Family snowmobile trip

The cabin is awesome and well equipped. Comfortable beds and plenty of room on the extra large couch to hang out. It also has fantastic access for our trailers with plenty of parking.

Great Property

The cabin is spacious with great waterfront access. The peninsula with fire pit is fabulous. The whole family and dog loved it!

Lovely location and layout

What a nice place! The home is roomy and comfortable, and the location is amazing, with a sunset view down the lake, and great outdoor spaces for hanging out and enjoying the experience.

Family Christmas Gathering

Our family had a wonderful time during our holiday stay. The home was clean and ready for our group. Beds were all very comfortable. Lots of room for 6 adults and one young toddler. Greg and Rose were fantastic hosts. Would definitely come back!

Amazing property

This property is magical: Two docks, a small beach with shallow water perfect for wading, and the fairy-like fire pit area with seating on the point. The house was large and spacious, and had everything we needed. Greg was a wonderful host.

Great spot on the lake!

Home was very clean and owners were super friendly! Greg answered all our questions and even went out of his way to give us some pointers for fishing the lake. On the days with poor weather, we would curl up and play cards with the family and put on a movie. (Internet was fast and my wife has to have WiFi for work.) Definitely would come stay again.

Sunset Point

Had a great stay at Sunset point. Easy access to the water. Lots of space in the house with a nice patio overlooking Lake Vermillion. Neighborhood was super quiet. Lots of kitchen space w a big island was nice to have. Horseshoe driveway made it easy with 2 larger fishing boats.

Fishing opener

This Property was amazing, the twin docks worked well for our boats two 18 foot and a 16 foot. house was in great shape and accommodated us with no issues. Greg was very easy to get in touch with, he actually reached out to me! Loved this area will be coming back for more adventures. Highly recommend.

Great lakeside getaway for a good sized group

Our party included 6 adults and 2 kids (6 and 2yrs). We loved our Labor Day stay. The layout and two floors makes it great for everybody especially with little ones with early bedtimes. The house is isolated but access to the lake is unbeatable and it's close enough to Voyageurs that we could make a day trip. The owner was responsive and helpful when things came up and helped is with questions we had. Highly recommend!

Sunset Point delivers on evening sunsets

This is a gorgeous property with an amazing indoor and outdoor set up. You have beautiful views of the lake, plenty of lake access with two docks, and a fabulous bonfire set up out on the peninsula. The house has everything you need and a family friendly kitchen and dining area to gather around. We also enjoyed grilling and eating outside on the patio. Greg is great to work with and answers questions promptly. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful spot

Our family had a wonderful week at Sunset Point! We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets and had a great time swimming, fishing, and spending time together. Greg was wonderful to work with and quickly responded to all texts. The house was nicely stocked with everything you would need for the week. It was also great to be able to do laundry while we were there. The air conditioning in the main living area was fantastic and a much needed break from the heat and humidity. We are looking forward to our visit again next year.

What a beautiful home! Clean, spacious, comfortable, and right on the lake. A gorgeous view from both docks, and the fire pit area was so neat! We did not use it, but it would be so perfect for families. I loved sitting out on the dock, watching the sun set. It was mid-September, so too cold for swimming, but watching the progression of the leaves changing color was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable... I cannot think of a single thing with which to find fault. Five stars; we are already talking about next time!

Perfect for the Entire Family

This property is the perfect summer vacation spot for all ages. We loved having 2 separate docks for the boat and also having protection from the weather depending on wind direction. The point offered a great place to sit and watch the sunset while enjoying a fire. We appreciated the spacious kitchen with lots of room for the 8 adults in our party. The bedrooms were all a great size with comfortable beds. We enjoyed seeing lots of ducks along the shoreline and finally figured out how to catch fish that aren't walleye! This lake is incredible and offers something for everyone! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful land!

We had a great time! The property has two docks and an amazing peninsula with a fire pit - the photos in the listing don’t do it justice. Amazing location! Also, Greg was fantastic. Extremely professional and friendly - always quick to respond and acted immediately to resolve an AC issue. Thanks Greg! The property also has an amazing amount of towels! Bath and beach towels - which is super helpful. And the throw blankets are super soft! All around a great experience and we’d absolutely rent it again!!

Gold Medal worthy

If the summer Olympics gave out medals for vacation rentals and I was a judge, Sunset Point would get the gold for all around best. I come up to Vermillion usually 2x each summer and have been staying at a different vacation rental each time simply because I have not found the perfect place I like enough to spend my money on again. I finally found my favorite and here is why: big yard and pet friendly - I'm a two dog (Weimaraner's) mom and love having them with on our vacations; big open living space and amazing views from the house, magical fire pit area (It's the hanging lights that make it so fun) and not to mention perfect view of the sunset. House is very clean and the hosts provide amenities. Large circular driveway with plenty of space for 2 trucks/trailers. Loved the privacy! Yard is so big it feels more private. The only thing it was missing is a drip coffee maker; I'm not a fan of Keurig when I want to top off my cup of coffee.

August vacation week

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Point. The property backs up the name in a big way, the sunset views were amazing! We enjoyed the firepit on the point and the space in the back yard for our kiddos to play. The windows facing the lake were a great place to look out and have a morning cup of coffee. There were also 2 eagles using a tree on the point on a daily basis. Greg was also very responsive and friendly start to finish. We would rent again for sure!

Beautiful Sunsets

Our family had a great week at the lake. Sunsets were amazing! Location on the point is perfect-great water views all around. Greg was very helpful with any questions we had. Can't wait to go back!
