Killington Ski-In/Out Chalet 4 bedr, huge loft on Great Eastern Trail

A true chalet! Very popular. Summer and Fall get-aways. Ski to and from chalet. Contact owner for reduced midweek ski weeks. Located across the road from the Great Eastern with hiking out the door. Sunshine Deck!!! This woodsy, rustic chalet is located on the Great Eastern Trail next to the 'Ski Bridge'. In winter, put on your skis and shuss down to the SkyeShip Gondola. The chalet's convenient location and open floor plan make it great for families and friends. No driving to the slopes! You can ski home to the chalet for lunch and warm-up by the fire. Then watch the ski and snowboard action on the slope right from the large A-frame windows. Equipped with Wi-Fi, TV Lounge, brick fireplace, 2 king bdrm, 1 queen bdrm, 1 twin bdrm, and large open loft. The chalet has a charming rustic feel with barn siding and exposed beams and an open floor plan. Booking now ski week-ends & midweek vacations. Sleeps 10-12 in 4 private bedrooms and an open sleeping loft.



NOTE: Check Killington for updates on hours/days of SkyeShip operation

Ski lift details: The chalet has ski-to Skyeship Base via the Great Eastern trail through the winter season, Check with the Killington website to find when the Skyeship is open . Normally, the Skyeship is open through the month of March on a daily basis. Check the shuttle bus operation on the Killington website.
Summer: The chalet is close to golfing, river tubing and the local pool and tennis facilities (available at a nominal per diem charge)

Fall: Available for The Spartan Races in the fall.

This is a great chalet for 'Leaf-Peepers'. Ride the K1 Gondola to the top of Killington Peak for giant colorful vistas!

We’ve been traveling to this same house for the last 4 seasons and LOVE it. The location can’t be beat - you can walk right over to the great eastern trail. Ginny is wonderful to work with as well. I truly can’t think of a better rental location!

Perfect spot!

Stayed here with friends, it is the perfect location just steps away from the trail. Plenty of room in each bedroom and open living spaces. Will stay again! There was no power when we arrived due to a storm and the host answered right away and both her and the property manager were helpful keeping us up to date.

Wonderful house!

We loved our stay and recommended this to everyone that loves skiing/snowboarding. Bring food to cook for yourselves or if you’re too tired go out and enjoy the local bars and restaurants for food. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house with a perfect location

We had an amazing weekend with a group of friends. It is a beautiful house. We stayed with 8 adults and had enough space. The house is located right next to the slope, which is very convenient for a ski weekend in Killington. Communication with Ginny went smooth and the house was very clean with all basic amenities provided. Our only regret is not staying longer!

Beautiful chalet perfect for skiing Killington!

This was a beautiful location, short and easy access to the slopes of Killington. This would definitely be a ski and ski out location, but only when conditions permit. This is a medium sized chalet, great for medium sized or even larger families, maybe not large enough for multi-family or friend groups. We would definitely rent this chalet again!

Father/Son Ski Trip

We enjoyed the house, and it meet all of our needs. We had plenty of sleeping and common space and the house is designed well for a ski trip. Location is very good and we were able to ski in (lower gondola was not open yet for ski out).

Not much more to be said, if you want a good sized house, with plenty of room this is a good solution. Ginny was pleasant to work with on this simple rental.

Now our Annual Skiing House!!

This was our second time staying at this house and I'm really hoping we continue to every year! Everyone loves this house, the location is perfect...ski on ski off! You can take a break for lunch, end your day early, etc. without affecting your ride home. There was a bed for everybody and 2 bathrooms...no one complained about this house...if you are looking for a comfortable house to stay at on the mountain, you found it!

December bachelor party

This home is fantastic and has everything you need for a ski-on/ski-off weekend. We rented the property for 3 nights and it accommodated 10 guys with no problem. The bedrooms, kitchen, living room, downstairs den, etc. were exactly as advertised and what we were looking for. And the best part is the ski-on/ski-off access, which is, at most, 30 yards down the driveway. HIGHLY recommend this home. Oh, and Ginny, the property owner, could not have been easier to work with!

The location directly off the main East Mountain Road up from Route 4 makes the house easily accessible for cars. The main road is always well plowed and sanded. And the driveway into the house is flat. Everyone finds the house very easily!
