Farmhouse is just that. The driveway was semi-circle shaped so there was no need to worry about backing in and out. The beds were so comfortable. I even had a down comforter on the queen bed. So cozy and warm. There were not many places around to eat that were open and we needed some good quality R&R, so we opted to cook at the house. Everything we could have imagine needing was available to our surprise. We made a nice pot of chili (it's December) and did buy containers to bring the rest home with us. There were a dozen farm fresh eggs provided for us in the fridge. What a nice touch! We made omelet's each day and wow, were they fantastic!!! Overall, the home was cozy and we were able to rest on the couches and read. My daughter even went hiking on the trail behind the house a few times. This place is a true gem. We will be back. I highly recommend.

Farmhouse in Hobart

I had a wonderful experience in my week at the Farmhouse. Ive stayed at a good number of rentals over the years, and this is one of the very best. The house is immaculate, and so efficiently thought out. Equally compelling are the grounds - and the close proximity to the beautifull Catskill Scenic Trail. I am eagerly anticipating my next trip to the Farmhouse.

Restful stay

Your location was serene and beautiful. We had a very busy weekend with family and friends but left your house emotionally refreshed. The house brought the feeling of simpler times. Well furnished with comfy beds and everything a person could need during their stay. The dozen eggs in the fridge was an added surprise and I think the best eggs I have ever had. Can't wait for another reason to stay at Rich Farms.

Wonderful experience!

We had the best time! The house was clean with comfy beds, it had all the basic supplies we needed, and had a few fun games to play and interesting books to read during the evenings. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring/walking on the property. The house was close to the bookstores in Hobart as well as delicious local restaurants. The Rich Farm farmhouse was a great place to stay. 😊

Always perfect!

We have stayed here at least once a year for as long as I can remember. It is always clean and well stocked. Our family has so many precious memories in this house. We still refer to it as “the blue house” even though it has not been blue for a very long time.

Wonderful place

I traveled with my daughter and my dogs. We had a nice experience. The house is comfortable, I slept peacefully in the attic. We visited the caverns and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Quick trip

We came for a quick trip to visit the book village. The house was great! Very close to town, and we’ll stocked and very clean. They have beautiful walking trails behind the house as well. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Stay in Hobart

We had a really nice trip to the Catskills planned, and had a great time at Barbara's home. The home was easy to find, the directions she gave were very thorough, and everything was clean/organized upon arrival. What questions we had prior to arriving were answered promptly and thoroughly. We had everything we needed for ourselves and our little baby, and were even able to use the grill and walk around the property. The access to the Catskill Rail Trail cannot be beat, and it really is a perfect property for anyone wanting to get away for a few days. Unfortunately we had to cut it short after one night due to a family emergency, but Barbara was very understanding and gave us a refund for the days we were unable to stay there. This was incredibly generous, and we definitely hope to be back soon.

You'll be staying on a farm that's been home to our family since the 1800's. While it's quieter on the farm from the days when it was an active dairy & poultry farm, there are still chickens for farm fresh eggs. Our family still lives next door and down the road.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The farmhouse was the first house on the farm - my grandfather and his twin brother were born in the house in 1894! For many years after that, it was the "hired hands" house. It eventually became empty and we decided to fix it up. Since we started hosting in 2005 we've had guests from all over the world! We hope you love it - and the farm - as much as we do!
